What's the price difference between Wii and DS games over there?

Well, DS games are normally 30~35 dollars when they first come out. Wii games are usually 50 dollars or maybe 40 dollars if it is a really unknown game. So paying around ten more dollars per game would suck.

Wii games are generally $100 while DS range from $60 to $70.... Here, that is..... I wonder what they'd cost here, too. Better not be $85 or so for a handheld game. ;--;

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/weirdsmile.gif) . I will never complain about game prices again. Is everything more expensive in Australia or just video games for some reason?

Mario Kart and Brawl have only just been reduced to $90 a few months ago. D': Stupid Nintendo and they're ever-lasting pricyness.
Australian money is worth more than American, but I have no idea how much and I'm unsure on how that works.

But now you know why I always complain about prices. X'q

Unless your money is worth twice as much that still sucks.

Now I am really interested in the price per 3DS game -_-.

I'm going to come across the prices one way or another so I'm just holding off my future complaining. :'q

Ehh, it may be about the same price-wise in Australia and the US. Since Australian money is worth more...*will research this*

And Pumpkin: The "3DSLite" won't necessarily be like the DS Lite. But you didn't like the DS Lite? I liked it more than the original; the Phat was, well, too fat and big. Seems like the 3DS can shrink some, go lower in price and be in cooler colors in, oh, a year or so.

I remember there were a bunch of color variations they showed at E3. There was pink, purple, orange, and red.

Yeah...I liked the red, and even the purple one was cool. Wait...I don't remember a purple one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I like that now there is only one friend code for everything! It's an improvement with online play...

Did you guys see the Bulbapedia article saying that the 3D gameplay might be really bad for your eyes? Nintendo suggests that only children older than seven should be permitted to play the games in 3D mode.

Yeah, I read that somewhere else. But will it only be bad for the young kids' eyes? I haven't heard of any mention on older people's eyes.

Well, it's rather illogical to assume that it's bad only for young people's eyes. I mean, if it's bad for your eyes then it's bad for your eyes. =/ It's most likely that the effects will be more serious and longer lasting for younger users.

Yeah...could be. I heard it was because their eyes were still developing. They need to do more research on it, though. There was an article that said the 3D was good cuz it would help identify some eye problems people could have.

s'just Nintendo covering their asses. There's no evidence of it actually doing any harm, but there're studies and whatnot going so they just went with the safe option.

I read an article about that too. But in the one I read it said eye doctors didn't find any real proof it was bad for eyes and they just made that statement just to be on the safe side. So if something really did go wrong they would be covered. I don't know what to believe anymore (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) .

Nope I didn't like it at all. I didn't like the way it fit in my hands. Which is weird because I actually have unusually small hands and stubby fingers. So I thought a smaller hand held would be better. Actually have a quite a list of things that I didn't like about it, but I am not gonna start listing all the tiny little things that bothered me. So I'm just going to plan on getting the original. But who knows maybe I will like the 3DSLite more.

I read an article where doctors said that the 3D effect might actually be beneficial, so yeah. I think Nintendo only said that as a "just in case we get sued" precaution.

Uh. Guys. Australian money is worth less than American money. (At least it was last I checked.) That's why everything seems more expensive over there. However, even with the exchange rate in mind, $60 for a DS game is ridiculous. :/

Also, if their money were worth more that means they'd be paying more than double what we are for video games. D:

Yeah I coulda swore it was less, and was wondering why if it was worth more why you guys were paying more. The only thing I can think of beating the dollar is yin, and maybe the euro? Not quite sure.

Try the pound and the euro. I don't know what yin is, but yen is currently at an exchange rate of 85 or so yen per dollar. It used to be closer to 100 yen per dollar though...
