In the games I always enjoy Fall or Winter the most. In Fall it usually has cute music and not the usual annoying music that you mute your tv after playing for 20 minutes.
Winter, if you can still plant things I like it, but the games where winter is pretty pointless I don't like it. |

Fall is definitely my favorite for a couple of reasons.
First off, the money. Who could agrue with that? And second, scenery and music. |

Fall usually reaps me the most money, for some reason. In Back to Nature, it was all about sweet potatoes and the truckload of wild items found around Gotz's place and Mother's Hill, though.
I'd definitely say fall, though - it's cozy, usually has some of my favorite music, and it's got a beautiful color scheme. Winter tends to be my least-favorite because even though it's cozy, there's not much to do after a while. |

Fall in Harvest Moon DS Cute and in Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town. In the Rune Factory series Winter especially in Rune Factory 3.

In Magical Melody, I LOVED Winter! I always mined for jewels and get an assload of money (probably the only season where I prosper most.) The cute festivals were awesome too. :'D
