I wanna try cosplaying. T~T But my mother's too lazy to show me how to use the darn sewing machine, or to take me to a fabric store. >__>;;

I could easily cosplay as Haruhi. I have orange ribbon for her hair, and my hair cut is the exact same haircut and color as hers. The outfit wouldn't be hard to make either.

When I was littler and I first watched this movie I ALWAYS wanted to dress up as Chihiro. ^-^

Sor far I've done 3 cosplays and I really want to do one more.

First I had my grandma make this for me for halloween. No one knew what I was supouse to be.

Then there was a nintendo costume contest so I went as this.

Then my Ex wanted us to be a pair for an anime con so he told me to go as May. But that was a awful costume I'm not gonna count it by adding a picture.

She is a character in the Vocaliod universe based on a song by Luka Megurine. I love her song and I love this girl. <3

Now I'm all interested in this anime convention/cosplay nonsense. .///.
I've always wanted to, but was never close to any locales.
Plus this next year may be my last chance to do one, so now I've been thinking.

The only character I've come up with so far that I could pull off without too much bad news bears is Rin Kagamine from Vocaloid. Mainly because her hair is basically identical to mine if not a bit longer, plus she has blue eyes and a fairly basic, appropriate outfit. It's going to take a lot of thought and effort to even somehow get into an event with my over protective mom & scheduling, plus whatever insane work/cost it would take to produce a costume, but it's something that I want to do.

He doesn't need to be a twin just someone who can be like a partner. Lens costume wouldn't be that harf. The thing that I think would be hard is the hair. If you have a male friend with a similer skin tone hight and hair colour he can work. helk you can get a girl if she can pull off the shota boy look.

Yeahno. I would love either gender of friend who might share even a minor interest in an anime convention. However, I don't really think I have one. I doubt I could even convince Katie to tag along, though I could be wrong. She'd probably want to be like, Daisy or something if she dressed up at all. :/

I guess there's really not that many female characters out there with short blonde hair, from what I've seen, and I'm not too interested in buying another wig on top of making/compiling a costume. Unless someone has other suggestions. XD;

Well if you are doing this for a convention then you can find messages bord for people going to said con and find a guy who needs a Rin. But now I think I'm putting to much emphass on this idea that you need a partner to cosplay right. Really it's about having fun and dressing up.

Someone here cosplayed as a "cute" Tripod.

All I can recommend for the Haruhi cosplay is try to make it a little worn. Everyone has overly vibrant costume colours, and they would probably look better if they had a slightly faded appearance.

I wanna go as way too many things; XI dragoon, Reno (I've got two Rudes on standby :S), a Rocket, maybe something from Harvest Moon, Ness, Falco, Luigi, Pit... Cosplaying as Saffy would be pretty easy...

Ooooooooof. I dun think so. >> I cosplayed Yellow from Pokémon Special once, and she has one big giant ponytail on the back of her head. It kept getting tangled and caught in everything and it was heavy and weighed down my wig... the things I put up with for a costume. I can't imagine what it would be like having two of those super-long monsters. @_@ Very impractical. I don't know how all those Miku cosplayers do it.

The other cosplay I've done is Yuki Nagato... who wears the exact same thing as Haruhi. Except with a sweater and different socks. And a wig that was a pain to dye. What, ever-so-slightly-purplish grey isn't an industry standard color? Phlooey.
Anyway, yeah, as goombaguy said, most North High uniforms look waaay too bright. Most likely because almost all cosplayers use the same color fabric: brand-new bright frickin' turquoise. And that bugs me, so I went to painstaking measures to dye my fabric a more accurate color... it ended up being too light because those blasted dye packets never tell you how much water you need (also I was mixing brands of dyes, which is never a very good idea) but it was much closer than most alternatives.
And if you don't want to go through the bad news bears of dyeing... that turquoise is the closest color on the market.

So... yeah... cosplay...
I like cosplay.

I dream of coaxing my friend into cosplaying the Irises with me. owo She's into cosplay, RPG's, and Harvest Moon (though she hasn't played RFF), so... I don't think it should be too hard of a deal to make. And she's the only person I know who looks enough like me to pull it off. Of course, we're not biological twins... but makeup can do anything. >3
It's gonna be a difficult costume (trying to figure out how that cape works HAS kept me up at night), but we'll figure it out. They're just too cute to pass up~

it's really old, and because it's a winter convention, we didn't make any pictures outside~ so the light is not that good and all ._. I have to try to make new pictures soon :3

And more recently I went as slick haired version Aizen... um... Phoenix Wright (Papa Nick version and Pheenie version)

Depending on if you'd rather go as a boy or girl I guess... You could probably do a good Nami, (I cant remember her name but she has red hair and is from IoH-- Elliots sister) maybe perhaps.... Ellie or for males you could do Joe or Basil perhaps-- Jamie or Alex.

Though some of those may require either a wig or died hair-- your hair is still short is it not?

As for cosplaying, I always found it really cool, I just don't think I have the time, money, or even patience to put together something...
