Wow, I really like these final transformations for all the starters, actually.

I think the grass snake's one is awesome. So majestic.

The otter's second form is okay, but then the final form is awesome and completely different than expected! Very cool.

And then there's the pig. The second form I love. I think it's funny. Pig looks like he's wearing a wrestling uniform. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) And then in the third form he turns into this awesome butt-kicking pig...on fire! Though I wish he kept his smile, haha.

I think this generation is the best of them all, so far!

Not a ###### chance. Generations 1 & 2 were the best. But... I will give this generation credit for having a couple of interesting new pokemon designs. *coughUnlikeGeneration3cough* The otter's pretty well-designed from what I see. And having a fire-pig is amusing at the least.

I liked the Gen 1, 2, and 4 starters better though. :/ Go go Empoleon!

I have to agree with Mizuki. It might just be a combination of getting older and nostalgia talking but Gen 1 and 2 are the best and everything since has gotten progressively worse (Gen 3 is still ok though)

Oh I love generation 1 and 2! My favorite starter is in generation 1. Though to me this is the first generation where I actually really like all the starters. Generation 1 was close, but Venesaur didn't really catch my attention much. It's just that I'm really liking a lot of these Pokemon. I haven't really completely hated one. Maybe one...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

We'll see how it goes, though!

I'm still waiting for official confirmation on the starter evolutions before I make any decisions. First they were real, then fake, now supposedly real again. =/

I think the starter evolutions going around right now are fake. Bulbagarden just reported this from an interview:

"There was also talk this time about dividing the three starters into Japanese, Western, and Chinese styles of design. Tsutarja was based on Western design, and Pokabu was rooted in a Chinese style, so I was told, "Let's make Mijumaru into a more Japanese-style design." Someone even asked, "Can't you make Mijumaru into a samurai?" [laughs]"

Also:

"I worried about it for a while, and I eventually went to go see the sea otters at the aquarium. I happened to catch the sea lion show while I was there, and I became aware of the sea lion's power. "Well, let's try blending a sea otter and a sea lion," I thought. I came up with the idea of making the shell on Mijumaru's stomach into a sword (katana) and using it to fight, and that's how I completed Mijumaru and its evolution."

They don't really fit, do they? I could be wrong, but . . .

Well Samurai is the way I wanted Mr. Otter to go, so maybe being fake is a good thing, but I love his second form. Either way, Im happy.

Also, I guess you can only pray the last forms are fake. I actually like the pig last form though.

It seems a lot of people still do think the last forms are fake. I think the main problem people had was because of the final evolutions anyway since they all looked similar to other Pokemon, the second forms all looked pretty convincing.

I'm convinced they're real now though, seems unlikely they'd reveal the real second forms but not the final ones

The water monkey looks cool, look how mellowed out he is, doubt it's any good in battle but I may use one depending on when in the game you get them

Yeah, I'm glad there's another cat. And that mushroom Pokemon that looks like a Pokeball might be a cool Pokemon.

Third form is what looked the weirdest to me on Otterface. Just looked out of place, but I dont know.
