So, I'm reading Twilight: New Moon. Who wants to shoot me? I blame my Korean exchange student for getting me "sanely" interested in the series.

I don't try to kidnap Rob Pattinson or Taylor Lautner. Or hit Team Edwards with shovels. I can actually return to reality after putting the text down. *wants to go watch Vampires Suck*

How do you feel about it so far? I remember when I was reading it looong ago before it got popular... I actually didn't think it was that bad. :B

Eeep! So I forgot to say that yesterday, I bought Mockingjay... Which is the last book in the Hunger Games trilogy. It's really amazing so far. >w<

I hated the ending of Mockingjay. It was disappointing to me. Actually, Mockingjay is my least favorite of the three books. Another thing about the end...I like Gale about 100x more than Peeta, but I would rather have had Gale die in the end than what actually happens.

The only time I ever read is if I am forced to by a teacher or parent. I have recently lost faith in reading. The last few books I've read really disappointed and frustrated me. So now I just don't want to waste time reading a bad book again.

I do have favorite books though. I love the The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett and this mystery book called And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. But other than those I can't remember liking any books I've read. Besides really short children books that I loved when I was a little girl.

I'm also reading Genius Wars at the same time... This is the only book series that I've actually bought all the books that are out. owo;

I haven't finished the book yet, but I read spoilers for the ending before it came out. Heheheh.

Ewwy. I don't like Gale at all. I like Peeta 1012434565445xinfinity times more than him. DX
Guh. He's just like, kind, and gentleeee. And like just freaking amazing as hellll.
It's kind of weird to me that Gale even left such an impression on people before Mockingjay, since he never really did anything at all, other than be the classic "childhood friend" figure that almost all heroines end up with. :\

Pffft. But ack. I hate what happens to Peeta. It's so cruel of SC. I mean, I like the ending. Heheheh. But what happens on the way is just soooo not right.

Spoiler:
He didn't deserve what happened to him because he already gave so much for Katniss and wanted to be with her so badd... But then BAM. He gets taken by the Capitol. And gets like, mind raped cause of her. Ugh. It actually made me cry, that one page where he asks Katniss "And did you love me?"

Oh oh. And, that time when Johanna says that she could hear him screaming from his cell. Ugh. Just ugh.

Fffff. Oh well. At least the ending was slightly favorable for me.

I hope all the Team Hawtness fangirls are happy that Peeta's basically sorta ruined, despite the good ending. :B

A little advice to people who hate repetitive books (like me) DO NOT READ THE ALCHEMIST! So much repetition it made me wanna barf. I do, however, recommend Anthem. So far, the only book I was forced to read, that I actually liked.

Omfg. I have next to no words to describe how I feel about it.

I didn't like it very much. It felt lacking somehow, and really didn't answer any questions that the first two books lead up too. It seemed more "meh" than anything else, really. The best moment in the book had to be when Finnick is in just his underwear and says something like "Why- do you find this- distracting?" Then later Boggs says "Don't expect us to be too impressed. We just saw Finnick Odair in his underwear." LOL

It answered pretty much everything for me- it was realistic, and basically showed the effects of the Hunger Games, of the war... That's all I was curious about, really. Oh, and she ended up with someone, sooo... Yeah. I'm not sure why it wasn't as good as the previous two books for some people... Unless Katniss didn't end up with who they wanted her to end up with. X'D

Did you maybe not like it cause it was more emo-ish? ROFL. I felt so sad reading it, where when I was reading the other two, it wasn't so hard to go on. ;x

Going to start reading Gone Baby Gone tonight. Really looking forward to it.

I started Phantom of the Opera the other night, but with English class starting right up it seems I'll have to set it aside for the moment. A very good start to a book, though.

So now I've started Beowulf for English. It's much better than I expected it to be after referencing the very very dumb looking movie version. It's more of an epic poem, and very easy to understand. It shouldn't be too painful, no matter how dull and amazingly simple my class is.

I'm currently reading a book on 100 scientists who changed the world. It goes chronologically, and I've reached the early twentieth century. I sneaked a peak at the index, and am disappointed that there's no mention of Richard Feynman, at all.
