The Incredible Group: Veterans Joined: 13-October 09  |
It's not far away or perhaps it's already begun what with Japan time and all but let's discuss the Japanese equivalent of E3. It may not be as well covered over here as E3 was but are there any particular announcements you're looking forward to? This time I'm pretty sure there'll be news on Versus and Agito XIII so I'm mainly looking forward to that.
There's already a huge commotion over the new Devil May Cry trailer that was shown. A lot of people are upset over the change but I'm going to wait and see until we find out more about the game to make a judgement on that. I am concerned however that it's by the same devs who did Heavenly Sword and not Capcom themselves. |

A lot of new stuff already. Capcom got off the mark early and announced stuff before the actual event - The guy in the new DmC trailer has been confirmed as the original Dante in his youth, the game is a prequel to the rest of the series apparently. Capcom have also announced Asura's Wrath which looks pretty awesome and is being developed by CyberConnect2.
ATLUS have released another trailer for Catherine which I was excited enough about after seeing the first trailer but now I really can't wait. It seems like a Persona-esque game but a little more mature. Also Valkyria Chronicles 3 will be on the psp and the Shadow of the Colossus/ICO PS3 HD re-release that I was hoping would be confirmed at E3 was confirmed today. |

Im only a fan of the game style and gameplay, so that trailer was amazing. If I had been a fan of the series and Dante from the start that probably would have pissed me off as well.

I guess so. Was hoping for some more stuff, at least. I think they only announced some "My Garden" game for the 3DS.

Now for Capcom to announce Megaman Legends 3. Yep, any day now....
The new Agito and Versus XIII trailers haven't made it online yet but sources say they're pretty short and that the Versus one pretty much puts the Behemot fight from the leaked screenshots in motion. Square will hold a press conference for both on January 11th so here's hoping we get at least a minute there. Also there have been rumours flying around that Tifa Lockheart will be the next confirmed character for Dissidia 012 |

Versus and Agito XIII trailers have been leaked. Not a lot to see but it's nice to get something new. I know it's a post war world but I hope Versus XIII's map isn't always this barren and lifeless, that and the fact that people only seemed to live in like two cities kinda annoyed me in XII.
Disgaea 4 has also been announced and it's still keeping things pretty much the same. I hate the vampire trend but I have to admit the main character looks very cool and I'm doubting he sparkles in the sunlight. Now Konami, just announce Suikoden VI so we can all go home |
