Maybe I'll go back to it one day, but I will probably start a whole new file. I have a long list of half completed games that I have to finish.

You never play games very long. Do you get bored quickly or something?

I usually quit around when my kid is born. In ToT, the thought of having to wait a full year drove me a little crazy, so I stopped playing right away.

You never play games very long. Do you get bored quickly or something? I never thought of myself as someone who gets bored easily just someone who gets distracted easily. Whenever I do what's most important to me in a game it's very common for me to want to start a different game. Usually in Harvest Moon games after I'm rich, have a successful farm, gotten all the marriage candidates to the point where I can marry them, and beaten the plot (if the game has one) I start to drift to a new game. Having children was never really important enough to keep me interested. And since All the marriage candidates are at full hearts when I quit I also don't get rival marriages often. That's another reason why I have a boy file, it's a way to keep interested in the game longer. But at least I'm never bored (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . |

I hated that, so I just slept through almost the whole year. The only HM game when I quit before the kid was all the way grown was DSCute. You had to wait 2 YEARS just for them to go from a toddler to a child to a teenager. |

DS Cute was ridiculous. I don't know why they thought making a kid take that long to grow up was a good idea. The only Harvest Moon I ever played for that many years was MFoMT (I love that game).

Ughhh! How can I meet Phoebe and get a phone so I can call Taylor and get seeds? I need Corn but Marimba farm isn't selling any till they are up to level 2. Do we have to get the General Store up to level 2 as well? What can I sell efficiently and how much should I make to upgrade the General store to two as well? How frustrating :< and I want to ring the bell before summer ends...it just started for me. D: and I cannot STAND the idea of having to wait a full year for summer to come again just to get some stupid Corn! D:

You have a couple of options with the corn. One is to buy a few bags of mixed seeds, you might get lucky and find corn that way. Should you fail to get corn before the end of summer, then you can buy some cornmeal at the Harvest Festival in fall.
Let me look up how to find Phoebe real quick . . . If you've rung the Red Bell, then you just need to go to the fifth floor of the Upper Garmon Mine. To get a phone, the store does need to be at least level 2. All you need to do is ship like 40,000G of anything at all. I think. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) |

Anything like what? O_o. Do you REALLY need a telephone to just order seeds? Or can you just upgrade the Marimba farm's store, and just buy seeds from there?
Suggestions? Bahhhhh (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-gonk.gif) I've done the mixed bags thing, but if I do come across corn I HOPE it can be Good or a better quality. If its decent I would be so pissed. Btw, how can you access the Upper Mine? The thing is, there's that one cart before the bridge which is still broken when you're on your way to the Garmon Mines Plaza. Its still broken. The other cart is being fixed by Bo..I talked to him and he said he'll fix it. Apparently, he didn't. I believe that cart will take you to Harmonica Town directly? (Phew, I wouldn't have to walk so much now) |

If you want to order from Taylor, you need the phone. But yeah, you can buy them from the farm at level 2.
Anything like . . . anything. Forage, mine, fish, the site didn't specify. I'd go with mining. To get to the upper mine: 1. Have the Red Bell rung. 2. Enter the mines from the district. 3. Intsead of going left when you enter, turn right. There should be a little hallway lit by lanterns, the entrance to the Upper mine is there. *** I'm not aware of any cart before the bridge . . . 0_o You need to bring Bo something to eat three times before he'll fix the cart. |

Ahh okay, it was dark at first and I doubt I could go in there again.
Okay, I'll defintely get that farm upgraded. I was get worried for a second that it might hinder my quest. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) I'm growing a load of summer crops, to sell. I think I'm just a few steps away from get the barn upgraded. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) How much is needed to upgrade the farm to level 2, btw? Would Bo eat anything? Like Mushroom soup? I was talking about that broken cart which took you to the Church Plaza thingy. |

Farm to level 2 would be about 30,000G worth of crops.
Bo will eat pretty much anything, even fresh crops/milk. Yeah, that's the only cart in the game, I meant. |

Okay so far I'm pretty good in the game.
I have everything needed for the Blue Bell to be rung, (Perfect Duck Egg which was a pain to get, a Black Pearl, and five fish). I just need a windy day. I also have everything except for the Hibiscus for the Green Bell too c: It seems the Purple Bell is the hardest to get. 3 hearts for 10 people? bleh. >.<; 1)Chase 2)Luke 3)Wizard 4)Maya 5)Witch 6)Dr. Jin (he's pretty darn easy, actually. Just get remedy for 180 gold ;D) 7)Candace 8)Dale (idk, I just like this chap. :3 he's a cool old guy Lol) 9)Owen 10) Gill I want to work for the rival events too. I can't stand watching some of the rival marriages, but oh well. Tee hee. :3 |

Some of those rival proposals are so freaking corny. My sister and I were yelling at the screen going "Are you serious!?"

For some reason, Luna's and Gill's rival scene really ticked me off.
Considering I hate the couple, I just couldn't bear seeing them wed. D: Gill, you can do SO MUCH BETTER. I always thought Candace was nice for him anyway, but he gets snooty whiny Luna instead. (she's such a b!tch when she confesses her love for Gill! if I was Akari/Hikari I'd kick her trumpet so hard her nose will bleed) Gill doesn't even look remotely happy in the marriage either :s |

I personally think Gill should have married Candace, and Luna should have married Julius.
She in Julius make a nice couple. |

I hate Gil/Luna too (that pairing never made any sense to me), but I love Candace/Julius. Although I can see how Candace/Gil could be a really cute couple. There are a lot of couples I would pair differentially. I doubt I'll ever be completely happy with rival couples, but I do think they do a good job (most of the time) pairing characters together.

Well, Julius and Cadace apparently had been good friends as children. Also, they say in real life opposites end up together. I see this all around school. The quiet person with the loud and outgoing one.
Gil and Luna really don't make sense though. They just got married in my game. When you talk to to the other rival couples after marriage they talk about how wonderful their life has become. When you talk to Luna, she talks about how they still argue over everything even though they are married, and Gil talks about how he dislikes his father treating Luna like she is on a pedestal. |

Sometimes, arguing is a way couples show love.
Like Percy and Annabeth in the Olympian series. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) |
