Yeah, me aswell, I'm anemic, and they were surprised my doctors never noticed.

I've been like this for years now, the fibromyalgia causes tiredness and no matter how much you sleep you still feel tired, so I've been like this since I was like 10, so I don't remember anything different.

What's funny is that my dad's boss has to give blood because he has TOO MUCH iron in his blood, and he actually offered to give me some of his blood... Which sounds so weird but he wasn't joking lol. But I'll probably have to get blood transfusions because it gets the iron into you quicker.

I've also always been someone who worries and never lets anything out, like builds things up, and I always feel like a nervous feeling but that's always been me. My mom has been so sick for so long that it's hard not to worry about her, and just being relied upon for things and having so much responsibility makes it hard.

That's good that your mom feels better after that.

I actually got a phone call this morning that I'll actually be going to the EEG scan {brain waves... strobe lights... gahhh} tomorrow morning instead of October 1st, I guess they had a cancelation and my doctor requested that I should be seen much earlier.. Which kind of scares me. Supposedly it takes over 40 minutes, which I'm not looking forward to, since supposedly it's very uncomfortable and the strobe lights {which I believe are used to either offset a seizure.. But they're basically those lights that will give someone a seizure... Like flicking the lights on and off really fast}, and supposedly a bunch of other really uncomfortable things go into it.

Btw, forgot to say in my previous post... Ugh, Chicken, that must've been horrible... Were you alone when you were bitten? Did the dog have to be put down?

EEGs aren't that uncomfortable. Unless you meean just annoying. I had one before they found out it was just my wisdom teeth giving me horrible migraines. The strobe light is a pain in the rear, but it's only on for a short part of the test.

Also, I was with one of the neighborhood kids. She was able to dash under the table, but I was too late. My grandma came out on the porch to sweep, saw me, and got my mom (who just had TMJ surgery). My mom pulled the dog off, and I was taken to the hospital. And, yeah, the dog had to be put down. They had to analyze it's brain (or whatever it is they analyze) to see if it had rabies. Thankfully it didn't. I wouldn't have appreciated 8 rounds of injections in my stomach.

Sorry I never replied to your post, wow, you're very lucky it didn't have rabies. Although it's too bad it had to be put down but there's usually something wrong if it just bites people.

Anyways, I did the EEG which was nice because I got to lay down and just have my eyes closed, minus the fact the guy messed up my hair terribly, it was okay.

They got the CAT scan results back and it came back clear but my doctor's secretary didn't know how to read the EEG results but she hasn't phoned us back yet. -.-

Buut, I had another seizure a couple days ago now, it wasn't a full blown one {I didn't black out}, and the shaking went away in about 45 minutes but I was super scared that it was going to happen again. My mom's nurse said that since I've now had another one it might mean that this may become a regular thing.
I've been feeling pretty crappy the past couple days and I get pretty shakey at night but there isn't anything I can do about it right now. Which sucks because this is making me put off a bunch of things because I don't want to start a new job or anything when I could have a seizure without warning. Bleh.

{Lol, national talk like a pirate day? }

I still think it might have to do with me iron and me not sleepin'. I just looked it up and not getting enough sleep plus the extremely low iron {which means not enough oxygen getting to the brain}, so hopefully once I get my iron back up {which can take 3 months as you probably know}, things will be better. God, I really hope lol, I do not want to have to worry about having a seizure at any time.

I totally didn't do that. I don't think it would be appropriate in this thread... >_>

And, yeah. Let's hope. My mom was a lot better when she got her iron restored.

Okay, so my EEG hasn't come back yet... When it should've been back along with the CAT scan but oh well... I just want to get this over with.
My doctor phoned today telling us everything about the CAt scan, like no swelling anywhere and only my sinuses were swollen... Lol, which isn't surprising because my allergies are always bugging me.

Did your mom get any other symptoms besides being tired all the time?
