It's tradition! I make a Canada Day topic and the Americans bash Canada in favour of Independence Day. What are the Canadians doing this year? :)

Might go down to the local celebration, see if I run into anyone. Usually the band they get is okay, but I don't know who's playing this year.

I would go to the celebration on Parliament Hill, but I'd have to wait over an hour while 20 packed buses pass by my station. The Queen's in town and I imagine this will only make things worse.

EDIT: It's also the first day of free agent signings in the NHL.

I was hoping to get on vacation quick enough to be able to celebrate it with my friend. We were planning to do some pretty cool stuff. Together, we make an amazing Canada Day fanatic duo! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emot-iia.png)

But alas! This is not happening! I'm going to try my hardest to get to our local celebration too, and then the fireworks! Oh! And maple-y oatmeal for breakfast, eh? Whatever it is, it'll be sure to beat last year's one. During French Camp, we ended up going to the Quebec Parliament instead. No mention of Canada's birthday whatsoever. Bah!

Happy Canada Day! Heh, I remember last year's. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) It went from Canada Day, to a discussion about The Alamo, then to an arguement about a song about The Alamo. >-> <-< No, I dunno who it was. No names come to mind. *slips away*

I wanted to head to Ottawa for Canada Day to see the Queen :( Ah well, there's always next year to attend the festivities in Ottawa.

There's probably some fireworks at Ontario Place, were I to decide to go there. In all likelihood I won't be doing too much but watching Where the Wild Things Are with Toaster Boy and Katie tonight~

Heh, I'll be working but atleast I'm going to get time and half so, that makes things alright.

I would've loved to see the Queen but I'm not driving 5 hours to probably not even catch a glimpse... Plus, what would all of those snot nosed kids do without me scooping their ice cream or making their greasy food?

So I won't be doing anything.

I believe the Queen will be in Toronto this weekend, but it's likely only for the Queen's Plate. I'm hopeful she might be doing something downtown I could attend.

So is the movie out today or tomorrow? Movies are usually out on Friday, but I heard it was today =\ I really want to see that movie, though!

I don't think I'd want to see it anyway. I mean, the cast is blah. And it seemed way too serious compared to the animated series.

Anyway, yeah. Happy Canada Day! :D
