I don't think a lot of people think we're the biggest thing there is, clearly there is something past us but people who don't believe in a god just don't believe in one figure who created Earth and humans specifically. We'll obviously never know where we come from and if there is an afterlife. And it's not like at this point we can fly into a black hole and return to tell everyone that there are other universes out there. So I don't think it's fair to say people who don't think there is a god are narrowminded.
Last embarassing thing you did in public that you tried to pretend didn't happen? Like when you trip when you're alone and you just kind of get up and look around hoping no one saw you lol? |

I did not mean to imply that there was a direct relationship between believing in God and being narrowminded. I said: yeas, but then I'm not going to go searchign for it. it's a little narrowminded to think that we are the only thing that is living or that we are the apex of evolution And I agree that MOST people do not discount the possibilities...but then there is the Flat Earth Society. |

My science teacher said that when you see a ghost, it might simply be something from another dimension or a parallel universe.
Of course, that got me thinking that maybe in the other universe, the person's still living and all, but whatever. What do you think of that idea? |

What is your actual job? I'm not sure if you've actually mentioned what you do.
Is it what you wanted to end up as? |

Yes, I believe in the universal stupidity principle. I'm not sure that it qualifies under science or not.

The universal principle of stupidity fall under three parts:
1) There will always be people who will not be able to learn something because they just aren't intelligent enough (but the really do their best and try to learn it). 2) There will be people whom, for whatever reason, refuse to learn even though they are capable of learning the material. 3) making things easier makes people stupid (because they have no reason to learn anything hard). in regards to religion, I'm a non-practicing theist. As W.C. Fields said, "I'm looking for a loophole." |

A very grounded concept. Especially 2.
Oh, so you think that there's something out there that intervenes in human matters? Next question. What is the most insulting religious dogma to you? |

Evangelical Christianity. It's bad enough they say I'm going to helk, I don't want my little TV time to remind me. Actually, it's only the Tea Party Evangelicals that insults me.

Well, if you break the glass, it'll be mostly empty. Craziest? please define craziest. like when I dreamt I went crazy or more like bizzare? cheese, followed by Pesto, then cheese again. |
