What are you good at, RS?

I'm still pretty new here and I don't see any threads like these, so I figure this might be a good way for everyone to learn something cool about one another. Anybody have any strange talents? Play an instrument? A chef in the making? What are you proud to say you can do?

Personally, I have a really great memory, which comes in handy for the trivia team I used to play on at my high school (Canadians might know the show -- Reach For the Top?). One year our team came in 3rd place in the city :) It's a helk of a lot of fun. My good memory also let me learn pi to 35 places and gave me way too strong a knowledge of every episode of House released so far.

Other than that, I play the piano. I'm not great, but I'm okay.

Come on everybody, brag a little bit :) We all deserve it haha. What are you good at?

Hmm. Well, I'd like to say that I think that I'm okayish at singing? I dunno. I just kinda have a passion for it, and my friends seem to think that I'm good. :>

I also play several instrumentsss. *V*
Those being the piano, cello, violin, recorder (does that count. :<), and the drums (ish). :'>

I'm good at drawing, I have a great memory, I'm a talented singer, I'm good at volleyball, and I learn really fast.

I'm amazingly smart, and I don't try. I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but I'm constantly told this by teachers. I think it's more because of memory than anything, and I like to question a lot, which gets me places sometimes.

I'm great in sports, I can pick it up and play like that.

I'm quick to learn things, usually.

I expected things like what I said. Just sports and weird habits and stuff, and then the first reply is something badass like "I'm great with a gun." That's really, really cool, Zen! Do you hunt or just shoot for recreation?

As far as your intelligence stuff goes, I think I'm the same way. I do ask a lot of questions in class or will make a note of something to research on my own later. I love questioning things, especially about chemistry, biology and medicine. I even bought a book a few weeks ago that goes over the chemical formulas, properties etc of a bunch of household chemicals. It's neat :)

And I need to start trying next year or I'm not going to get into university. :@

I know I may have mentioned it around the forum before, but I don't ever think I truly mentioned how I am really into acting. I participate in the school plays. It is something I am really into no matter how stressful it becomes trying to balance school and practice. I've had big leads before too in some of the plays.

I know it isn't much, but I have always been told by some adults that I'm really good at communicating with both sexes. Most males try to act all cool when talking to girls to try to impress, wherese I just simply talk and have a good conversation with them.

I think I am a pretty good Beat boxer. Its not a usefull skill but it gets me by when other people of my race question Whether I am black or not. Since I can't really rap or rhyme worth a dime. LOL I just did it but I had time to type this out.

I would think I could be a an actor I did too short movies In highschool I loved it. I talk in voices of different characters to mess with my parents. Never saw it as a career though It would be an awesome Hobby though.

I will comeback after I think about this some more.

@Zen: That's awesome :) Something similar (but much less badass) happened to me when I was in my first year of Reach for the Top, the trivia thing I do. We decided to pit me against the other 3 people on my team (all guys) for a practice game. I ended up tripling their score. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-iia.png)

I'm really good at remembering useless things, like all 47 countries of Europe..in under 3:00 min. :D

I'm also good at drawing. Can't color to save my life, but I love to use my handy dandy drawing pencils to shade in my work.

Oh and I'm a good baker. Not to toot my own horn, but my mango rum cake will knock your socks off. ;)

I play piano, but I don't practice a lot so I'm really not that good. I also play the flute (I'm pretty bad at that, so it's hardly considered a talent). I'm in advanced placement classes too, but I really don't think I'm a genius or anything. And I'm very tall. Yes, that is not a talent. Sorry.

Alas, I'm good at a multitude of things.
One thing I'm GREAT at is playing the guitar.
I mean, I'm not the best, but I am pretty darn good at it.

My greatest assets would probably be my intelligence and creativity (with absolute dedication and a good eye for detail in the things I feel like having details for coming up to be a close second)...

Though...I'm also a published writer. I haven't got paid or anything, but I've been given exposure in a couple small-time online magazines (you always start small, right?). I specialize in horror fiction, and I hope to make a career out of it eventually (the Japanese major is for the Day Job, which I won't mind doing while I work on what I really want to do in my spare time).

Ok well I'll list my really weird "talents" (they are pretty much useless, but still).

I good at making chiffon yarn bracelets.

I'm pro at throwing things like Gold Fish and Jelly Beans up in the air and catching them with my mouth.

And I'm pretty good at entertaining people. Especially with my strange character personae.
(Whenever I get bored I give a weird personality and voice to video game characters. My most popular one is my take on Wario (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) )

Some normal talents are I'm a good problem solver and I'm good at teaching myself things.
