How many shiny Pokemon have you collected or seen?
Approximately five minutes ago I caught a shiny Wurmple (depressing really...). A couple years ago I found a shiny Ryhorn in the Safari Zone, but being the b**** that it was, it ran away like a pansy. A couple years ago as well my cousin ran across a shiny Zubat, but a year later we deleted it because our Ruby and Sapphire games were infested with cheats, and we were over the god-like power of the AR. So, same question. (You have a 1/8192 chance of finding a shiny every battle, so we don't have to argue about this later) |

I have a shiny Beedrill. That's about it, unless you want me to count the Gyarados from Silver.

My friend wanted to trade me a Japanese shiny Dialga for my regular English one but that didn't go through. I've never caught a shiny before.

I've seen shiny Krabby(SP?) but I run away from it before realizing it was shiny... And I have yellow Rattata in... Erm Leaf Green was it... *not sure anymore*(I hate Rattata...) and in Silver I had shiny Cleffa. God I hate Cleffa too...-_-' Why do I only catch shineys I don't like?
My little brother seems to attrack shineys though, he has Diglet (that evolved into Dugtrio) Sandshrew (that evolced into Sandslash) and Kakuna (that later evolved into Beedril) and my younger little brother had shiny Geodude explode on his face (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Also my little sister has Spinda that is colored like Panda, we gave it nickname Spanda (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) So I've seen quite many apperantly (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) |

For seeing that many? Just hang out in same bush for about 2 hours and you'll find one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) Works for me atleast... Better in places where there are only very few kinds of pokemons. Like in first bushes in red and blue you only find Pidgey and Rattata so stay there, keep fighting crappy pokes and if you're lucky you eventually run in one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Why would I want to find a crappy Pokemon?
I know some people who save infront of legendaries and keep resetting until it's shiny. Now that's hardcore. |

QUOTE(Dusk @ Jun 16 2007, 08:16 PM) Why would I want to find a crappy Pokemon? I know some people who save infront of legendaries and keep resetting until it's shiny. Not that's hardcore. I've heard someone doing that too... UGh I have enough problems getting my legendaries alive (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) *always accidentally killing them due suprising and wrongly timed criticals* Oh and my point wasn't getting crappy shiny, it should work with better areas too but when you fight againts lower leveled pokemons you have to visit pokemon center less meaning you get to spend more time trying to find shineys. That was my point. And hey, better finding crappy shiny than no shiny at all since crappy ones can always be trained to be better... |

In Emerald [I think] I was breeding Marills and out of one egg came a green Azurill. o__o I don't even know if it's shiny, it's just green. Other than that, I haven't seen one.

Any Pokemon that looks different than the normal Pokemon is shiny. Of course, with the exception of female/male differences and Spinda. You'll know if it's shiny if like stars.... flash when you look at it.

Ive only seen two. (And I mean in the wild on my game. Not youtube, trainer battlers or my cousin's ARed one.) Saw a ShinY Butterfree in Cyrstal, but killed it because I didnt know it was Shiny and had already caught a buttrfree. Then saw and caught a Shiny Phany in.....either Emerald or Leaf Green, I forget. It was on a bonus island. One of the island where you have to collect the ruby and sapphire plates.

I saw a shiny Groudon once on Ruby, but my pokemon hit critical like a tard and killed it when it would've had like 10 HP left. And I had a shiny black Charizard on leafgreen, but my brother was a tard and saved over it. I got it out of an egg by breeding my male and femal Charizard at the daycare. Pissed me off cause I used all that time beating the elite four over and over again to get it to evolve.

I would have kicked my brother's ###### if he saved over a file with a shiny Charizard.

Ah, shinies, how I love them.
In Ruby, my only shiny is a Zangoose. Once I beat the E4 I can trade him over to Diamond... But in Silver, it's ridiculous. I have a shiny Pikachu, Gyrados, Nidoking, Fearow, Noctowl, and Golduck. All completely legit. Why can't we trade over from the old games... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif) |

A long time ago, I saw a shiny Nidorina, but I can't remember what game it was in. I tried to catch it but failed. In Silver, I had a shiny Gyrados. On Diamond, I have a shiny Chatot.

If I had a level 100 Rotom, I could have gotten a female shiny Eevee off the Global Trading thing. D;
