I loved watching the anime: full of action, adventure as well as some fun humor sprinkled around. I lost interest in the series -probably- around the Majin Buu saga...I can't really remember which episode I last watched when I was a little 6 year old kid. Probably when Goku and Vegeta were in Majin's Buu's body (?) I can't rememberrrrrrrrrrrrrr >.<;
I stopped watching till GT. Bleh. |

Saiyaman was in DBZ.
Music in this one is amazing, wish they had better quality. |

DBZ=My childhood.
Looking back on it, though. I wish the series had ended with the Cell Games. It was such a perfect ending (What with Gohan taking over his father's role...) Only good thing about the Buu Saga and onwards was the Great Saiyaman. Tolby: I think you're my hero for posting those videos... Ah, those were the days. |

Watching those again makes me so ###### glad I own them all on DVD. :'D
DBZ4EVER. It shall never die. EVER. And yeah... Buu was BS, but even that long trumpet series of events had its moments of epicness. (Like that Vegeta video Tolby posted.)

When I was a kid I'd watch the series where Goku was a kid and actually looking for the balls. Then the Z series came along and I realized how horrible it was. 3/4 of each episode was people staring intently - the script for each season couldn't have been longer than a legal sized sheet of paper.

But that's the point, GS. It's so bad it's good. Really, it's like watching a Michael Bay movie. Lots of big explosions, little plot, and lots of "Earth, F**k yeah!"
In terms of plot, and, well... everything else except explosions, Dragonball itself was indeed superior. *also owns every episode of that on DVD* But... it just can't compare to the fail!logic of DBZ. DBZ's fail!logic is what makes it awesome. (Also, Dragonball didn't have Vegeta and Gohan. The canonverse is just empty without them.) And from what I understand from certain friends, it's one helk of a show to watch while high. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

Goku as a kid was comical, funny, and awesome! I really liked that, since it was easily understandable and it was cute too. Dragonball Z was great though, also, and my favorite characters will always be the main (Goku, duh) and Vegeta. Vegito= <3333
DBZ was really epic, but I have to agree sometimes it was a bit illogical (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) and some of the voice acting was....flat. I kinda like the new voice actors in Kai; except for Gohan's and Bulma's, of course. I never watched GT. But it was just fail... it just didn't seem like Dragonball anymore. Is it me, or is it that Krillin is so much like Kenny from South Park, dying every time? -_-; "Oh my God! They killed Krillin! Those bastards!" Also, most of you DBZ fans should know about Dragonball; Evolution. THAT MOVIE SHOULD'VE NEVER BEEN MADE! There were so many mistakes, they didn't do a good job with characters, it was shallow, the fighting scenes were MEDIOCRE, and I'm not the biggest movie critic ever but even my little brother can sense so much fail in it. THE FAIL IS OVER NINE THOUSANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) crud, and I've heard they're making a sequel with Trunks in it. Seriously?! I can imagine Trunks saying: "If they make a new sequel to the lame movie it will be the end of all of us! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" -ends rant here- EDIT: I don't think Kai is THAT bad. I like how they are putting DBZ at least on television once again since it's no longer on CN. But I did notice they cut out a whole lot of scenes, and I just don't think I can stand having to just watch half an hour of a new episode of DBZ Kai every day. They even changed the dialogue which was funny in the original because it sounded more perverse or hysterical, and the theme song Dragon Soul is good, but the original was more suitable. I'm not against Kai, but they could've added a little more animation. Oh well.... |

I used to be so obsessed with Gohan. Eventually I just grew out of it.

Gohan was such a badass. GT ruined him.
Loved Gohan, but Krillin is probably still my all time favorite. He always pulled off some crazy ###### that he shouldn't have been able to do. Even if it only cut off the bad guys tail, or cause a distraction. Future Gohan was the baddest. One handed and still kicking trumpet. If he didn't have to coddle Trunks he would have kicked their trumpet. |

Hmmm I liked Vegeta the best. He was good butt, cold, arrogant and rude. He was a freaking PRINCE.

My thoughts on Vegeta:
He was a very cliche anti hero. But he did it first. |

Boring? This isn't boring. Boring is when I stand around while you try on clothes for two hours, that's boring.

Watch the awesome Gohan video, Mizuki. Then you'll know.
Yeah, Vegeta is sooo.... standard. But he formed the standard, didn't follow it. Of course that because I watch DBZ when I was in like 2nd or 3rd grade. I love in the Tapion movie when he uses an energy shield to protect the people in the office building. That had hero written all over it. |

Ohhhh. That line. God, it's been so long since I've watched the Future Trunks special. I used to own it on VHS, but my parents gave away all of our VHS tapes seven years ago, so I haven't seen it since then.
Sadly, I'd have to agree with Seventeen. That really is boring. ._. |

History of Trunks was one of the greatest things DBZ made ever. I wish that the episode where Trunks went back to the future were another TV special, and had more Gohan in it.
