All these new characters, no idea who any of them are haha.

I think really, they should've ended it when Michael decided to leave, I KNOW the other actors obviously didn't want to end the show and want to kind of prove that the show can continue on after he leaves but I don't see it happening. Instead of being embarassed and getting cancelled next season when everyone stops watching they should just end the show themselves instead of losing the job.

I don't really watch the show (or anything on tv for that matter) that often, but I do find it hilarious. It's gonna suck when Steve Carell leaves the show. He's pretty much the reason most people watch it. Hopefully they can find a replacement who will be able to keep the show as funny as it is now. I'm not sure if this is accurate, but I've heard that Tim Allen will be replacing Carell. Anyone know if that's true?

I heard Darryl, Kelly, or Andy may take over. And any one of them in that position could be funny. Yesterday I watched one episode in season six- the one where they had the minority executive program- and Darryl said that maybe one day he would be sitting in Michael's chair. So when I read that he was a possibility I laughed!

Oh I sure hope Tim Allen does not replace him! I find that guy so annoying.

I don't think Darryl, Andy and especially Kelly will replace Michael. I think it'll be somebody new.

What! He's hilarious! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif) And his first name ROCKS.

Did you not watch Toy Story as a kid? That movie was MONDO funny "ex-to-the-dee"

Oh yeah, I love Toy Story. It's more looking at him act that annoys me, instead of his voice, haha.

Honostly, I think it would be interesting to see someone take over who is already in the show. To see where their character goes or whatever! As for Tim Allen, I really like him but I hope he doesn't. Just wouldn't work for me.... Heh heh, matter of opinion though.

Looks like Michael and Holly are coming down to Colorado. :D

Will Farrell (if I spelled that right) is gonna try and be the new boss in the next episode. Could work....

Okay, I have definitely not heard one word at all about Tim Allen even being in the running to take over the role.
I honestly do not think they'd even consider him, he hit his peek in the 90's and the crowd that watches The Office will not be interested in him, he's not relevant and they're not going to get the ratings they'll need by hiring him. I can't even imagine him in the role anyways, he would not be a good choice for it.

And Tim the Tool Man wasn't even that good, comedy shows in that decade can't even compare to what we have today for choices.

I see them either bringing up someone who is already in the show or hiring an already famous comedian that is popular and has the same style of humor. Tim Allen does not have the same style, the Office is too "weird" for his humor... He's more of the regular mans man, not the creepy boss who has no grip on reality.

I'm also not sure about Will Farrel {lol, I don't know how to spell his name either -.-}, I personally do not like him, but I guess when you think about the roles he plays he could be good for that role. It wouldn't make me watch it though, I'd definitely not watch it if he was chosen but a lot of people like him so this makes me weird. He's always come across too arrogant for me, and I don't like his comedy anyways.

Okay, sorry for the random rant haha.

No prob about the rant. I tend to go on too long sometime as well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . I didn't think Tim Allen would be a fit for that role either, I'd just heard that he might be getting it. In fact I think this whole Tim Allen side-discussion started with me asking if it were true.

See? I did say that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) .

Personally I think Home Improvement, the actual name of the show (not judging you. This is a very understandable mistake seeing as what you named was the show in the show. I think this confused me a few times too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) ), was pretty funny. Wilson cracked me up 'cause I always wanted to see his face but they always hid it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . I guess I just see humor from a slightly different angle than a lot of people. Then again, maybe I like the show in part because a lot of people used to (and still do) call me "Tim the Tool Man" 'cause Tim is my first name.

Anyway, none of that changes the fact that The Office probably won't be as funny without good ol' Steve. Really, I see everyone else aside from Dwight and Micheal as leftovers. None of the other characters are even remotely close to being funny (well, Jim has his moments, but... whatever y'know?) when you compare them with Steve. Wonder what his career has in store for us next?

I could definantly see myself watching the show if Will Ferell (there ya go Idler. Now you know, and *insert G.I. Joe reference here*) took over. Actually, now I wanna watch Step Brothers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

I also loved how they never showed Wilson's face, too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I like a lot of the other characters, besides Michael and Dwight. Kelly makes me laugh, Creed, Angela, Ryan, Aaron and Andy are probably the funnier ones after Michael (and sometimes funnier than him). The show just works great with everyone. So, I feel that if they really do a good job with the new boss, than it may survive a little longer.

No, I knew you were asking, my point was that it probably isn't at all even a rumor, how did you even hear about it? And again, the show wasn't that good.

Steve is MEANT to be the funniest person there, Jim is meant to be the every man of the show, he's not supposed to be funny that way. Whereas Steve's character is meant to be the weirdo and be blissfully unaware of how stupid he is and that he thinks he's much better than he actually is. I honestly don't even like Steve Carrell or really any of those comedians, I just liked the show as a whole, I wouldn't go see a seperate movie with those actors.
This is why the British version appeals to me much more, I like British humour waay more than I do what is supposed to be typical American humour which has really just become very sexualized stuff.

But yeah, I hate Will Farrell, but that's because I've heard stories of how much of a jerkoff he is and how he treats people, although I did like Stranger Than Fiction but that really wasn't a comedy.

Do you know a good site that shows the original The Office, ID? I'd like to see it. Or I'm sure YouTube has some episodes.

I don't use those kind of sites anymore after getting viruses from them.

But I'm sure there are atleast clips from the Brit version on youtube, not sure about full episodes but it's possible because I've stumbled upon full seasons of British shows on there that you'd think would be taken down.

Every once in awhile they play a marathon of it here but not too often. That's the only way I've watched it.

Yeah I know Idler, I just don't find the show as a whole as funny as most people do. Just a difference in taste really. Same with the Tim Allen thing. I hadn't heard about Will Ferell being a jerk. I can definitely see it though. I used to have a "friend" in high school who was, what you might call, Two-faced and reminded me a lot of Will. Hilarious guy, but as soon as you walked away you knew he was talking about you. The guy even looked like Will Ferell, which makes it all that more easier for me to imagine him bein' a jerk. Then again I don't really know the guy so I can't judge.

No, didn't watch it, saw a few clips from different shows talking about it, did look funny when they were all "we were meant for eachother"

Yeah, the Will Ferrell thing I remember hearing a story on some late night show a couple years ago and this small new comedian was in a movie and told a story how he signed up for an improv group and one day Will Farrell showed up {I think he had been apart of it years ago and rumored to show up every once in awhile} and this guy was nervous and when it was his turn he wasn't that funny because he felt intimidated and Will Farrell kicked him out, his first mistake he embarassed him and got mad and told him to leave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif)

I've also heard other stuff that he acts really stuck up, like he's better than the rest type thing.

It was an alright episode (the Aaron part was the best), but I don't want him to be the new boss at all.

What? He did that? That does seem like him. I get that stuck-up vibe from him. >.>

My opinion of Will Farrell has improved somewhat with time. It used to be that any joke he would tell would be rather lame. In fact, the only way you would know it was a joke was when he started shouting - indicating the punchline was being delivered. Lately it seems he's grown out of this, all though it's entirely possible he's just not performing much anymore.

Used to be a good indicator of who to avoid, when a stranger would start telling a joke Will Farrell style.
