I think the problem too is that I don't even know the story, and there hasn't even been a trailer. With Twilight Princess, they had a trailer, and they kept pushing back the release date which made me want it more!
I don't know though, ever since Nintendo had this whole motto of "Anyone can play, even grandma!" every game has been really going down. I'm hoping that if anything, Nintendo will keep Zelda original for it's hardcore fans that have grown up with the series. |

Cool new trailer yo. I'm liking the way the game-play is shapin up. That one dude is kinda creepy though... though as a fan of the series I guess I should be used to creepy characters. I'm lookin at you Tingle... |

Wow, thanks for posting that, Happy Dingo. That trailer has made me want the game way more. Looks like there is a strong focus on combat now (as there should be, since we have MotionPlus now), but there's also other unique things like balancing on a tight rope. Which I guess isn't super unique, but at least you'll be using the MotionPlus for it.

No prob Bob... er, Oscar.
It's nice that there's Finally some new info about this game. Still nothing real big as far as story goes aside from that strange man. Still, this makes me a little more excited for the game. Which reminds me that I still need to send my Wii to Nintendo to fix it... =/ |

Haha, Bob. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
Yeah, I wonder who he is. I also noticed that the emblem has a less gold look to it like the one from Twilight Princess. It looks to be made of stone and it has vines growing off it. Guess that just means that this game is supposed to take place way in the past. |

I almost think that mystery man is another person who morphs into a sword. Kind of has that look to him like the girl who morphs into the Skyward sword. Just a thought.

He does kind of resemble Vaati. I don't even know if that should be in spoiler tags since it's a rumor. But yeah, I kind of would not want him in the game. Especially if he's the big boss.

Sorry, I didn't want to get accused of spoilin' anything.
People are saying it most likely is because I guess he is from the era before Ocarina... |

Ahh, it's alright. It doesn't matter; you're fine.
Oh yeah, I think so. I forgot a lot about him. I remember him mostly from the Minish Cap. |

Isn't minish cap the only game he was in?
I never played Minish Cap, so I don't really know anything about him. :/ |

Hmm, I believe he appeared in Four Swords. But I think that's it, haha. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Makes sense why I only remember him from that game.

Vaati would be sweet in 3D though. Just aslong as he doesn't have some stupid hidden weakness that makes him pathetically easy (Ganondorf sword fight in TP was the fishing pole, Ganon in OoT was rolling between the legs for a good number of free strikes, Fierce Deity for Majora, and I can't quite think of anymore at the moment, but you get the idea.) I also saw that it looked like a Lyre (small harp that Sheik played in OoT) is on Link's D-Pad menu, or it looks like it is atleast.

I also noticed that harp there. I'm glad music playing will be brought back.

Yeah, he does have a harp. Pretty neat instrument!
I also noticed that on D-Pad there's also what looks like the face of this fairy statue girl... (IMG:http://image.gamespotcdn.net/gamespot/images/2010/5/zeldawii2_75264_screen.jpg) Though maybe it's not her face. |

No, I think that face was hers. I guess she will be the little follower who helps you this time around.

She actually reminds me alot of the Great Fairy in WW, which might make sense because when she sees Link she says he was just her type... Or maybe that's a stretch (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
If Nintendo did link most of the games together like that it'd be so ingenious though. |

When I first saw her she also reminded me of the Great Fairy from Wind Waker.

Oh, that crazy timeline of theirs. Would be cool if they released an official one.

Oh, that crazy timeline of theirs. Would be cool if they released an official one. I wouldn't hold my breath. Though there are references to other games in the series, I'm pretty sure that each game is just supposed to be a standalone game... for the most part. That or they really didn't have story as the focus (which is probably what it is actually). |
