I haven't had an asthma attack in about four years, but last night it decided to come back. I can barely talk with all the crud that's stuck in either my lungs, nose, or throat, and every time I try to sleep it only comes for a half hour at a time, followed with coughing and sneezing galore. I just wanted to let everyone know so they wouldn't be surprised why I'm here all day rather than at school.

Haha, you think we'd be worried that you'd be posting here rather than being at school? This is what this forum wants XP

Hope it clears up, this used to happen to my brother but hasn't for YEARS now, do you think it's strong allergies acting up with it or something? Or do you think it's come back "for good" type thing? Does that even make sense??

My asthma is the "for good" type thing, and will probably be with me til the day I die. And, Allergies is on the top five list of things causing my asthma.

That is awful. I have heard of that happening randomly to people who haven't had an asthma attack in years.

I've had asthma my whole life too.

See, in seventh grade, I did a research project on asthma. It said "asthma never goes away, but symptoms can."

I slept hard today. Fell asleep for about two hours, woke up, thought I should change, walked into my room (slept in my mom's bed because she has a chair-pillow) and almost fell asleep, like, five times while getting dressed.

Aw jeez, hope mine doesn't come back. It used to be an annoyance (I say annoyance because it wasn't as bad as what you described)back when I was a much younger lad (because now I'm an old man at the ripe age of 20 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) ). Now It never bothers me unless I'm around cigarette smoke, which is rare for me anyway. Hope you feel better soon! Don't wanna miss too many exciting lessons at school. Well, I'm going to school this morning. We're having to make up for that day we got off because of a freeze, and it's only a half day, so I should be okay.

I'm so glad. I got a full night's worth of sleep last night. Beautiful, uninterrupted sleep.
