Chapter Five - The Sweet(s) Bear

"So. Um. HMR... What's with that getup?" Toto asked. They were in the forest, and since there really wasn't anything of interest around, small talk had to be made.
"Oh, you mean this green tunic?"
"Yes... It looks very... Warm." Miss Kid said, touching it.
"Yeah, it kinda is. But where I come from, heros have to wear it. I'm a hero, and I was no exception."
Twi snorted. "Is everyone in your village an animal?"
"Why yes, actually." HMR said unfazed. "A dear friend of mine's name is Walbert. He's a walrus."
Around this time, they reached a bear cave. The outside was decorated with paintings of various kinds.
"Wow. There's a very creative bear living here. Who knew?" Zboy said amazed.
"I knew." A voice boomed from the inside.
"Tyler?!" HMR yelled. He ran inside the cave and was greeted by an amazing sight. Standing at the kitchen was his dear old friend Tyler, and a giant grizzly bear. They seemed to be making sweets of various kinds.
"I thought you were a bread maker?! And this bear is supposed to be eating you!"
"Calm down, Biscuit." Tyler said, taking off his chefs hat. "I like sweets too. And this guy's name is Noviwan. He wouldn't eat a fly."
"Of course not." The bear, formally known as Noviwan, spoke. "They don't taste good."

Is Tyler really a bread baker? Do flies taste good? What's with all these talking animals?

Chapter Six - Zen likes Bear Meat

"Tyler, come on. Stop making so many sweets. You'll become even more jolly." HMR said, tugging on him.
"Just call it what it is, Biscuit. I'm fat." Tyler said, finishing up a cake he was frosting.
"Okay, fine, we're going on an adventure with these people." He pointed to the gang. Tyler looked them over and started making first impressions.
"That girl with the orange hair looks weird, the blond haired next to her looks stupid, that superhero looks like a fake, and that cow girl just looks... weird."
"You used weird twice." HMR pointed out.
Tyler shrugged like this was no big deal and turned to Noviwan. "Would you like to come? We could make some food on the road."
"I can cook. Pretty well, too." Twi piped up.
"We don't trust you." Everyone resounded at the same time, except for Miss Kid who just didn't say anything.
"WHAT THE FREAK?! I don't even know half you people and you don't trust me?!" Twi yelled at the top of her lungs.
Before anyone could respond, a young brown haired woman jumped from the trees and pointed a rifle at Noviwan's head.
"Don't move, bear. I'm hungry. Now if you know what's good for you, you'll turn around and let me shoot you."
Noviwan, feeling like he couldn't refuse, did so. But just then, Tyler picked up some cake and threw it in the girl's face, splattering her. She licked it off and put her gun down.
"LOL! Much better. Thank you. My name is Zen, and since you fed me, I'll travel with you now."

Are all party members going to be this easy to get? What is this, some kinda RPG or something? And was that cake good?

No one commented and I didn't want to double post... Ah well. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) I just now got an idea for it.

Chapter Seven - Zen's Dream

"It's going to take a lot of food to feed these people... Novi, we should prepare." Tyler said to the bear. They agreed and went inside Noviwan's cave to get enough food gathered for their party.
"So where should we go first?" Twi asked.
"Well." HMR said. "I need some things from my condo in the village. Along with check up on my friend Walbert. I don't like to leave him for very long because he gets in trouble a lot..."
Twi nodded, because she did too, just a different kind of trouble.
"So your name is Zen, huh?" Toto asked Zen.
"Yep. And this is my pet duck." She pointed out a cute yellow duckling that no one noticed until now.
"Aww. How cute." Zboy reached his hand out, but Zen smacked it away. "Watch it. He eats people. I trained him myself." Zen said proudly.
No one touched the duck after that. Everyone waited in silence for a while, but good old Twi didn't like that, so she broke it.
"Sooo... Zen, do you have a dream? Surely you do. Nearly everyone does."
Zen thought about it for a moment. "Well, sort of..."
"Tell me about it! Toto and I are sisters, and we grant peoples dreams!"
Zen was quiet for a little longer, finally, she spoke. "Well... I used to have a little sister. She lived in a tank in our living room... But then one day she died. My mother burned the evidence, because the government didn't know about her... But really, that made no sense. She was born just like everyone else! My dream is to find out what happened to her."
Twi thought about it for a minute before speaking up. "Our payment to grant your dream is that you travel with us for a certain amount of time. It is certain that if you do, you will find out about your sister. Until then, Toto and I can be your sisters! I'll be your twin, 'kay?"
Zen grinned from ear to ear and nodded. "Yeah! I'll come with you guys, and definitely let you be my sisters!"

Does that duck really eat people? What happened to Zen's sister? What awaits our heros in the village?
