I think for my first file I'm going to play as a boy and live in Konoha. The once I'm better at the game I'll make a girl file and live in Bluebell. I still haven't decided who I'm gonna marry yet. I probably won't decide until I play the game I don't want it to be Animal Parade all over again. (before I got animal parade I had already decided who I was going to marry based on pre-made judgments of the characters. I ended up hating that guy and loving someone completely different who I though I would dislike.)

I always pick a guy before I play a file and I love guy I picked, so I'm good. And I think I'll do what you are going to do, but switch the guy and girl around.

I always jump to conclusions way to fast and end up completely wrong. I've been trying to stop that, but guessing is fun even when you're wrong. So I say: I'm going to like Ash and dislike Michael. I can't wait to play this game to see if I'm right or not. I wish the male protagonist was a marriage candidate he's really cool and so is the girl. You know these might be my favorite protagonists ever. Well maybe not I have loved Claire for a long time...

I'm usually pretty good at picking who I want to marry beforehand, but not always. I'm pretty sure I'll have a file as a girl in Bluebell and I'll marry Kamil, and a file as a boy in Konohana and I'll marry Licorice. This is random, but I always pronounce Konohana like "Kohana". It sounds and flows better to me, I guess.

Kamil, is not as girlie as the other guys, and Licorice is pretty nice.

I pronounce Japanese names a lot, so maybe that's why it sounds and flows right to me.

and then I want to be a boy in Bluebell and marry Raspberry...or however the osaka-speaking redhead was called :3 alone for her accent I love her~ OSAKAAA! :P

I think I like Raspberry more then Licorice, but can't you marry people from the other village after getting the owl?

but the sage might be one of the more difficult characters....I normally never bother with those >_> endless requirements and stuff like this

Hmm I haven't even though about special marriage requirements in a long time. The only Harvest Moons I've been playing recently don't have things like that. I completely forgot that was a possibility.

Whenever I play a Harvest Moon game I always make everybody like me just because it makes the game last longer. So I'm going to woo Michael even though I don't think I'll like him. Curse you special marriage requirements (if there are special requirements that is. If not then never mind...).

And on the subject of pronouncing Konohana I used to say it like Konohaha, but now I pronounce it Konohana.

I'm gonna have to agree with you I don't really like the sounds of Raspberry (she is probably one of the prettiest girls though). But I'm still gonna wait before I make any real judgment. And actually I don't think I like Lia all that much either (for some reason I'm way pickier when it comes to HM girls then HM boys).

Well I think she is pretty, but again I'm very picky when it comes to HM girls and compared to the other ones she looks good. Some of the other girls look odd to me, and I like her hair color/style. The prettiest girl is definitely the female protagonist though.

On a completely different note Nana's face reminds me Keria. (the princess girl in the mine from Harvest Moon DS)
