Does anyone else think there might be rivals in Oceans? Because Odette is with James in that picture.

Well there might not be since there are more female marriage candidates then male ones. But maybe the only reason the girls are more then the guys is because of few "special" girls. Then there would be enough pairs to make rival couples. I hope there are. I like rival couples. But they don't usually have rivals in RF games (only RF2 had them).

If so, it's probably the first "main" girl in the series I've actually liked. Of course, I know very little so that could still change.

I like ALL the main girls a lot, but somehow I end up marrying someone else. They just can't stand the rivalry.

I liked Mist, and I heard Mana was the same. And I liked Mist, so.... I don't know about the orange-head in RF3, though. I'm so glad I decided to get RF games for my birthday, I'll be so much more up-to-date.

Shara is pretty similar to Mist/Mana. I want these girls to different then the typical RF main heroine. Since I don't the current ones all that much...

Yeah that girl is one of the latest bachelorettes to be shown. The other is a purple haired rich girl. That makes five female marriage candidates and a grand total of one male marriage candidates officially shown. I want to see more characters.

Well since they are transported to a new world they don't need to have amnesia. All the other guys had to have it so they (and the player) didn't know what was going on. But if they have never been in the this new world they are already confused enough. But I don't know for sure if they have amnesia or not.

Well, they do differ, if you look closely. Mist is pretty much a cloud cuckoo lander (which was shown right at the introduction), Mana is a lively girl with a merchant instinct (hereditary) and teaching ambitions.

As I've said, for me the problem was always with other bachelorettes overwhelming the main girls. Mist is cute, and voiced by Ami Koshimizu to boot - but there's also Tori, Melody and Rosetta... Then, Mana who is even cuter and voiced by Nana Mizuki to boot - but there's also Dorothy and Yue... And as much as I like Shara, there's little chance for her in the presence of... screw it, I'd probably have to list half the female cast here. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

True. There are so many marriage candidates in Rune Factory games. So even though someone is really good they're just not as good as so many of the other girls.


(Why couldn't they have brought Tori back in RFF? And those letters don't count. They just make it worse (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif) )

Well, they invented a hotter librarian, so I guess poor Tori went out the window. Although I do like girls like her. Still, Cinnamon was quiet and not very talkative as well, so probably they just didn't want to place many similar characters. RFF "casting director" was cheating enough without it. Yeah but I wouldn't have given the fact the didn't bring Tori back a second thought if they didn't add in those letters. They are so cute and it's so sad when she sends you one after you get married (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif) . I can't remember what it said, but I remember really wishing I could have married her instead.

I think they should have made it so Tori could have been wooed through mail and then she moved into the village after you completed the requests she gave you, and then you could marry her.

I hope they make the forge a cross between RF3's forge and RFF's forge system.

I agree. I was so hoping that was possible. But like Hunter said there were already girls that took Tori's place.

I think I like living in a tree better (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . I kinda want the house to be on your own little island. But I doubt that's how it's going to be. I'm sure it would get inconvenient.
