I really want Animal Crossing, but I feel like that one won't be coming out anytime soon. A lot of the 3DS gmes got release dates said to be by "the end of this year." Animal Crossing was not one of the games that got a release date...

If Aninal Crossing goes by it's normal pattern then it should get here is year. Every 3 years a new one is released I believe... Or am I off? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Oooohhh, I didn't know there was a pattern. Very interesting...
One issue I'm finding is it's hard to adjust to the height change of the Animal Crossers. |

Ah yeah, and their arms are kinda odd too, but I do like the odea of the new features and stuff. Everyone at RS who gets the game needs to post their friend code ASAP so we can all hang out in eachother's towns (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I understand it is to put a bigger enphasis on the ability to change pants and shoes, but it's... different...

Yeah, I'm still pretty used to the original look of the characters too, so the adjustment might be tricky. Much different then them just adding something like hair, or glasses.

Indeed. It is a little odd too that the animals didn't get tall. The crosser looks like a giant walking around all of them.

I love the new look of the characters. And by the logic that every three years a new game is released (which is correct, AC:PG - 2002, AC:WW - 2005, AC:CF - 2008, AC:?? - 2011) then it should come out this November. However, Nintendo has announced that it will be released by the end of the fiscal year.

So that probably means next March... Man, my birthday list is just going to keep growing. It would be awesome to have it released in November though...

It's already really far into development, I could really see it getting released in November. From the trailers, most everything has already been designed.

So I was looking online at things about the 3DS, and apparently a whole load of new colors are rumored to be released right around holiday season. The list includes purple, green, orange, gold, and red. Red is soon to be released in Japan.

Oooo gold. Or purple even sounds cool. I'm glad I'll be waiting until then. But my birthday is coming up and I don't know if someone might be thinking of getting me a 3DS. I didn't ask for one; I asked for something else. Though I don't know what my brothers are getting me. Aaaand this has nothing to do with the 3DS anymore.

I got a little look at the 3DS on the weekend. It took me a while to see the 3D, it was pretty cool when it started to affect me though. Xq It looks so light and small.... So unlike my original DS. X.X;

I felt the same way when I first got my 3DS. It is so different from my pretty blue original DS.
But I really like it either way. |

I really do think I would be using my 3DS more if there were actually a good bit of games out there. Ocarina of Time didn't catch my interest very long (for reasons posted in it's own thread) but eh, I think Kid Icarus is going to be the first real good game on the system.
Why? Because it's the first hugely notable title I've noticed that's not a remake and not (really) a sequel. They did whatever the helk they wanted with it to make it a dang good game. I'm also saying it's not REALLY a sequel game... Because, well, go look up a youtube video of the old Kid Icarus games, or play them for yourself... They're absolutely nothing like this new game, save for some characters, whereas the remake games (Star Fox 64 3D, Ocarina of Time 3D) are just pretty versions with new innovative features and the sequel games (Luigi's Mansion 2, Animal Crossing 3D) just seem to be what they are... Sequels. And sequels are generally just continuations of the first games, with whatever the developers felt like putting in added. (This isn't a bad thing at all, but like I said, Kid Icarus is the first really noteworthy title that seems to be doing it's completely own thing.) |
