I looked at X-Seed's site, and while they did mention when they announced the co-publishing contract with Marvelous for RFF, that was the only thing it stated. But I don't expect them to mention anything about potentially getting Oceans, though. Isn't even out in Japan yet, obviously. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Frontier made more money overseas then it did in Japan, so maybe in the future Xseed will want to do Oceans since they made money on Frontier. Just wishful thinking.
Didn't Xseed translate Little Kings Story as well?

But yeah. You think that they'd want to. Especially since it's multi-platform, and that usually makes more money than single. But we'll have to see.

I found this interesting, apparently Joe is the one who gives you the fishing rod. So Joe is really Carlos from RF:3 and Joe from HM:MM combined!

Naming wise, the two I am very interested in are Joe and Iris. Wonder what they're going to do about their names...

I think Joe could stay. But Iris probably not (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . Maybe they'll name her after some flower, like Chrysanthemum (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) .

I personally wouldn't mind a typo or two if it meant getting the game sooner. I mean unless it's glaring flaws I really don't care at all (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

A typo or two for Natsume means glaring flaws, that's just how they work.

I hope they keep all of the names personally, but I think for sure they will change Iris's name. They'll probably change it to something either really stupid, or really cute.

If there's any one reason to want XSeed over Natsume it's the ability to get decent voice acting. Natsume just isn't as good with it.

I didn't notice any glaring flaws with any of the Rune Factory games Natsume did. I really don't think their name changes are that bad either. Some are just stupid but I end up liking most of them.


I would also like Xseed for that reason. RFF had some good voices. But RF3 wasn't bad I guess.

It's true, Natsume can REALLY screw up spelling and coding. If you forget to translate something, that says a whole lot about you. Let's not forget that they misspelled THEIR OWN NAME. Those people really need to take a grade school English class and learn to proof read.

Don't you remember in RF:2 then Natalie would give you a bottle of medicine it would say, "Received: Tomato" and I've noticed a lot of types and glitches during my play-through.
I guess the names aren't that bad, but some of them just don't seem to fit the characters.
After playing RF:3 I did notice that it was worlds better then 1&2, but it still needed some work.

For flaws I mean some kind of glitch that will actually have a negative effect on your game. I don't really notice typos so that type of problem doesn't bother me at all. Which is why I don't mind if they spell check less and make the game out sooner (as long as not every other sentence has incorrectly spelled words (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) ).

So exciting. But is anyone here even going to get it? I know I can't (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

There was a game-breaker in RF:2, thankfully it didn't happen to a lot of people though.

I've watched about twenty gameplay videos and I'm fully hyped for Oceans, the characters are very nice, the actions for fighting are very smooth, and the loading times are heaven.
Here is a link to the opening and the beginning of the game, it's beautifully put together.

Anyways the 3D models sure look good. And I love that they have many of the same sound effects from RFF.

I was only going to watch a few, but I couldn't stop myself from watching them all lol.
I like how you can jump, and double jump!
The 3D models are good, but I still like the portraits more... I'm just that way.
Mikoto does sound like a guy.

Someone in a blog said they heard Lily playing Kross's theme.
I can't wait to see Masked Man and Pandora, it will be fun seeing how Azel meets a talking statue.

Mikoto is so funny doing the traditional warrior "you are someone strange I've never seen before so therefore you are bad and I must attack you. Until you explain and then I stop and introduce myself" thing.

I would of thought she was a guy at first sight. But after she really started talking you can she's a girl.
