I never hear anybody really mentioning the show here, but I'm sure there's gotta be some fans. And if you've never seen it, go to Hulu right now and watch it! Hilarious show.
Though Steve Carell is leaving the show this season.... |

I never mentioned this show because I, for some reason, assumed no one else was interested in it.
I first saw the UK version a few years before I realized there was an American one {I know, I was like 13/14, blame it on that} and loved it because at that point I was really getting into British tv shows, and I only started watching the American one the past two years but have watched almost all the episodes minus the most recent season. I watched up til a few episodes after Pam and Jim got married and then kind of lost interest, not because it stopped being funny but like in most shows when the two characters that always have that major sexual tension get married it ruins that bit of it, it was like in House when Cameron left -.- . I'll probably watch the last episodes before Steve leaves, and when Ricky Gervais makes an appearance. And yeah, it's funny watching the UK version and realizing how much more swearing and dirty topics they can get away with over there compared to ours lol, it was surprising some of the things they said. |

Don't worry, I really didn't start watching the show until probably about the same time as you.
You should watch the more recent episodes on Hulu. It's still really good and they kind of tried making Andy and Aaron the new "Jim and Pam". Though it hasn't exactly worked out as great; it's less serious, but funny and awkward to watch. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Though Jim and Pam were kind of like that.... Oh!! Yes, Mr. Gervais made an appearance in the most recent episode! You should check that one out and he appears right away in the beginning. I was first introduced to the American version and have been wanting to see the UK version, but I just forget to look it up. Though I think I saw one on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim once. And Steve Carell is supposed to leave a couple of episodes even before the season finale, since supposedly the rest of the episodes after that will be about finding the new boss before the season ends. I heard somewhere that the episodes may be an hour long after Carell leaves to fit in all the possible new bosses or something like that.... |

I'm in Canada, Hulu doesn't work here anymore because of copyright issues. But they constantly play re-runs on tv of even newest seasons so it probably wouldn't be hard to catch up where I left off.
Oh, as if I missed him on there... I'm surprised they didn't advertise it more, and I loved that you refer to him as Mr. Gervais haha! I've always loved his comedy and how honest he is, even when he does offend people. XP I'm not sure how they're going to replace Carell, I understand that the other characters are important but he is the main character, it's like having say, Sherlock Holmes WITHOUT Sherlock Holmes, or Dexter without Dexter. I really think they should've maybe just decided to be done with it and end the show with him leaving, since they have had a pretty awesome run and it's not like they only lasted two seasons or something, shows only usually last this long if they're lucky, and it rarely ever works when they try to continue on. But I guess I'll have to see what direction they take the show in after he's done. I wonder who will be hired as the new boss... In the real world Jim would be promoted and they'd hire someone in his old job, but I know that won't happen lol, should be intersting. |

I keep forgetting you live in Canada. But yeah, they show a lot of reruns.
Haha, yeah, the "Mr." came out of nowhere. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) And yeah I like him, he seems like a cool guy. Michael always kept the episodes interesting, usually, since he would always cause trouble for other people and just make the craziness happen. It may work if the new boss is a great character that instantly makes everything more interesting. Though ratings will probably drop. I'm hopeful that everything will work out. The show makes me laugh too much, but it has had a good run, so if it does end, then at least it lasted a while. Jim was the boss for a little bit once. Or at least co-boss... |

Hmm the Office. I saw an episode of that once. It was pretty funny.
My older sister really likes the show though. But I don't get what she is talking about (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . |

And it's been less than a month, anyways. We're glad you post! The show is great. Who would you say is your favorite character? Pumpkin: Watch it more! It's hilarious! You'll understand what she's talkin' about. |

Sorry for not replying, would've sometimes I open this site and end up spending all my time on like tumblr or something and then it takes away any new posts from that day, and obviously I'm far too lazy to click the "show posts from this week".
Yeah, we get tons of re-runs aswell, although they're on so many different channels that I'd end up forgetting what order I've watched them. You're right, who ever they hire to play the next boss if it's not the same character as Steve Carrell played then the show has a chance, because I'm not sure if even their best followers will want a second person to almost just fill the exact same character but with a different face, you know what I mean? Pumpkin, how old are you? You may understand it better if you're mid to late teens, although I used to know kids when I was 13/14 who loved it but it depends on what kind of comedy you like. You need to like kind of off-beat humor to enjoy it, and won't get totally offended by some things they say lol. |

I like Erin! :-) Also I started watching the show when I was maybe 14 so about a year ago. (And just making sure. I was shortly on one forum where if it was more than ten day old they got mad if you posted. XP)

I am eighteen.
Since it is so highly recommended I'll check out a few more episodes. I just don't watch TV that much lately. But I will find time in my video game schedule to watch the Office. |

Lol, I watch more tv than play video games, I honestly don't remember the last time I played a video game not counting glow hockey on my iPod haha.
Yeah, it's good, but remember you have to have a certain taste for the comedy.. |

Well, there's a new episode tonight. But it's about that character that I hate so much...Packer.
He's probably gonna be considered a replacement in the show by Michael lolz. |

Oh he won't be the one to replace him, but he'll be a consideration I bet.

Yeah... but still, as much as I love the Office they should really cancel it after season 7. Without Micheal it just won't be as good... sadness.

I'm interested to see who they will pick to replace him. It'll probably get some decent ratings in the beginning of the next season (people will be wanting to see how the new boss does) and then either one of two things will happen:
1) Everybody will like the new guy and think the series is still funny. Or 2) Everybody will think the series has gone on too long and without Michael it's not the same. We'll see... |

I would probably have to agree. Plus I want to see where Andy and Erin go... because I am not a fan of Gabe.

Haha! I actually like Gabe; he's funny. But yeah, I'd rather have Erin and Andy be together. Erin is pretty hilarious, too. What am I saying, they all are!
