Ehrm...I'm new? Options

Hello there, everyone! I'm encas, or Mo if you prefer. I know my username is pretty unusual, but I've had it for a while now. It originated from a pen name that I coined almost six years ago that referenced the scientific name of the green jay (Cyanocorax yncas), but I swapped out the 'y' for an 'e' for pronunciation's sake.

Anyhow, I joined this forum for a simple reason: I've been playing a lot of Harvest Moon lately. I've mainly been pecking away at my copy of Grand Bazaar that I got about six months ago, but I've been playing Magical Melody (which is surprising, considering that I gave up on that game ages ago) and HM 64, too. I thought that it would be cool to join a forum for the series, especially considering that school will end soon for me (my finals begin next week).

HM aside, I like a lot of other things. School-wise, I am very heavily involved in my high school newspaper, where I am an editor. Also, I can sometimes be seen playing Pokemon games when I do have free time.

All right then, what about you guys? This place is giving me a good feeling already... :)

Nice to meet you encas. I recently joined RS earlier this year, so I'm kind of new myself.

...wait... YOU HAVE HM64!!!? Man, I'm jealous! I was promised a copy by this rental store and then they forgot and sold it!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif) I was able to by a copy around a year later but it was severely bugged. (could'nt keep a save file, Saibara's face randomly appeared once.) I'll have to try buying online someday.

I recently bought a copy of Grand Bazaar myself. I'm in year 2 and married Ivan the first day I could (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . I also have the Gamecube copy of Magical Melody, it's not one of my favorites, but I don't really dislike it either....

I might as well mention which HM games I like. My absolute favorite is Animal Parade (Tree of Tranquility was good but I prefer AP). After that is the Wonderful Life series. I think you might like AWL, since it has a sort of rustic feeling like 64 did. If you ever do get AWL, you should know that the Special Edition for PS2 was slightly inferior graphics, but has a bit more options in it.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the site! Most of the discussions that are still alive are in the Twin Villages and the Rune Factory sections. (I really can't wait for Twin Villages) If you ever want someone to chat with, I'm up for it. (I'm not always on though, but when I am I usually stay on.)

I like all the HM games you have. Besides 64 cause I don't have it. I'd like to get it though. But who wouldn't? Weirdos that's who. MM is great. I absolutely love the rival feature. Jamie is such a funny jerk (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . I haven't played Grand Bazaar in awhile (too busy with FoMT) but it has some awesome features. I can pretty much talk about any HM game. I don't have all of them but for the few I'm missing I can just fake it X3.

I've never helped with a newspaper but it sounds so cool (IMG:style_emoticons/default/weirdsmile.gif) .
