I'm not gonna watch the video. I stopped looking at those after what happened with Masked Person.

But I'm not surprised the wedding isn't great (apparently). I mean it is normal in RF games that the wedding is pretty low key.

Anyways Joe isn't that bad. I guess. I like his look more than Bismarck (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

I was wrong. I guessed the video-maker would marry Joe (wait that video is by the Clover person right? I didn't look so I just assumed it would be by that person).

I also was going to stop watching, but I watched to see Candy, Tabatha(who just came in) and the kid get born(which I just watched and it was a pretty cute scene).
Oceans story was kind of a let down, but the gameplay looks great and that's all I care about.

Joe looks okay, but he really needs to do something with that hair of his... and that face when he is upset or complaining.
lol Bismarck is shorter then Sonia! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) At least he has some backbone.

Yeah it's OtogiClover's video, and she said that she was planing on marring Azel from the beginning.
Oh, and you and the person you marry wear rings in the game after you or they propose.

I agree. Gameplay is what matter most and it looks great. But the plot was a major let down of the highest variety (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif) .

That's cool people are different heights. Bismarck seems like he would be shorter than a girl (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

I just realized the 3D models make the characters look older compared to the artwork. At least that's how it it for a lot of them (in my mind at least).

That's cute. But I am still hoping they will bring back the RF1/2 feature of each girl having a different item used to propose. That seems pretty unlikely now though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) .

Agreed. This is the first let down of this size that Neverland has given to me. But it can't be helped...

I'm really wondering what type of voice Bismarck will have in the english translation, I like his Japanese voice actor a lot, he is dorky but smart sounding at the same time.

That's what I see too, it's kinda nice that they look older.

I would like for them to bring back the different proposal item for each girl, but I don't think they will.

Well I was actually pretty disappointed with RF3. I mean seriously you call that an ending >:(.

But that was not nearly as bad as this.

I doubt it but, really I will be So mad if all the kids look like Azel (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

My favorite voice was shockingly Masked Man's -_-. I don't even care what they do with that character's voice anymore. I bet Bismarck will have a much wimpier voice in the English version. That just seems like something they would do (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) .

Yeah they probably won't bring that back. Too bad even though they just took up space in my storage I really liked collecting those.

I stopped playing RF:3 after I saw my sister beat the main story, it was just bad.

I wish OtogiClover would have married one of the other guys, because then we could have seen if all the kids look like Azel or not.

The voice actress who did MM's voice was very good at the voice... I'm not looking forward to hearing the english voices. In fact I'm going to cry when I hear Joe's english voice, they always ruin the upbeat voices.

The different proposal item for each girl was a nice touch to their events.

Yep it was. And then there was really nothing left after that. Unless you wanted to have some clone children. But it was still a great game. Just not as great as all the other RF games.

We'll just have to wait and see. I am really thinking they will look like who you marry. It would be crazy to make all of them look like Azel no matter what.

I Know MM's voice actor is female and still didn't think it was a girl playing that part (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . Haha I could see Joe ending up with a really annoying voice. But I'm most worried about Pandora. I am so afraid she'll sound even more like a little girl.

I agree. But at least the events themselves are more personal. I mean they didn't really have any events in RF1. The engagement items was really all they had to learn more about the girl. So that kinda makes up for it. I still want that feature back though :/.

The kids in RF:3 were statues from what I heard.

Here is answer the question about who the kids will look like. A member on Ushi no Tane played as Azel and married Sonia.
(IMG:http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/8265/img0071ay.jpg)
And that is what the child looks like when you marry Sonia. So yes!!! the kids do have the hair and eye color of the person you marry.

I'm not going to think about what Pandora's voice will sound like...

I haven't played RF:1. I think they should make it like in RF:2, but better.

Yep. They aren't even added to the character list (at least that's what has been said. I never had any myself).

Coool. But now I'm hesitant to marry Sonia. Since I don't want a pink haired boy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . Just kidding I never play long enough to have a kid anyways.

Speaking of Pandora does anyone know for sure if she is like the Witch Princess or has a more original personality. Cause from what I've seen she just seems very AP Witch Princess like.

So the kids in RF:3 are furniture like... interesting.

Thankfully Sonia has almost a neon pink hair color so it does't look that bad on the boy. I'm so marring James and having blonde hair and blue eyed kids!

From what I've seen of Pandora she has a big part in the main story and she seems to make the most normal conversations into the most evil ones, and I think it odd that she lives in the church.
I've never played a HM with the Witch Princess in it so I wouldn't know if Pandora was like her.

Oh well I'll just have to wait until I get the game before I judge her (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

I wonder what the kid's personality is like. But I'm already happy with the improvement of changing hair and eye color. So even if they have the most boring personality I will still be alright.

I just found out that the friendship points turn into love points after you get the FP's up to seven.
(IMG:http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/5374/img0073ol.jpg)

I'm hoping that the kids will be nothing like the ones in Frontier, it had to be one of the most annoying kids I've ever had in a game. After he/she became old enough to walk they would follow me everywhere around the town, but when I went into a building or dungeon he/she would go home.
I just find that programing annoying.

Oh I see. But do you also have to beat the plot for it to turn into LP? Or can the girls still love Azel while Sonia is in his head?

That seems kinda cute. Unless it made the game lag or the kid would bother me I wouldn't mind having my kid follow me around.

I'm not sure, but I was thinking the FP's turn into LP's after the main story.

It made the game lag and every time he/she would go home he/she would talk to me first and then would leave. I'm pretty sure every time I would go home he/she would talk to me and I had to hear that voice XSeed gave he/she.
I guess the kid wasn't that bad, but I found it annoying.

Here are the models for Elena and James kids.
(IMG:http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd279/Syvle/jeanne.jpg) James' girl.
(IMG:http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd279/Syvle/noah.jpg) Elena's boy.

I'm not sure if the person who took this screenshot meant that one child was Elena's and the other was James, or if they use the same models for both Elena and James' kids. Idk.

You should put that in a spoiler >.>. I didn't want to see what all the kids looked like.

Cute pictures though.

The spoiler tags don't work on pictures so I'll just stop posting pictures of the kids.

I found some sales figures for those who want to know how well Oceans is selling so far.
*Note these sale figures are from Mar 14*
RFO JP Sales so far
First week sales (Wii) = 10,007 units
First week sales (PS3) = 29,515 units
Second week sales (wii) = 5,656 units
Second week sales (PS3) = 3,080 units
Total sales = 48258 Units sold. counting both Wii+PS3

These are the total sales since all the games have been released

JP RF1 Total Sales = 143,444 units
NA RF1 Total Sales = 327,991 units

JP RF2 Total Sales = 146,005 units
NA RF2 Total Sales = 289,815 units

JP RF3 Total Sales = 101,790 units
NA RF3 Total Sales = 113,678 units

JP RFF Total Sales = 40,533 units
NA RFF Total Sales = 121,289 units
EU RFF Total Sales = 90,977 units

NA has a consistently higher overall sales compared to the Japanese sales. Now all we need is for Oceans to sale some more, and then hopefully XSeed will get to translate it.

Really? That's... unexpected. But at least they know that Rune Factory is welcome overseas.

Okay. Maybe you could link to where you find the picture so other people who want to see can find them.

I'm really not that surprised they do better overseas. Just because I thought games like RF are not as common in English as they are in Japanese.

I am surprised that RF1 did the best. None of the newer games have beaten it. That's not good if a series just gets less and less sales with each game. I hope RFO will do really well. It already beat RFF in Japan at least (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

I was thinking about putting links to the pictures.

I wasn't surprised about the sales figures since:
The first game in most series usually sell the best if the games are similar to each other.
Sales always go down on a series that isn't that big.

I'm not sure how well Oceans is going to be doing with all of the sh*t that is going on in Japan right now, but the fact it out sold RFF is probably because the runey system is gone and the whole atmosphere of the game has been improved, and it's also on the PS3.

I just realized something. There are two sets of twins in RFO. I always forget the Sara and Bismark are twins and not just siblings. It is weird since the two other sets of twins in the RF games are very similar looking or identical. I'm glad they added a pair of fraternal twins.
