My, but we've strayed from the main topic.
Er . . . who's looking forward to seeing how the new moves are translated? I am! -geeky- (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) |

Ehh, there's no real "police" around RS, really. We could stray off topic forever and nobody would ever notice....
I kinda am. :D Which move are you looking most forward to seeing? |

I haven't gone through them all, so I'm not sure. Definitely Body Purge and Knock Down. Probably the legendary signatures like Blue Fire and Cross Thunder and stuff, too.

Oh yeah, the legendary's moves. Blue Fire sounds neat. :D Which mascot legendary do you like best, Crystal?

Kyurem.
>_> <_< What? You mean mascot for the 'known' games? Fine then. Reshiram, I think. It's a fire dragon. It's very pretty and graceful in my opinion. Zekrom's a bit clunky for me. |

We'd love to have ya, Crystal! That'll be tough, but you'd have to make sure to check the site daily and schedule an exact time and date with your opponent. But that shouldn't be too bad! Haha, sounds cool, though. You got it all with you, at least. It actually sounds fun to read through all the entries. And sorry Twi, I really hope you're not mad at me. It's not that I don't want you! Nah, man, s'cool. Good job for me, beating them into shape. *cracks knuckles* So, as of right now, I know I want my Smugleaf, and I also want Chiramii (horrible spelling on my part) and Zorua. <3 |

I kind of like Zekrom more, but I'm starting to like Reshiram best for some reason....
Twi: Cool! You'll be my go-to-girl I'm case I'll be gone or need something. :) |

Do you know the differences between each version, whitefairy?
And thanks for posting. I think we really need people to start striking up or continuing conversations everywhere. |

Well, Bulbapedia was officially updated with all the English names. That's kind of depressing, some of them really do suck. =/
Also, I was glancing over the new Pokemon again . . . anybody else think we got gypted on the fire-types again? >_> |

They took a while to accept the names, lolz, but I know they like to make sure they are 100% confirmed by Nintendo or something.
Which names do you hate the most? And yeah, we always seem to get a little bit of fire types. I think the first generation was the only one to give us the most, right? But Volcarona looks like an awesome fire type and Victini is part fire and I love him! Also, I'm going with Tepig, so I'm set with fire.... |

Yeah, bugs me how hard it is to come by a solid fire type outside of starter pokemon in general.

Oh, let's look over the names and see which jump out at me . . .
But first, DUCKLETT. It's just not growing on me. =/ Roggenrola is just stupid. I mean, really? Throh and Sawk are la-a-a-a-a-a-ame. Cofagrigus and Reuniclus and just to lengthy and complex for English names. Foongus? Wha . . . ? 0_o I suppose those would be my worst list. But for the sake of argument, some good ones! LITWICK is awesome, and it's evolutions Lampent and Chandelure. Blitzle is fun. Venipede, Whirlipede, and Scolipede are pretty cool. Lilligant is very pretty. <3 Gothita, Gothorita, and Gothitelle and also Archen and Archeops are very well-suited. Galavantula is just all 'round awesome. =3 What about you, Oscar? |

Oscar: Snivy. He just sticks out to me the most. Was gonna call mine Smugleaf, but Twi and I think alike so I want to make an original name without copying her (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
Crystal: Litwick is like my favorite new pokemon name. Love all of it's evolutions too. |

Litwick is just awesome. =3 It's so-o-o-o-o-o cute. Plus, it's fire-ghost. How can you beat a fire-ghost? <3

Fire electric or fire grass is something I would love to see. Fire elecrtric would suffer from 4x to ground which would suck, but the typing would be cool, and fire grass would give fire some immunity to things it's commonly weak against which would be nice. The defense and stall mixed with the raw power of fire would sweet.
But then again fire ghost is still pretty sweet and something I've wanted since Will-o-Wisp became a move. Seemed fitting to have a ghost with fire then. |

Now, for some real news! Veekun has the new names and flavor text for all the moves!
http://veekun.com/dex/moves/search?sort=id...introduced_in=5 I knew Body Purge wouldn't make it past the localization team! "Autotomize: Raises the user's Speed by two stages and halves the user's weight." |
