This story reminds me of the old books I used to get from the library. Instead of one long story I got books that were a collection of many short scary stories. And this is scary without any unnecessary gore or stuff like that. So this is just my style (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaevil.gif) . I don't think you need to continue it. I like when scary stories are left sorta open-ended.
