Apollo is also the god of poetry, music, and prophecy.
What about spicy peppers? Like . . . Habanero or Jalapeno or Chili? I named my Chimchar Tabasco, but I did consider Habanero and Jalapeno. There's also Hyperion, a titan of light in Greek mythology. Going down the "pig" route: Babirusa (or Babyrousa) <This thing has gnarly tusks! It's wild. Porcula <It's so tiny! Cutie. =3 Or just randomly: Pistacio Barbarossa (means "Red Beard" in Italian, apparently.) |

Haha, Tabasco sounds cool. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
But I thought of a name! Osiris! The Egyptian god of the afterlife. That's where he's gonna send all his opponents, haha. PLUS, the first two letter are also the first two letters of my name and since he's gonna be my starter, he's gonna be closest to me. :D Now one more Pokemon to come up with a name fore...Vanilluxe. Any ice gods or something ice related? |

Ah, Osiris. I was considering that for Cofagrigus.
Icy stuff? Well, let's see here . . . (one moment) |

Yeah, that would work for him pretty well, too.
Okay, haha. |

I think most icy stuff is related to females, but I'm not sure. Gender-exclusive names are so limiting! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
We could go the ice cream route: Gelato Neopolitan Klondike Or the cold route: Eskimo Cryo Frostbite Coytus is something that came from Wiki. Apparently, the lowest level of Hell, and it's freezing! So cold it burns. 0_o Niflheim also from Wiki. Apparently, a cold misty world in Norse mythology. |

I was thinking of Gelato just now!
Cryo is too similar to that new crying-snowflake "Cryogonal" or whatever. Must be where they got it from! Frostbite is pretty neat! May name him that. I wanted to kind of incorporate the fact that there's two of them in one, so like adding the word "duo" but it doesn't work well for most names. Coytus...hmm.... |

Coytus is good from meaning, but I think it's too similar to words with totally different meanings.
Cryo means cold in . . . Latin. Cryogenics also comes from that base. I like Gelato and Neopolitan, personally. I also like Sorbet and Sherbert. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) Lessee, and . . . Milkshake, Icee, SlushPuppy . . . ah! I want ice cream! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/weirdsmile.gif) |

It's tough...but you helped me with the pig name and thanks for that. I could have gone with something I didn't really like.
Ice...ice... |

Ice, ice baby. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
Edited my last post there. I like Candycane, too. I mean, it has one stuck in it. =/ Flurry's okay. . . . Whiteout's neat, it's a type of blizzard so bad that you can't see. Poking around Wiki some more: Cornice: an overhanging edge of snow on a ridge or the crest of a mountain. (Kinda girly.) Graupel: snow pellets, apparently. Kind of like hail. Rime: a milky white accumulation of super-cooled cloud or fog droplets that freeze when they strike an object that has a temperature of 32 °F (0 °C), the freezing point of water. |

Haha, he does have one stuck there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
Didn't even know what rime was, now I do. Okay, which do you like best: Sorbet or Gelato? Those are pretty neat and would be fun to name him one of those. |

Hmm . . . I think I like Sorbet better. I'm relatively sure it's pronounced sore-bay, which I like. Don't quote me on that . . . actually, wait. From the dictionary sawr-bit or sawr-bey. So, close enough.

Yeah, I was thinking Sorbet sounded cooler. Neat! All the names have been picked! Finally....
Thanks again, Crystal! Phew. |

I have always been really bad at giving nicknames. Mine are just plain horrible.

I've seen your nicknames on GPX, ZBoy. They're not bad.

GameFAQs is blowing up with topics right now. People have gotten the games in the UK and some people here in the US have gotten them from stores breaking the street date. D:
*goes to see the hubub...hub bub...how do you say that word...thing?* EDIT: Hahaha!! Listen to this guy. It's a theme song for Black and White describing almost all the new Pokemon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MoBwln-pEk Cof-ah-gree-gus |

I got my preorder call from GameStop today (well yesterday. It's about 2am now. Don't tell) and Black and White WILL be on the SHLEVES on Sunday! Luckily I get a headstart, since my brother has work. He's the better trainer in the family, but he tends to stick with his starter, legendaries, and an HM slave. I try to train more than one at a time. But he does let me borrow Arceus, so I can't complain (sorry not for trade).
Ah I remember the old days back in the nineties... My first time beating the Elite Four... That level 85 Golduck I caught using the Cinnebar Island glitch (I assumed it was female, but I never did transfer it to Gold to check). I even remember one of the Mew glitches. I have an official Mew now, but still... I can't wait for White! Getting Vicinti, Zorua, and Zoruark! I might keep that Zorua little it'll be cuter that way. I hope they have a place to walk with your pokemon; I loved that part about HGSS. Platinum just seems lonely compared to it. |

I also loved the following effect from SS and HG. I really hope they have that element somewhere in Black and White.
