Aww man, he is? Nuts! Ithought he was Black exclusive. But still, Black City and a more modern look to certain places wins me over. Mainly Black City and the many trainers. But there are still many more trainers in White to battle daily...this will be a tough choice. I do like the legendary better in White, too.
Oh and it's okay, but Wargle is way better. I've never liked vultures anyways. |

The eagle is also a White Exclusive. The vulture is a Black one.
What about . . . the fluffy, cottony, grass type? |

Oh yeah, I know that. And I'm sad about it, too.
Oh! I like that little guy. He looks cool. Though I doubt I'll use him, I still want him. |

That's the first Black exclusive you like. Are you sure want Black just for Black City? You don't care much for the exclusives. Not the main game exclusives, anyway. |

You can also just trade the Pokemon you want, no?
And I remembered that the Reshiram is in Black, not White. Yay~ No swapping needed. *Happy* I've no idea what will be in party.... Except maybe Chillarmy, but for some reason I see him less adorable than before. X'| I LIKE THE OLD POKEMON. *Sooks* Why can't they be available from the start? Ah well. |

It depends. You'd either need a friend willing to trade with you, be completely comfortable with wi-fi trading, or do what I do and get both versions and have 2 DSes.

Crystal: You have made me rethink my choice. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Black City doesn't sound all that worth it. I like the Pokemon exclusive to White more than the ones for Black. Including the legendary.
And I'm comfortable trading through wi-fi or with you guys. :D I also have a cousin that'll buy the game. Not sure which version he is getting... And I'm actually glad that you can only catch generation 5 Pokemon at first. Will make me try out completely new Pokemon! |

Well, if you're only going to buy one, you need to be completely content with the one you buy. =3
Thought I'd help out. |

It's just Black City has so many more trainers to battle daily and there are tons of items for you to buy. I always end up with so much money that I need to spend it on stuff.
But White Forest offers many catchable Pokemon and two free items a day. Hmm...well I have tons of time to decide. I'll keep thinking. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) And you did help! |

This topic's been quiet for too long. So, I'm gonna post something.
I found this move when I was checking out the new attacks on Bulbapedia: "Body Purge It cuts off useless parts of its body. It sharply raises its Speed and makes its weight lighter." Yeah . . . Who thinks there's no way NoA's letting that move through intact? I wonder how they'll change it so that it's 'kid-friendly.' |

Crystal: (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Ha! I think they'll call it something like "Thin-out" or something. Not sure on the description. "Drops extra weight"...
Did you guys get your Mew? In HG and SS, that is. *needs to go and get his* |

Aauuuurggghh. I can't name name my Mew so it has to have ridiculous capital letters for its name, and to make things even better it has a nature that weakens its special attack. If anyone isn't planning on raising their Mew and it has a neutral or defense/sp. defense reducing nature, lemme know for swapsies and you can have an item thrown in.

So, I just swung by Gamestop's website to see if they had a price set, because I like to pay for my games ahead of time so I can just walk in and pick them up. It says the games are going to be $34.99 a piece. I was expecting them to be more . . .
Also, I've been looking at translations for the pokedex data in these games. Funny stuff some of it . . . but then some of it is rather disturbing. I'm wondering if all of it will make it through localization intact. |

You were expecting them to be more expensive, Crystal? $34 seems about right for all new DS releases. I wonder if you can use the Pokewalker with this game?

$35 dollars, Oscar, not $34. I was expecting it to be more around forty dollars, which seems more like to going rate for popular new releases.
I doubt it. The PokeWalker probably isn't equip to handle the new Pokemon. |
