How full was it when you went to get it, Tyler?
I heard that the 3DS had more preorders than the Wii. |

Btw, wearing glasses probably won't make a difference, I know it's not the same type of 3D but when I saw Alice in Wonderland my uncle wore glasses and putting the 3D ones overtop was fine and he could still see it properly. And I heard that you can choose how much you want the image to stand out so it works for whatever peoples preferances are.
I won't be buying one, it'd be fun to SEE it but I definitely won't be buying one. Just not interested in video games anymore. |

It's so cool you got it. I need to find a way to try it out myself. It sounds amazing.
Tell me what launch game is the best once you've gotten the hang of them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaevil.gif) . |

I got this sucker as well at Midnight.
Still lovin' it, but I'll probably stop using the 3d in a few weeks once I realize that a 5 hour battery life just isn't worth it. |

Haha, that's awesome, Tyler.
And you got one too, Lenyo? Which games did you get for it? |

Work was pretty insane today with the launch of the wonder. I had to hold myself back from purchasing one.
How is the battery life, Lenyo or Tyler? |

I didn't even have to try to hold myself back. That $250 launch price did from the very second it was announced.
I just can't afford that. helk, even if one of my favorite games of all time was getting a sequel or a reversion or some such bullshit, I wouldn't pay that much for a handheld. It's just not reasonable. :/ |

I went to Gamestop to try it out today, but they didn't have the Demo system yet. I think they said they were like 2,000-ish in line to get one so yeah... Unless I wanna go to the city to try it out, I'll be waiting a week or two before I get to play it.
It really does need some original games for it though. I know it has pilot Wings and others, but I'm talkin' more stuff like the new Paper Mario and the new Super Mario game (you know, the one we know very little about (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) ). Basically what I'm saying is that it needs more than Reboots of classics, ports, Nintendogs, and couple of original titles before I start getting interested. I have faith that it will though. I mean, look at the launch titles they had for the DS: Super Mario 64 DS, a Metroid Demo, and.... nothing else notable. Yet the DS has become one of the best sold systems ever and has some of the most unique games on any system. As long as the 3DS can follow suite it'll be just fine. Still needs a price drop though... |

Got plenty of money saved up and could get it but meh, nothing really interests me enough at this point for me to get it right now. The benefits of waiting (lower price, potential Nintendo "OH HEY WE MADE A BETTER VERSION LOLOLOLOL" move) seem to outweigh having it at the moment.

I don't think I would ever buy a newer version. Unless I don't already have a 3DS and for whatever reason it's cheaper to get the new one.
I mean I am still very happy with the original DS and there are like three newer models (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) . The new stuff they added never seemed like enough to buy a whole new console. |

I'd say wait for the next updated version, Pumpkin. They'll probably have increased battery life, made it thinner and it'll be cheaper.

Battery life sucks. You need to form a dang good habit of charging it.
And the thing is: I'm a spoiled rich brat. I don't need to look for reasons not to buy it because I had 250$ lying around anyway so why not waste it? I'm a teenager who has nothing better to do, after all. If I actually appreciated the value of the dollar? helk NO. Wait until it's NOT 250$ or anywhere near there. Stick to the DS until there are actual 3DS games to make it a proper console. The main reason I bought the 3DS is because I was DS-less and figured "What the helk" Edit: Battery life, in all seriousness, is a good 5 hours when you have 3D on. That's the real kicker. The 3D is all neat and cool, but it's a tradeoff for 5 hours of 3D play versus 7-9 hours of pretty nice looking not 3D play. |

Some guys get all the brakes. Man what I could do If I had a lotta money... I'd probably just put it in the bank and use it for school and the like (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) . Not that I'm in poverty or anything, but more money is always nice (as long as it doesn't get to your head. Oh, and I'm not trying to say anything about you Lenyo, honest).
This article from IGN Makes me wanna play Ocarina 3DS a bit more. I like the official artwork for the game so it's nice that Link actually looks like that now, and I've always though that the game could use more vivid colors so the fact that they're able to make an old game look as fresh as it does gets me excited about other possible changes. |

In Australia the console launched at $350, that is one helk of a rip off. I wouldn't buy it at that price. Sales have pushed it down to $300 - $330 however for launch.
I picked mine up for $280 with Rabbids. Thats a huge deal. If the console launched at $300, that would of been my "who cares" price. But $350 is highway robery, expecially when the AUD is over 1 USD. (though it is based on Japanese rates, I know that- but still) |

I've always obsessively charged my DS so I'm glad that's gonna come in handy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .
But I will probably use the 3D effect a lot when I first get it. Even if it does use way more battery power (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) . It is crazy how much this costs though. 350$? No way would I spend that much any any console. |

Note that $350 is for Australia, not America or Japan. If you're Australian, then yeah, but just making sure you knew that it's generally the equivalent of 250 American dollars everywhere. |
