Chapter 1
The First Oink

"BEATLES!"
"CAMILLE DALMAIS!"
"BEATLES!"
"KANON WAKESHIMA!"
Almost every day the villagers would hear an argument similar to this, the yelling came from the owners of an old run-down farm. The two never paid much attention to their chores nor the village, which is how they've remained completely oblivious to all the strange events occurring around the village.
"Kanon what?" The girl with windswept brown hair questioned. The other poked her tongue out and crossed her arms. "Charmy, we can't continue this argument again." Charmy pouted and her eyes appeared gloomy.
"But it's so much fun! Aoi Teshima!"
"Meh. It's getting old." Charmy was about to comment back, but the door burst open and a boy wearing an orange cape called out to them.
"DANI! DANI! DANI!"
"ZBOY! ZBOY! ZBOY!"
"CHARMY!"
"Um, ahem," Dani said to her friend. Charmy grinned stupidly and Dani questioned the one called ZBoy, "What it is, Mr. Z?"
"It's HMR. He's.... he's....," a tear came to ZBoy's eye, "a pig."
"Geez. That's a bit rude, don't you think?" Dani said with crossed arms.
"I thought he was a raccoon?" Charmy asked.
"He was," ZBoy answered, "but when I passed his trashcan earlier, I saw him there. As a pig."
Charmy stared at Zboy for a long while, as did Daniella. The wind howled loudly outside. "So, the raccoon is now a pig. ....What's the big deal?" Daniella sent her palm flying into her face. Seconds after, there was tall figure standing at the door.
"Saffy?" ZBoy asked. He walked in, his face draped in tears. "Oh, mayor Saffy! What happened?"
He breathed in deeply before answering. "MY KATIE'S A PIG!!!"
The three gasped in shock, and while ZBoy started going on about HMR's pig state, Dani turned to Charmy.
"So they're both pigs? What do you think happened?" Dani asked. Charmy only shrugged.
"How about we go out to investigate? I'll go with Saffy. Daniella, go with your boyfriend."
ZBoy looked unsure for a moment and looked around as if anyone else was there to be Dani's boyfriend, when he realized it was he, he felt quite silly.

They set off to investigate, Charmy and Saffy went to Katie's house, while Daniella and ZBoy headed to HMR's trashcan.
Charmy looked all around her. Ranch Story wasn't as lively as she once remembered it to be. The sky was dark and green.... The buildings had paint crumbling off each paneling and an ominous fog lurked behind each step you took. "What's been going on around here?"
"You need to get out more." Saffy told Charmy in a most depressing tone.
"Oink. Oink." Katie the pig ran up to the two with her tiny legs and curly tail.
"What did you say about my mother!?" Saffy pushed Charmy aside and stared at Katie.
"There are more villagers who turned like this too..... Including Wonder and Rumiko.... That's why we can't even attempt taking them to the clinic." Saffy sighed while patting Katie on the head.

While at HMR's trashcan, ZBoy and Daniella were discussing what could have caused this.
"I wonder if it's the food that did this...."
"I doubt that Katie eats trash."
"Maybe the water?"
"I also drank water today and I'm perfectly fine."
"Maybe we should head to the library to check out some books. It might help us." Daniella begun to walk off. ZBoy attempted to pick HMR up, but was struggling.
"Cooooome on piggie. Come on." HMR squealed and struggled out of ZBoy's arms, jumping back into his trash pile. "Oh, whatever. I won't bring you to get better then." He stormed off after Daniella muttering.
As the two approached the library, they observed it's faded bricks and it's high-grown moss. Although it looked abandoned and empty, it still looked like it was up and running. The two entered.
"So what are we looking for exactly?" ZBoy asked Dani running his fingers along the shelves.
"Something on legends."
The two looked around the library but couldn't find anything on what Daniella was searching for.
As the two were looking at something on unicorns, someone familiar spoke up.
"Dani! ZBoy! Glad to see you two aren't pigs, Ken and I are worried sick about this whole mess."
"Crystal! You're not a pig!" gasped ZBoy.
Before they could say anything else, Dani said, "We need your help."
Dani explained what they were looking for while ZBoy nodded at her words. Crystal took them to the librarian desk and took a dusty book from one of its drawers entitled 'Legends of RS', she handed it to Dani and walked off into the shadows, as if to set a dramatic mood.
ZBoy looked at Dani as she put the book on the desk and started to sift through the pages. Looking for anything having to do with pigs.
After a few minutes of flipping through in silence, all ZBoy could think of to say was, "So.... you're my girlfriend?" He smirked and nodded his head. Oh yeah.
"Maybe there's someone in-" Charmy paused as she saw the rest in the library. "Hi guys." She smiled as she ran up to them, Saffy came in after her lugging Katie.
"So, why are we here?" Saffy questioned as he set Katie to the floor. He had sweat dropping from his face to the ground.
"Any legends on pigs."
"Well?" Daniella waved the book around a bit and shook her head.
"Nothing in here."
Crystal came back carrying a very, very, very fat pig.
"Ken~" She sobbed quietly.
ZBoy looked at the pig, "Ken....? Oh, ew." Then as Crystal started crying louder, he tried to make her feel better by pointing out Ken's whiskers, which were still there.
"Did you see when he, um, changed?" Charmy asked petting Ken on the head.
"Yes," Crystal said, ".... It was horrible. It was almost like how Oscar transformed in that werewolf incident we had last year."
"Oh, dude, that was disgusting."
Just then, a sloppy man who had a taco on his head was dragging in three other people. They all seemed just as confused as the others. Promptly, he threw tacos as Frisbees upon everyone's heads and yelled some complete nonsense about tacos.
Everyone stood there quietly looking at one another.
Daniella shifted her eyes awkwardly. "....Alright. What just happened and why do I have a taco on my head?"

Chapter 2
The Gathering of the Pigs

Everyone sat on the library's floorboards in a circle. Saffy's Katie was in his lap and the newcomers, Tolby, Totoro and Twilight, were just as confused as the others.
Daniella pointed at her head and frowned, "So explain to me again why I have this on my head."
"It's to protect you from turning into a pig."
Crystal Talian shook her head and sighed. "I'm speechless...."
Charmy was having trouble fitting her taco above her slopped top hat.
"Make sure that the taco does not fall off your heads, or else you will turn into a pig for sure." After a few attempts, Charmy gave up and just chucked it underneath her top hat. Soon, droplets of water begun to drop onto the library's roof. "What, rain?" As the pelting begun to grow stronger Totoro spoke up and asked what do we do with the villagers that have turned into pigs.
Tolby smiled narcissistically. "I could always just make them into meat!" Crystal Talian threw a big, fat book at Tolby.
"Don't be moronic. We'll have to bring all of the pigs here to the library."
"But the rain will damage our precious tacos," Oscar whined.
"I have some umbrellas and raincoats stuffed back into the storage room."
Crystal brought out the umbrellas and raincoats, making sure to keep Ken away from Tolby as she did, and handed them out. Most of everyone suited up and went out in the rain to find a village pig. While all were found, Dani and ZBoy headed to the old farm and found an old wagon in a shed, ZBoy pulled Dani in it to HMR's trashcan. The wretched raccoon pig would not depart his trash pile, and found no joy when ZBoy threw it into the wagon, he had no choice but to jump along with it.

Eventually, the library was filled with all of the village pigs. And Tolby was tied to a chair.
Twilight and Totoro busied themselves by tying name tags onto all the pigs while Crystal looked around in dismay. "Oh, why did I bring them in my library? My precious library!" Crystal's cat ears flickered as she heard a conversation stirring.
"ZBoy~ I'm starving~" Charmy whined as she started to chew on ZBoy's cape. He rolled his eyes and tugged it out of her mouth.
"Capes aren't edible. And if you are going to end up eating one, make sure it's your own." Charmy sprawled her legs out on the floor and stared at the ground. Alas, her cape wasn't made out of the colour cheese.
"Someone could go to the inn and cook us some fo-"
"I WILL MAKE TACOS FOR US ALL!" Oscar smiled brightly, it was as if a glimmering light was shining off of him.
"YAYYYYYYYY!" Dani cheered flailing her arms, but then when she noticed everyone staring at her she pulled ZBoy's cape in front of herself.
"Just how do you plan on doing that, Oscar?" Twilight asked in disbelief. Oscar stared at her and only ran outside.
Moments later he came back with a plate of tacos.
Twilight's eyes beamed. "How did you manage to do that so fast?" Charmy ran to the plate and grabbed five tacos, stuffing them down her pie hole.
All muffled, she managed to reply, "WHO CARES? I'm hungry." The rest shrugged and scarfed down some tacos. Oscar's face now beamed of pride. He was indeed The Taco King.

Dani wiped her mouth clean with ZBoy's cape, "What are we going to do about this? We can't just leave everyone as pigs."
"What's the big deal? It helps my job out." Tolby the butcher said. Crystal threw another book at him.
Charmy looked around at all the pigs. There was HMR, Katie, Rumiko, and Wonder, but it looked like to her that there was someone missing. "Where's Jason?" she asked.
"He went missing a while ago. No one has a lead on what could have happened. That's why I'm mayor now. Remember?" Charmy blushed and scratched the back of her head while laughing sheepishly.
"There are others missing too." Zboy noted.
"Once the rain goes away, we could try to go find them," Twilight suggested.
"I don't know how we could have missed one." Totoro sighed and pinched her forehead, and shockingly enough, her taco fell off her head as she did so. A tail popped out of her clothes. Everyone gasped. Oscar scurried over to the taco and gently placed it back onto her head. Tolby's eyes burst.
"crud, it works!" Totoro exclaimed. "I have a tail~" she whined.
"I want a tail," Dani complained. She sneakily reached for her taco, but ZBoy slapped her hand before she could remove it.
Saffy stood up, getting ready to be all mayor-like, "Citizens, it looks like to me that the rain isn't going to pass anytime soon, so I suggest we all get some rest for tomorrow."

Drip. Drip. Drip.
The rain continued to pelt the roof of the library all night. Mayor Saffy slept comfortably on his robe beside his Katie. Tolby was still tied in a chair, but they were kind enough to knock it to the ground so he could fall asleep. People were covered with dry raincoats or extra taco shells while the rest of the pigs just laid on the grubby floorboards.
Crystal's teeth continued to chatter as she rocked herself back and forth.
"....Crystal....?" A tiny voice murmured. "Is that you?"
"I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I'm F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-Freeeeeeeezing." There were no raincoats left and Crystal didn't want to cover herself with smelly pigs. The character crawled beside her and handed Crystal their raincoat. "T-T-T-T-Thank you."
Charmy smiled. "You're welcome. I already have a cape to wrap myself in." Randomly, she poked Crystal's forehead.
"What was that for?" She asked while wrapping herself quickly with the raincoat.
Charmy shrugged. "I dunno. Felt like it."
"What do you think caused this? Or who caused it? And why do tacos stop us from turning into pigs?"
"First off, Oscar's an intelligent nut. But all of what's been going on.... I'm not sure. I didn't even know all of this was happening until a few hours ago."
"I think the villain may be one of the missing Ranch Storians." Crystal spoke quietly.
"Jason?" She shook her head.
"Jason wouldn't do this to us. He wouldn't dare harm any of his 'fan girls'." Charmy bit her lip and curled herself beside Crystal.
Dani threw ZBoy's cape off of herself and placed it over him, as a blanket. She crawled over to a pig with tusks labeled Walbert and pushed it over to where Charmy and Crystal were, "You know what?" she said, "I think it was Tolby who did this, he wanted to butcher them anyway." Crystal looked at Charmy, who was already eyeing the sleeping Tolby. Hmm....

The morning sun never rose that day. It seemed as if the rain had never broke either. Everything woke up in a depressing state, until they found ZBoy threatening Tolby, with Daniella, Crystal and Charmy alongside him.
"What are you doing!?" Totoro called from the other side of the library.
"We think Tolby's responsible for all of this disaster!" Charmy responded with keen eyes.
"I didn't do anything. I swear! GOD."
ZBoy growled. "Don't antagonise me! You did this so you could profit with money."
"Your plan is majorly flawed though." Crystal said as she whacked his head with another book. "How did you think you were going to get away with this?" Tolby still protested, trying to explain to them that it wasn't him.
There was a loud squeal and everyone was quieted, "Thank you, Katie," Saffy said, "Everyone, calm down, I know it wasn't Tolby who did this, I know he wouldn't." He paused and the group sighed and backed away from Tolby, there was no use arguing with the Mayor. "Besides," continued Saffy, "at a time like this, we can't argue."
"What are we going to do then, Saffy?" Twi asked. Mayor Saffy squinted his eyes and glued his thinking face on, then raised his arm swiftly.

Chapter 3
The Bell

"HOW DARE YOU BETRAY US TOLBY!"
"Yeah, I didn't know you were like that!"
"I am very disappointed in you Tolby."
Saffy couldn't come up with anything better than to accuse Tolby along with the others once again. His brain was flushed.
"As I said before, it wasn't me! Give a guy a break!!" He attempted to escape the clucthes of the cheesed off villagers by shaking the chair towards the door.
"Guys! I really think Tolby's innocent. He's too much of a weasel to do this." Crystal said while holding her foot on the leg of the chair.
"Geez, thanks." Tolby responded sarcastically, Crystal just kicked the chair. "Now, instead of jumping to crazy conclusions, we need to think hard. What happened yesterday that caused everyone, but us, to turn into pigs?"
"TACOS," Oscar said proudly. Crystal started nodding and continued talking.
"Hey, Charmy," Dani started to her friend, "why didn't we turn into pigs? We didn't even hear that this stuff was happening until yesterday."
Charmy thought deeply for a moment. "Well, the pig thing only started yesterday, didn't it? But for the haunted look of the village...."
Daniella and Charmy noticed that Crystal was standing right in front of them with her head leaned in.
"Uhurrm. Sorry miss. Continue!"
She started to walk around the group of people as sergeant. Attention!
"Now, what specifically happened at that moment? When our beloved fellow villagers begun to turn to pigs?"
Everyone stood there thinking. Charmy fell to the ground from too much thought-exposure. Then suddenly, ZBoy found the answer.
"The bell tower rung at 12 O' Clock! That's what did it. I swear. Totoro, what's the time?"
"Oh no...." It all went dead silent as she read the following time, "We only have two minutes before it rings again." People begun to panic but Oscar reminded them that they have the tacos on their heads to protect them.
Charmy sighed. "Me and Daniella were arguing at the time so we couldn't have heard it."
"And I was taking one of my well-known mayor naps."
Crystal smiled, relieved. "I was listening to some music at the time."
"Me, Twilight and Tolby all witnessed HMR's transformation, then Oscar came along and smacked tacos onto our heads. Thanks Oscar."
"That's step one of this puzzle solved. ....Perhaps...." It all begun to unscrew in Totoro's head. "What would happen if these pigs hadn't heard the bell for quite some time? Would they turn back to normal?" It was as if a light bulb illuminated above Totoro's head.
"We'll have to move them to someplace where they can't hear the bell!" Zboy said. "Or even better, destroy it."
"We'll need weapons!" Charmy pushed herself off the floor and pretended to wave a sword around.

Time passed and everyone gathered up at the library once more, some wielding pans, rolling pins, graters and other cooking utensils and random odds and ends that could be considered weapons. What? It was all they could find.
"Right," ZBoy the spork wielder begun, "Let us begin our journey!" He yielded his spork towards the door in a hero's position. The rest couldn't help but laugh. "....Does anyone know where the tower is?"
"I do." Saffy said unenthusiastically. He walked out of the door at a slow pace as Charmy jumped around him cheering that they're going to finally solve the haunted mystery of Ranch Story.
They followed Saffy out of the library, leaving Tolby tied to the chair, and followed him to the Town Hall. You could hear his echoes of help, "Um, guys? Hellooo?"
The building, from what they could see, was completely empty. Mayor Saffy lead off to a room behind the counter at the back with a small door, he opened it with a green key he produced from his pocket. The small tower only had a rickety ladder in it, they all climbed up it, one after another. The bricks were old and mouldy with moss growing up. Little insects were buzzing here and there as you could hear the wind howling above the tower, hitting the bell every now and then sending it to ring with the slightest jangle.
And there they were, standing atop the bell tower, right next to the huge thing.
Twilight looked back and forth, it was so quiet up here. "Does anyone else get the feeling that this should have been harder?"
Totoro hesitantly begun to poke the large bell with her sweeper broom. Static sparked around the bell and her broom, sending it flying out of her hands. "Umm.... Okay.... what just happened?"
Saffy pondered this and touched the bell with the tip of his index finger, "It appears there is an invisible field around it. We can't destroy it with weapons like these."
ZBoy threw his spork on the ground angrily and pounded his foot on the floor, "DARN IT. I brought this for nothing!"
Charmy frowned. "So I suppose we'll need to move the pigs away now, right?" She smacked her head with her pan, she didn't want to have to go through that much work. Saffy begun to descend the tower as he noticed disaster. He saw a small, shadowy figure all the way down the long, narrow hole.
"No!" He yelled in distress, falling down and grasping tightly against edge. The person down below had snapped the ladder sending it to fall slowly to the floor. Everything stared down gloomily when ZBoy headed to look over the vast expanse. He spotted a girl with long, purple hair running.
Dani looked at the others, "What do we do now?"

Chapter 4
The Not-So-Mysterious Stick Eater

Twilight pulled Saffy up from the tower's hole and wiped the sweat off her forehead. "I suppose we'll have to find another way down."
"And how in taco's name are we going to do that?" Charmy asked, still hitting her head with her pan. Twilight rolled out some rope from the steeple's hand reel. "Since the bell's indestructible, we may as well use this to climb down with." She threw a long stream off the side of the tower and plummeted down it. Everyone followed, damaging their hands badly with rope burn. Charmy only bit her hand before asking for some ice. They all gathered to the Inn.

The Inn, like everywhere else, was empty. There was dust gathered onto the tables, so they knew no one had been in it for a while. Totoro dusted down a table and everyone sat around it.
"That barrier.... what was up with it?" Crystal questioned.
"Apparently someone put it onto the bell, after they cursed it, knowing someone would try to destroy it," Saffy said all mayor-like.
"Who do you think did it?" Dani asked after a small sequence of silence.
ZBoy sat there confused. "I saw a girl with long purple hair running as the ladder broke. She looked a bit like...."
Charmy curled herself tightly onto her chair, she looked like a hermit. "Mizuko has purple hair."
Everyone gasped all dramatically, but Charmy interrupted, "I don't think she was the one who cursed the bell though. Mizuko wouldn't know how to do something like that."
Crystal frowned. "Why would Mizuko turn against us?"
"Well," Saffy begun, "She did get annoyed that one time when Lenyo ignored her."
"And the time when it took me about a month to finish her a picture." Charmy rocked her chair back and forth. ZBoy told them that his Phat Phamphlet Phighter must be making rash decisions to turn back on us for such small reasons.
"I think I saw her running into the forest, so her base might be there," he continued.
"We should try to go find her then," Dani said. Everyone agreed.

After everyone had a glass of milk, which surprisingly was still good, they all went out in search of Mizuko. But they could hear something in the distance that stopped them on their journey to the deep woods.
"Is that the train?" Saffy questioned, turning to the train tracks. Even when squinting, he couldn't see anything.
"But the train hasn't been active in so many months." Zboy remarked walking closer to the train station.
"I see something!" Daniella ran and waited at the platform. She pointed at a ghostly shape that was emerging. "That can't be a train though, can it?" The chugging grew louder as made ghostly noises.
ZBoy ran up onto the platform and leaned past Dani, and looked down the track, "I-I-I think it is!" he exclaimed. The chugging grew louder and louder as the others appeared on the platform as well, then WOOSH. The train shot down into the station. ZBoy was just in time in pulling Dani and himself out of the way.
They all looked up curiously at the ghost train. It had an eerie mistlike glow about it. Oscar was the first to take a step closer, he knocked on the train's door. There was a clanking sound and it opened.
A man with black hair and face piercings jumped off the train in the coolest way, despite the fact that he had goosebumps all along his arms. Saffy's pupils dilated as he called his name.
"Chris!?"
"Did my good looks scare you Saffy?" He flicked Chris's head and smirked.
"Well anyway, what the helk happened to our train?" He gazed upon the village after asking this and noticed it wasn't as bright as it used to be. The tree's no longer blossomed with leaves and the buildings were growing with moss. "Dude. Next time, send me a text about what's been going on or something when I'm on vacation."
"UH," started Daniella, "We really don't know what's going on in the town either." Chris gave her a look and she continued on to explain what's happening and where they were going.
"Pig villagers?" he repeated stroking his beard, "And you're going to follow that girl into the forest? Well on the way back here I thought I saw some place in the forest, there was a little hill which had some carving on it."
ZBoy nodded, "We could probably get there faster if we rode the train." As he said that, the train let out a cloud of steam, hissss.
"Well, come on aboard you taco-wearing freaks!"As they all took their first step on, they shuddered at the thought of this train. Which also happened to be playing some elevator music. They all sat on their misty seats in pure silence until Oscar asked who was driving the train. Chris shrugged. "I don't know. It just goes." Oscar placed a taco on his head.
"You better wear this just in case. Doesn't hurt to be careful." Chris was not amused. Now he just looked like all the other fools. Daniella and ZBoy sat together at the front of the train, they were displeased when Charmy decided to jump on their laps and lay down on them.
"Comfortable yet?" Daniella asked. Charmy rolled around and nodded. "Geh."
Twilight was glaring out the window onto the meadow. The area was filled with dead flowers, they begun to pan across it. "I think we're moving guys." Twilight tapped the glowing window. "You know, I have the feeling that we forgot something." They still all had their weapons. And even an extra taco Oscar made them stuff in their pockets. What was it that they were missing?

They forgot Tolby.

"HOW COULD YOU FORGET TOLBY!?" Saffy boomed at them all.
"Well, we just forgot, he was all tied up and everything," whined Oscar.
"Calm down Saffy, it's just Tolby," Chris said. Saffy plopped down onto one of the seats and said nothing more.

Soon enough, they were in the forest, the phantom train stopped as Chris pointed into the bounty of trees. "This is where I saw it." They all departed the train and hiked into the woods. It was dark. The trees were dying and spiders were crawling all over. Vines continued to grow all across the ground, and oddly enough, the rain stopped falling as they encountered the miniature cliff Chris told them about before. Crystal walked by it and spotted a small crack in the wall and ran her finger around it. "This looks to be in the shape of a door." She tried pushing it open, but it was no use, it wouldn't shove an inch.

Snap.
The group all turned at the sound of this. "Hello?" ZBoy called out. Snap. "Who's there?"
"Could that be Mizuko?" Oscar whispered as lightly as he could. Totoro shrugged and looked around, Twilight, though, did otherwise.
"Mizuko? Is that you?" she called, pushing to the front of the group.
"D'aww, how'd you know it was me?" Mizuko whined. She came from the shadows holding a stick, which she'd broken twice already.
"I saw you running off after you broke the ladder. Why are you holding a broken stick?"
"Did you know that sticks are high in nutrition? Daniella told me a long while ago." She tried biting it again but it tasted feral.
"..... Why did you break the ladder?"
"I was told to." Oscar ran up to her and rubbed his hands on her temples.
"Are you brainwashed or something?" She shook her head and threw the stick back, which happened to hit Oscar in the face. Twilight demanded to know who corrupted her.
".... I can't say. Sorry." The group was dumbfounded. How could their enemy be so friendly to them? And believe that sticks are edible? "He requested me not to tell anyone about his devious plan."
"So it's a he?"
Mizuko paused then sighed. "Aw, crud."
"Can you open this door for us Mizuko?" She shook her head and responded that it can only open from the inside. Crystal hit her head against the rocky door repeatedly. "Come ooon. We were so close."
"I suggest you go back to the village, I would let you in for tea, but the boss doesn't allow party guests."
"What would happen if we stayed here and refused to move?" Saffy prompted, eager to strangle this villain.
Mizuko shook her head again. "Please don't. The boss said that he'd leave me out here to die if he had to. So I suggest you all go home. We're planning on invading the village soon anyway!" The group all glared at one another.
"Were you not meant to tell us that?"
Mizuko stood there with a blank face. "Um, no, I wasn't." She paused for a moment, "Well, bye!~" And she skipped off in hope that the boss would let her back inside soon.
"What're we going to, Saffy?" Totoro asked.
"The only thing we can do. Prepare for the invasion."

Chapter 5
The Invasion

The survivors all gathered to the train and traveled back to the library, they untied Tolby after he promised not to cook up any pigs and explained the situation to him.
"I can't believe you forgot me.... But anyway, it seems obvious that we need to practice our skills in using our, uh, weapons. And we're also in need of some armour, if they're invading."
"We may also need to hide the pigs," Chris suggested, really just wanting to rid that smell, "Maybe in the storage."
"They'll all be piled up one after another, y'know. But I suppose we don't have time to relocate...." Crystal replied wistfully. They begun to shove one pig after another into the storage, Katie squealed in distress as Saffy reluctantly chucked her to the top of the pile. They managed to close the door, yet it seemed to bulge out every few moments.
"Where do we get our kick-arse armour?" Twilight asked imagining herself in layers of shiny metal. Shiiiny. "We don't have a blacksmith to forge anything for us because he was turned into a pig...."
"Perhaps we could-"
"No." Daniella interrupted Charmy. Charmy complained that she didn't even hear her idea. "I don't care. NO."
"But-"
"No."
"I swear I thought it through!" Daniella rolled her eyes and gestured her to fill our heads with wonderful ideas. "How about we make TACO ARMOUR!" Oscar was the only other one who was amused by this idea and prompted that they go make some taco armour right away. But all the others refused to do so.
"Well then," Oscar argued with a pouted face, "What are we meant to make our armour out of then?"
".... Card.... board?" Totoro boldy suggested.
"Mayors should know what to do in these cases." Chris complained. "It's one of the only things they're helpful for."
"HEY. I DO PLENTY, THANKS." Saffy shouted.
"Well then, Mr. Mayor, what do we do?"
Saffy stroked his imaginary beard and tapped his foot lightly on the ground. "Peer pressure, much."
"YAY. WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE." Chris whailed in Saffy's direction.
Crystal rolled her eyes at this pitiful argument. "Guys. We're about to be invaded, remember?" As Crystal spoke these very words, thunder crackled high above, the sky was now black and rain fell heavily as the wind blew maniacally in all directions. A menacing laughter boomed through the door and all the survivors were deduced to the floor, ducking.

"What's happening!?" ZBoy yelled as his cape flew to the air. All the books in the library were falling out of their assortment and shelves tumbled and crushed to the floor. "Is this the invasion!?" The wind and rain continued to pound harder on the windows, until they shattered to pieces and spread all over the library's levels, sending the rain to bolt against the wooden floors, and onto all the books pages, the ink sliding down the drenched pages.... Loud pounding could be heard amongst all this destruction, each villager looked up woefully to see a disastrous woman shadowing them. Her long, wavers of brown hair blew with the wind in all directions, her structure demeaning, each villager cowered in fear of her prescence. But afterward, a dopy girl skipped in happily, she pulled down the skin below her eye sockets and poked her long tongue out and garbled gibberish.
Each of them blinked, even the woman with long wavy hair, who happened to drag the dopy girl behind her afterwards. The wind begun to calm down slowly, and the faces of these two were discovered. It was Mizuko with what seemed to be her boss, Mizuki. ZBoy pushed himself off the ground and ran up to Mizuki and asked what they were doing.
"Oh, we're invading you." Mizuko blurted.
Everyone gasped, but then Dani blurted out herself, "You don't seem too threatening." Mizuki retrieved a magic newspaper from behind her out of nowhere, rolled it up and hit it over the top of Mizuko's head.
"Ouchie~" Mizuko complained, holding her arms over her head. Then, Mizuki elegantly waved her arm around the library, all the books of the library were flying around, hitting the villagers, while blood begun to drip from the walls. The thunder reappeared as did the harsh winds.
"Sweet dreams." Mizuki simply said as she then ran off along with Mizuko into the far distance. They were out of sight.
The group tried their best to fend of the telekinesis-possessed books with anything they could use, until they eventually ran out of will to try and ran out of the library, leaving the pigs, to retreat to the furthest place from there.

The group ran out into the town square. The rain still poured down, the thunder and wind roared louder than before.
"What are we going to do!" ZBoy called over the wind, his cape flapping in Charmy and Daniella's faces.
"I don't know!" Saffy called back, tears in his eyes, "I'm just a mayor!"
"Just a mayor?" Twi started, "Saffy, you're the one with the power to do anything! Remember when you-"
BOOM! went the thunder. Everyone whipped around, that wasn't the only thing they heard. The mud over by the town's bulletin board featuring events started to bubble and shift. The mud was rising into a figure of a creature, leaves and sticks coming from it, bright red eyes could be seen at the top and a large mouth. From this several others formed. They all took one step at a time, reaching the group. All screeching, piercing the ears of the escapers.
"IT'S A ZOMBIE!" Charmy shrieked. Everyone piled behind Saffy, who weilded his kitchen knife high.
"I will defeat you!" Saffy stated, charging to the unworldy being. Beginning to chop the zombie to pieces, he realised his only attack was useless, the zombie would only rebuild itself in a matter of seconds and chase after Saffy once more. He ran to the others in fear and kept on tracking through the harsh winds. Everyone giving there upmost effort, they all were exhausted. Alas, no rest; Wolves begun to chase after them just after they ran from the zombie's grasp.
And in an instance, they dragged away two innocent souls.
Twilight and Totoro,
were gone.

Chapter 6
The Hidden Bacon Monster

A mournful silence surrounded all of the now shortened group that entered the tailor shop. All the clothes on the racks were dirtied and ripped. Few sprinkles of water were found on the rugged, red carpet on the floor....
"I'm so tired...." Daniella weakly said as she pulled over a chair. Her legs trembled as she sat down. Charmy picked out leaves that had gripped to her flying strands of hair while the rest all stared at one another.
"I hope Twilight and Totoro are safe." Crystal spoke up while pulling the string to the light bulb. It flickered before it fully bloomed its light. She rubbed her arm uneasily, wondering if what she said was rather pointless.
"We must carry on." Saffy replied, they must carry on for each of the villagers of Ranch Story. "The villains, Mizuko and Mizuki will be punished once we conquer."
"You don't mean-"
"Yes, dipping them in hot sauce." He interrupted with a serious face. ZBoy frowned.
"That's.... Not what I meant, but that doesn't exactly sound nice either."
"I think Mizuko would rather enjoy it. She's always wanted to be dipped in a cauldron of hot sauce." Charmy remarked as she pulled the last mossy leaf from her hair.
"Since when was Mizuki a telekinesis?" Tolby asked, jealous. The rest stood there puzzled.
"Well, their boss was a he, so it's possible that she's borrowing that power from him.... I wonder if there are even more people involved.... Against us.... For some reason...." ZBoy questioned himself. "I'm so hungry. There isn't any food here, is there?" Chris walked over to the storage room, thinking there might be some food there, stored by Twilight and Totoro. But as his hand reached the knob, he felt unsettled as he heard muffled noises behind the door. He wavered Saffy over. Both, they slowly set their ears to the door and heard the same sound. Someone was in there.
Chris hesitantly opened the rickety old door, to find a child locked in there. "What the fudge-rockets?"
"THANK YOU!" The girl cheered. She ran up and hugged Chris and Saffy. Charmy crept around the corner and whined, where was their food? But in a moment she glared at the girl and gasped.
"Husband number Cantaloupe!"
"Wifey!" They ran up to each other and glomped as their reunion. Cocoa was discovered at the back of the tailors.
Dani was confused. She opened her mouth and asked the question everyone was wondering. "What were you doing back there?"
"I DUNNO. But there was BACON," Cocoa threw her arms in the air.
"Is there any left....?"
"NOPE. What are you guys doing here, though?"
"You don't know?" ZBoy asked. "The whole town has been turned into pigs, and we're trying to find a way to stop this madness. Mizuki and Mizuko are working for whoever's behind it."
"Mizuko!? My HUBBY!?"
"Yes. Twi and Totoro have been taken by them too."
"Well, we can't just sit here talking," Dani said pulling at his cape, "What are we going to do?"
"Hmm, the invasion seems to be over," Saffy said, "so soon, we need to prepare and go back to their base, and find a way in."
Charmy simply smashed her head with the tip of her frying pan. "Why don't we just charge while yelling nonsense? Like there's any point for preparation."
"What do you mean? We can blast their butts if we put our minds to it!" Cocoa protested hitting her arms in the air with shining enthusiasim.
"Prepare with what?" Charmy answered poking Co'coa with the shabby frying pan.
Cocoa's arms lowered slowly as her confidence did. "Oh."
"So..... Do we just go like this or what?"

The survivors once again boarded the ghost train, heading off toward the crack in the wall. Hoping to unveil the crimes of the villain. It was a silent train ride there; People were still grieving the deaths of their two beloved. Twilight and Totoro. But all knew that they had to continue their trek for victory. The train whistle blewed loudly as it reached the destination. They all charged off for their goal in their dripping wet clothes. "So how are we going to figure out how to get in?" Chris asked as he tapped the camoflaged door with his knuckles. He swifted his ear to the door and listened carefully.
"How about we-"
"No, Charmy." Daniella imposed, pulling at her hair.
"Shhhh!" Chris snapped at them.
Charmy crossed her arms and sharpened her eyebrows while Daniella continued to pull at her hair. "Don't shush your mother!"
"But I though I was your sonhusbandthingy?" Oscar, with a gawked mouth, questioned while pointing at himself.
"I don't know anymore...."
"SHHH! GOSH." Chris irritionally shushed them again. "I can hear some smexy ladies talking." All the girls rolled their eyes. But the group surrounded him in a small huddle, placing their ears to the door eager to hear.
"Where's the secret passage again?" They heard a voice, which sounded to be much like Mizuko. "I swear I won't tell the others!"
"Well.... I don't want you to be locked out again. Remember the hidden door just to the back of this one?"
"No."
The group heard a loud sigh coming from an elder woman. Mizuki? "Just up the mound and next to a tree. Now I have to report back to the boss. Keep an eye on the camera."
Camera? Everyone turned to see a camera hiding on a branch of one of the trees behind them. They all scurried behind it, keen to not be caught this easily. ZBoy started tiptoeing away from the hiding peepers.
"What are you doing?" Crystal called out to him.
"Going to find the trap door." He spotted a tree above from where the main door was, and quickly ran to it. The rest followed. All throbbing, they scattered leaves everywhere to find a door in the ground.
"No! It's this tree you moron!" Tolby hissed at the group.
"We already tried that one, moron." Saffy mocked as he crawled over to another.
"How has Mizuko not spotted us yet?" Cocoa questioned after a sudden pause.
"Who cares! Find that bloody trap door! Next to the tree, my arse. Look at all these trees! WE'RE IN THE FRICKIN' FOREST!"
Suddenly, Daniella's knee tapped against some hardwood. She swished all of the leaves out of her way and discovered the door. "Guys! I found it." Tolby shoved Daniella out of the way and quickly slammed it open.
"Quiet, much." Saffy remarked, kicking him down the hole. Ahhhhhh! Doompf. "Come on guys." Mayor Saffy waved everybody in and helped them down, just as a mayor should do. Though, shockingly enough, They saw the long purple-haired girl standing in front of them smiling.
"Oh, crackers." Crystal sighed.
"I'm meant to be kidnapping you, but...."
"But what?"
"I'm so hungry. I have no energy..... Mummy...." She started nibbling on her hand. "It tastes better than sticks." Then she started to skip over to Cocoa. She sniffed her and drooled. "You smell like bacon."
"If we give you some food," Oscar implied. "Will you let us go? Uh. Mizuko?" It was too late, she'd already started biting Cocoa's arm. Poor girl. Cocoa shifted away from the hungry girl with fearful eyes. Canibaaaal. Mizuko looked up at Oscar.
"Saywhatnow?"
"Tacos."
"Omnomnomnomnom."
"You want taco, yes?" Mizuko got down on the icy floor and begged. "Oscar give you taco if you let us go, yes?" The dog impersonater nodded and barked. Wagging its imaginary tail. Oscar grabbed a sloppy, old taco from his pocket - which now looked like some nachos - and threw it over to Mizuko. "I was saving it for later, but here you go." Crystal patted her long, purple hair before running off with the rest. After a while, ZBoy prompted the question.
"Do any of us actually know where we're going?"
"No." Chris replied. "But it's a one way tunnel."
"Good point." They resumed running through the icy cavern, hoping to be lead to the answer of their troubles.
