I'm sure they will make new RFs. AFAIK this series sells well enough.

Yeah. Now I'm already looking forward to RF4 . Even Though RFO isn't even out in Japan yet (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . I like the hand-helds better is all. But maybe RFO will change my mind (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaevil.gif) .

After playing Rune Factory 2, 3 and Frontier, I have to say my favorite is 2.
3 seems really boring when it came to plot and most of the characters. Even though the fighting is the best out of all the RF games.
2 is really fun, and the plot and characters keep me busy.
Frontier was very fun, it had a good plot and characters. It also had my Cinnamon. Too bad it didn't have a request board though.

Hooray! I'm glad you agree that RF2 is better. I loved that game and I was afraid everybody else like RF3 or RFF more (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaevil.gif) . I am planning on making yet another file on that game. Too bad there are still so many other games I haven't even started DX.

You don't say... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cowshocked.gif)
Froniter was released after RF2... How could they omit one of its most successful improvements? The console format and capacity could help expand this immencely...
Sheesh, Frontier starts sounding like a beta concept of Oceans to me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cowannoyed.gif)

I remember Hashimoto saying that the team worked very hard to improve Frontier's engine for the loading times in Oceans, maybe they also worked on it to put the request board in it.
Which means if they had worked on the engine a while longer we probably could have had a request system in Frontier...

I see... Looks like the handheld and console installments don't really go hand in hand at such matters, huh.
