Can you have kids in Rune Factory 3?
How is it triggered? What do you need? Any new furnitures? |

I just looked it up for you and found some news for myself. X'D
*Copies and pastes* After being married for a month or so. Speak to your wife and she will tell you that she's having a baby. Your wife will ask if you prefer having a boy or girl, or doesn't matter. Which option you pick will determine the gender of your child. After three weeks or so, talk to your wife and she will collapse and you will have your baby deliver. Once this event occurs the game will skip a year. You can also have three children, apparently. EDIT: Here's a video with events. It's in Japanese.... But it's by our Nurse Fin! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rja5izKecH4 |

Sorry. You probably do. But I haven't really kept up with the game much and the FAQ didn't say otherwise, and I won't own it until my birthday or something. You'll have to wait until someone else who knows more tells you. D'X
Watching the video, I remember the two girl sprites looking the same, so.... |

The sprites are the same for every boy/girl. Apparently, so are the voice actors (at least, in the original: ). However, you can choose from several personalities.

Getting to listen to Ami Koshimizu's voice, in the original. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
Define benefits, really. I don't recall a single HM/RF game where a child could be a certain benefit to the character (maybe RF2 alone, where having children proved IMMENSELY beneficial for Kyle's own good (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ). At lest, here they grow fast and you can fully interact with them. The first RF didn't even allow THAT. I doubt you can take your kids with you in dungoens, although that would be interesting. |

So you can have three children. But there are only two styles? So that means two of your kids are going to be exactly the same? Unless you have all of one gender then you'd have three perfectly identical children. Is that really how it is? Because that's kinda weird.

I'm pretty sure it was two boys/one girl, two girls/one boy. I'm not sure, though. D'X
Do you know if they can help you out on the farm? And whenever Rune Factory has a developed child system, is when it will stop tying as a favourite with Harvest Moon. Here's to hoping for a good child system in oceans. ^-^ |

Oh will the two boys/two girls look the same? Or are there different styles to the kids. I've only seen one boy and one girl.
As far as I know the kids do not help you with anything. A good child system would be great. But RFO main characters look too young to be parents. |

QUOTE Oh will the two boys/two girls look the same? Or are there different styles to the kids. I've only seen one boy and one girl. That's the thing. Threr is one design for a boy, another for a girl. Each time you are supposed to choose from three personalities: two are common, and one is specific for the gender you've chosen. QUOTE I wish that Rune Factory will someday release Your character gets married and have kids The other marriage candidates get married and have kids Your child grows up and can marry their children And you first main char grows old and etc. And u can have grand children! Maybe they doubt it would sell. A Wonderful Life remained a one-time experiment, after all. And seeing your child court the girls is less fun to me than courting them yourself. RF2 set a good example, and remembering other JRPGs, I wouldn't mind Neverland to employ the experience of Phantasy Star 3 (which spans THREE playable generations of characters). |

if you choose a boy and a girl, only one of them will be clones. if it bothers you so much, just pretend that two of them ended up being twins...atleast the personalities will be different.
I agree that since they made it so that you can have three children in this game that they should have made three different children sprites |

Yeah it's not the fact that they are clones that bothers me. It's the fact they let you have three children and only came up with two designs. I'm not even going to play long enough to have three kids though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . I don't ever stay married in for long in HM/RF games. Unless I have to.

Although I heard rumours describing all the nightmare of Mist's jealousy.. I have to see it to believe it. |
