I'll have to get into the Dexter novels soon. My brother was reading them and got quite addicted. Of course now, I'm just curious as to what freaked you out in the first chapters of the fourth book.

Today, I started reading So Long and Thanks for All the Fish which is the fourth novel in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. Thus far I am enjoying it much more than the third which has been least favourite of the series.

I love to read, but as of late my activities have consumed what time I've put aside for it. So I can't do much about that. The last book I read was The Odyessey cause my friend told me to give it a try. It was pretty awesome, but sort of boring at some times too.

@Saffy Yeah, what I like about the Dexter books {especially after the first one}, they have hardly anything in common with what is going on in the series, there are certain aspects that are the same, but it's just like reading more of his adventures, rather than a tv show not following how the books go.
I won't say what freaked me out, but it probably gave a few people nightmares lol.

I read both novels and graphic novels.
The three books I'll be getting today in the mail are:

Ode to Kirihito part 2, MW, and Blackjack vol. 1, all three by Osamu Tezuka. <3

Tyler....Ozamu is a darn good choice *nods* have been in his museum~

*ehem* anyway as for books...I like fantasy, history novels and whatever is there :3

Right now I have only few I'm-going-down-to-my-knees-and-honour-them writers~

one of them is Terry Pratchett :3 Douglas Adams is also good~

Others are Jane Austin, Xinran and Rebecca Gable~

My recomendation? well books from them...though really really good is: "The Good Woman of China"

This book is caught me totally offguard...and left me flashed ._. it's amazingly wonderful~

Bestestestest series ever, please.

@Flapppyyyy;
Hurmmm. Go read White Cat by Holly Black. You might like it. MIGHT. :>

@Mr. Bear;
If you liked Gregor, you seriously need to read HG. I can't say it's better than Gregor, but it's pretty darn good. :'>

WHITE CAT?! I think you've mentioned it before. I'll check it out.

@NOV-DUDE; I haven't read anything else by her yet! It seems she's a good enough author though, perhaps I'll check out her other work.

LOL. :B
I have. It was the only book that I've read lately with a guy narrator.

Urk. So like, it was pretty good, but nothing super amazing, IMO. You might be disappointed. DX

Crystal enlightened me and they're actually graphic novels.

But anywhere! Barnes & Noble had 'em (just saw them today, too). Anywhere that sells books should have it. Even your local library will have them.

Geez, Deceit is like, in love with that guy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I have a book a lady lent me, but don't feel like reading it. I also have a Doctor Who book, and Robin Hood. But I just don't feel motivated to read any of those. I'm tempted to just go re-read something else I've already read. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Somebody needs to read Erin Hunter's Warriors series with me. I've recently been re-reading the older books to catch up, and I've just managed to catch up to the new stuff. I'd love to dicuss the events and the characters, but nobody I know reads them. =/

Eeeeeee, so I just now finished Dracula!
Sosososo amazing. I am in love with Bram Stoker.
But the ending almost made me teary. MY POOR QUINCEY. ;w;

A super read, though, if you're into somewhat dark books with a quick-moving plot chocked full of win. As of now though, I'm bookless and I might have to start reading a book by Brecht soon thanks to Theatre. OHFUN.
