And you have to do enough cooking contests to fill up a meter that consists of about 10 hearts. I think winning gets a full heart and losing gets a little less than half a heart(I lost my first one). I believe when all 10 are filled up, the villages will be on good terms again and will repair the tunnel.

I always hated the cooking contest. The only games I ever won was MFoMT and DS Cute. I just hope I'll do better in this game.

Haha, I was really bad at cooking contests too.
The plot is kind of light-hearted and comical (I mean, "Grrr, I hate you! You cook weird!"), so I think I will like the game even more. It's very original, considering lots of other games were about saving harvest sprites or something weird. It also sounds challenging, but not impossible to achieve. |

The dialogs are quite funny (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
I won the second one....so...is it random? I mean Ilsa gave me the ingridents and told me what to cook...so I really don't know if I have any influence ~ maybe later in the year. |

I'm excited to find out exactly who this whole festival thing works. I really want to see what happens when the towns become friends again.
And jssblue that's what I thinking it's so funny ("your way of cooking stupid!" "Well maybe you're what's stupid!" "I never wanna speak to you again! Let's destroy the tunnel that connects are villages." Yup I'm sure it went just like that) |

nearly
acutally it was the harvest godess that destroyed the tunnel because the villages were arguing in it...and they always disturbed her during lunch-nap-time...so erm...she...well....let it collaps (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) but the hravest godess here is really funny~ she always appears when you cought so and so much fish or insects....with papappaam or something like this *lol* she is cool ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For all japanese speakers/readers this site is a collection of tips and tricks for TV ~ sadly only in japanese. Mabye someone is willing to help me with translating the recipies? *************************** TO all the girls who have been drooling over Dirkas new look. From above site I got the fact that: you can marry Dirka! wether it is true or not....we have to find out~ |

She was really funny in that game. Always talking about nap time and sleeping in late (she actually reminded me of Mist from the Rune Factory series). TO all the girls who have been drooling over Dirkas new look. From above site I got the fact that: you can marry Dirka! wether it is true or not....we have to find out~ That would be cool, but I'm not get my hopes up. Isn't he listed in the villagers section? If that does turn out to be true wonder if in her third appearance Alisa will finally be a marriage candidate. Although I always liked the fact she wasn't available for marriage. She has more important things to do with her life then marry some farmer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) . |

Thanks for the helpfulness as always. Oh by the way what are the houses you live in like? Are the houses different depending on which town you live in? Or do they just look different from the outside but are exactly the same on the inside?
*Edit* Looking back I probably should have asked this in the topic you made about asking questions whoops. |

I haven't played, but I think they are the same house on the inside but have a little different designing in the carpets, table, walls etc. And its ok to ask stuff here, too.

^Thanks. Yeah I thought that's how it would be. If it was like that I would probably live in the village with the best house (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . So I'm glad I don't have to choose between two styles.

Oh thank you (you're so nice it's making me feel bad), but you don't have to. You should have fun playing the game and not spend all your time answering my questions.

I've noticed something with the clothing you get in the beginning. I've noticed that Konohana's clothing looks more like Bluebell's and Bluebell's looks more like Konohana. But that might just be me though cause Konohana's clothing doesn't look like the rest of villagers clothing.

There are notes on the board to geht the other outfits and different bachelors/bachelorettes have different preferences. So I think you earn more LP if you wear one of their favorites when on a date with them. |

I won my second cooking contest. It's pretty easy to cook for them because the mayor will come to your house on the day of the contest and gives you the ingredients. Also I explored the wilderness and finally found the 2 boars and a bear. The boars and bear attack you if they see you. I'm currently trying to give Licorice the things she likes but I can't get tofu for Tofu Salad. Gonbe doesn't sell soybean seeds (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif) .

Seriously? The mayor just gives you all the ingredients? That's kind of stupid. If they do that for all of the cooking contests, it would be way too easy to finish the story.

How do you figure out what outfit they like will they tell you? |

It maybe stupid but it doesn't make things easier. Yes, it does give you an advantage on what to make. But if you really want to win you still have to find a way to wow Pierre. (Or so it seems with me. I've competed in two cooking festivals and lost twice). |

Oh, I thought you just had to make the right dish to win, so having the ingredients thrown in your face would make it super-easy. So how do you "wow" Pierre?
