My introduction is a tiny bit late, I registered last night but had to go to bed so...yeah. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Anyways! My name is Momo/Hamim, in our culture we usually have two names, call me whichever you like,or you can give me a nickname like others do, such Hammy, Mimi, your choice!
I'm a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge Harvest Moon fan! I don't really have any friends who are into the series, and I always thought maybe I'll join a forum or something to make friends that I can share my love for HM with. But the problem is that I never join forums anymore...I used to be in a couple quite awhile ago, but well...the family atmosphere it had before vanished and the forum died and...ok long story. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) What I meant to say is that I don't just want to make friends to talk about HM with, but to become really close friends and be able to talk about anything, IM each other and stuff. Hopefully I wont be a bother to any of you here. :)

Oh yeah, I ordered Save the Homeland because I found it for a cheap price online, I was really excited until I remembered Hero of Leaf valley is basically the same (but better) and I could've just saved my money for that instead! AUGHH!
So yeah, there you have it.

Another note, I play a bunch of other video game series as well. I'm also a big fan of the Tales series, I don't know which I love more, the Tales series of HM, oh wait, I love them both equally. I play the Persona series and...uh...ok I don't have that many series I like, but I do play a bunch of other games. They're not relevant here so I'll just stop. :)

I have never heard of a culture that uses two names. That's pretty snazzy. I like Momo because of Avatar the Last Airbender. I also named one of my cows in Harvest Moon Momo.

I have and love all those games. Besides Special Edition. I just have the normal one. That was my first Harvest Moon game ever. What was your first Harvest Moon game?

By the way yes I was wondering. Whenever someone new joins I always ask what Harvest Moon/Rune Factory games they own. That just saved me the trouble (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . Which ones are your favorite. Mine are More Friends of Mineral Town, A Wonderful Life, Frantic Farming, Rune Factory 2, and Animal Parade.

Don't worry we play other games too. So feel free to talk about them. I like Professor Layton, Zelda, Avalon Code, Mario, Pokemon and other stuff.

Haha, just as expected. Rarely anyone hears of it. I myself didn't know there were other cultures apart from mine with the same thing.
LOL! What's funny is that I named my cow in AnWL Momo and then my sister named her cow in AP Momo as well. I plan to name my other cows Momo too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I also named my farm Momo Farm. Technically...it's called MomoFarm Farm. I didn't know they added Farm for me, and since I didn't have space I put it together. I named it more after this course in Mario Kart 64 rather than myself, that place was also called Momo Farm (spelled differently I think) and I loved it because of it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

You have all of them too? Cool! 8D I tried to play Special Edition...I popped it into my PS2, played it for like 5 mins and never touched it again. Why is the Hero so SLOOOOW!?! My first one was MM. I didn't know about this awesome series until that came out. :(

Haha, I'm glad you were wondering that, or else I'd feel a little silly. I don't have a favorite yet, and I hate picking favorites too, I feel like I'm leaving the others out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) But I suppose it's Animal Parade because I heard you can have two kids and your family actually helps you out. Also, people celebrates you birthday! I had no idea! My real birthday is March 23, and in the game it's Spring 25, which for me is the same as March 25 since that's basically when spring starts. Oh wait, what was I saying again? Oh yeah! All of a sudden the mayor came and we had a small party. I was sooo happy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I still have the gifts they gave me! I also love a lot of the bachelors! But yeah, AP has a bunch of things I like, and the game doesn't end!

AWL is one of your favorites? I don't like that game much, nor do I ever play it anymore.I find it way too depressing since it's so realistic and people die and whatnot. I hate the ending (though I haven't reach it), I hate my husband because he's useless and I don't like any of the bachelors, my cows wont give me milk, my chickens look like zombies, I'm poor, can't cook, my horse hates me, and the villagers are depressing! The only thing I like about that game is my child and puppy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Why thank (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) . I love my username so it makes me happy when others do too. Momo is a great name for a cow. When they add the "farm" at the end for you I sometimes use the name "that one". So when people say it they're like "aren't you the farmer from That One Farm? I just think it is really funny (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) .

Yeah AP added so many great features. But it is still so hard to choose favorites. I think I have like five or more. I didn't know people cerebrated your birthday so I just went to sleep. Turns out I went to bed so early I didn't get the event. That was so lame when I found out about it later.

AWL was the first Harvest Moon I ever played so it is special to me. Also I liked how people aged and stuff. They were interesting too. But I like to original more than Another Wonderful Life. All the guys were weird in one way or another. I married Marlin though. Cause I hated him least and I wanted my kid to be a farmer. Nami is my favorite girl. Ugh my horse hated me too -_-. I even planted Apples Trees just so I could have Apples since the horse is supposed to really like those. It didn't work.

I love the cuteness of MM. But my favorite part was having an actual rival. I get really competitive in games so I like competing and winning everything. So being able to compete everyday was awesome. They need another game with an official rival. Jamie was also my favorite marriage candidate. But I also really liked Blue and Dan was super funny. Dia was my favorite girl.

I really like RPGs just not with turn based fighting. I suck at that. Eh I don't think anyone will mind if you talk a lot. I don't at least. It makes it easier to reply ^_^.

Special Edition is the add-on to A Wonderful Life. Where you have male bachelors is Another Wonderful Life, and that's on Gamecube. Sorry. My eyes may have deceived me but it looked like that got messed up.

Ah! MM is oozing with cuteness! I love how everyone looks so chibi, and it's all just very cheery to me! As soon as I walk out of my house I see people all over the place, which makes me happy. I lived at that small property near Blue's place that you get at the beginning, so yeah. I never really payed attention to Jamie since nothing happened regardless of how many things I shipped, so I kinda forgot about him/her. Poor Jamie. :( I liked basically all the guys. But the only I really loved would be Alex, Basil, Blue and...yeah. I don't have a favorite girl, but I liked Alan, Ellen (was that her name?), Lyla, Niina (she's so cuuute!) and some others. But I hated Gina for some reason. I wanted to kick her out of that place. Luckily I never witnessed any rival scenes (minus the one with Eve), or else I would've been even more ticked off.

I hate turn based battle systems. I'm not good at fighting in the first place so I just hack and slash while killing the A button, but that's impossible in turn based games. What I hate more than that are those checker-like battles. The ones where you move your entire party to a spot and then press start or something. I remember when I tried playing Fire Emblem I was freaking out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I made this list of like 20 farm names that I go and look at whenever I can't think of what to use. Most of them are pretty lame and unoriginal but it helps me come up with something. I liked how in Animal Parade they have a bunch of those default names you could choose from. I used a default name for the farm in both my files.

I can't remember why I went to bed so early. Maybe I had already used all my stamina so I just decided to go to sleep? But I do remember that was the day I got five hearts with Kathy and she asked my character on a date. I was so angry she didn't even notice it was my birthday and yet was asking my poor guy out. I had a boy file first and then made a girl file.

If you don't befriend the rival they can't ever get married. Even if you are married you can still keep couples from getting together. I don't like Luke and Selena as a couple either. I joke that she and Chase make a better couple. Since they work together everyday and are both kinda jerky (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . Yeah Luna and Gill are a weird couple too. But I couldn't see Gill going well with any of the girls really.

No! That's the worst part. For some reason my sister's horse loved her. I was so upset over that. She didn't even treat her horse well. Se rode it in the rain and forgot to feed it sometimes. And yet it still loved her. Why did my horse hate me so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-gonk.gif) . Rock is so the easiest. But I really disliked him. He was lazy and after he aged he seemed like one of those creepy perverted old men. I liked Ruby and Tim. It is too bad no one notices your marriage very much.

I like Gina more in Save the Homeland, but I like her most in Hero of Leaf Valley. But Dia is still my favorite in those games too. Eve was my least favorite girl. She talked too much about being older than the main character. I love her Grandpa though.

I'm the same way. The only turn based game I can play is Paper Mario. I love those games. But yeah those checker type things are horrible I have no idea what I'm doing. Plus when there are all those different classes. I didn't know what was good or bad. And It was just way too much going on. Hacking through enemies is much better for me.

Welcome to the forum, things are a tad slow now but school will do that to any forum.

My suggestion is to try and post in different areas of the forum so everyone will get to recognize you. This is a pretty friendly place with quite a few really good people.

It's interesting that you're from Bangladesh, you never think that so many countries have atleast someone interested in, especially, something like Harvest Moon.

And please, continue to talk a lot, it's annoying when people respond with a one sentance response, you're like me, I always end up going on, but how else would people get to know you?
