I knew that lady was going to be a doctor (maybe it was the doctor coat that gave it away (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ) but that old lady had to run a restaurant instead of an inn. Oh well I'm almost always wrong when I guess things about new harvest Moon games.

Yeah, I'll see the villager with umbrellas when it rain, I don't know if you can us an umbrella.
A restaurant is good in Harvest moon games then Inns are, but both of them in one game is best.

Umbrellas!? Wow they really are adding a ton of new things to this game. I will be so sad if only NPCs get to have umbrellas. And you know what restaurants and inns are really similar so I'm just going to say I was right anyways (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

I think you can use an umbrella.

I wonder if the radio works like the television in AP... where there are certain shows on during certain days, (that's how the TV was in AP, right? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ) or if the shows are on everyday but just certain times... (like in ToT?...)

Mainchara - boy
He loves nature, and he came to the village to achieve his childhood dream to open a farm in a place with much green.
He is a curious character, wont give up easily and is up to any challange.

Mainchara - girl
元気いっぱいで、動物や作物を育てることが大好き。牧場主になる夢をかなえるため、この村にやってきた。
世話焼きで、人の気持ちになって考える事が出来る優しい性格。

An energetic woman that loves to take care of animals and grow crops. To achieve her dream to become a farmowner, she came to this village.
She is nice, curious and able to understand other peoples feeling.

*世話焼き means a bother; a meddlesome person O___o duh....

Child
結婚をして愛をはぐくむと産まれる子ども。じっとしているのが嫌いで、色んなものに興味津々。
部屋の中にいても、いつもうろうろと落ち着きがない。とにかく無邪気で甘えん坊。

A child that is born after your marriage from your growing love. It hates to sit quietly and shows lots of interest for various things.
Even when in the room, it can't stand still. Anyway with it's innocence it will sneak into everyones heart.

*甘えん坊 jisho.org says "pampered or spoiled child" but german rikai-chan says it's something like "to curry favour with s.o."

Ash
He is kind of a rival for the maincharacter. He is friendly to everyone, beliving it's a mens duty to protect weak or small persons. He is especially nice to woman, children and elders.

Lia
Cheerful, thoughful and strong she is really popular in the village. She loves to make sweats and drink Tea. To make more people smile she wants to open her own store in the big city.

Kamil
He doesn't talk much, much less about himself. His flower arrangement skills are outstanding. His dream is to win the Flower Arrangemet tournament on the mainland. Acutally he also likes cats.


Blueberry
Her words and conduct are brisk, she is cheerful and makes no differnce between people. Reason is her optimism but sometimes even she feels kind of down. Sometimes she is also a little bit short tempered. She moved to this village when she was litte, but still speaks the dialect of her former village

*from the pictures I saw, she is speaking Osaka dialect. Which kinda has a brisk, comedy feeling to it.

Well, you will have you animals inside of the barn and you won't have to water your crops.
In some Harvest Moons walking around in the rain made you sick, so if you have in umbrella well in the rain you can't get sick, maybe.
It's just a guess.

Aileen/Airin/Ailin
She seems to be gentle and unable to any physical work. But she is a hercules like carpenter, who is able to lift a squared timber with one hand. She is the one to expand your house.

Cheryl
She loves her older Brother Ash, and whenever he doesn't pay attention to her she will get sad. She is afraid to be alone, gentle but more or less a tomboy.
She is a litte bit too pure of a girl, who wishes to become the wife of her beloved brother.

Howard
He likes to to poke his nose into other's business and he also likes rumours and fashion. He also has a delicate site but, if he is angry his anger is without restriction and if he is friendly it seems to be a overly excessive. Though, he carries out his duties as father reliable.

Rose
She is the wife of the mayor. She is a cheerful, energetic old Lady, always supporting her Husband Rudger. She is older than her husband.

Rudger
As a walking dictonary he knows a lot and is a cheerful, energetic granpa. However once he is hooked for something, he doesn't even listen to others peoples advice.
If this happens his wife Rose will chide him and he is no match for her.

I wonder if you can have an umbrella can you hold items while you're using it? If not I'm going to get so sick all the from giving people gifts in the rain. At least if you get sick from going out in the rain without an umbrella. Maybe it's just an accessory it would be really cool if it had a practical use though.

Ilsa
She is a womman that has her purpose and brings her belive through to others. She loves her villages deep from her heart. For her it's naturally to protect the life of the villagers as the mayor.

Chihiro
He is a guy that gives his best to fullfill his dream to become a doctor. He can be an air-head sometimes, but other people also love this side of him. Especially the old people succumb to his cuteness.*

* Or he succumbs to theirs....he confuses me...I will ask some of my friends about this again >_>

Kiriku
He is straight forward and loves to exercise. When he starts to get into the things he really likes, he's unmindful to other things. Anyhow, he loves horses and he has a deep friendship with his favorite horse since childhood.

Licorice
She visited the agricultural department of University, and after recieving the doctor degree at a very young age she returned to her village. Her words are hard, and sometimes she seems unapproachable. She is awkward when it comes to socalizing. Only in front of plants she seems to be nice and comfortable.

Nana
She has the role of a big sister and carries the tolerance of an adult. She takes care of the field and housework for her grandparents. Always gentle-mannered and elegant, but deep in her heart she is strong in her actions and suprisingly stubborn.

Lui
Because he was raised by his mother Ilsa, accomplished in both the literary and military arts, his beheavior doesn't seem to be childlike.
He has a quiet atmosphere arround him and normally thinks before acting, but sometimes he also makes blunders.

Shen Low
He lives and works in a bamboo forest, outside the village and improves tools and things alike. He is a pig headed old man, but also has his good sides.

Zauri
He is the owner of an orchard. Everyday he tries to create new fruit trees but they don't bear any fruits, and his miscreations always are always kind of weird. He is an eccentric only enthusatic for this he is intereseted in.

Fucho, Mucho, Lucho
They work in the general store. Fucho, who has a lucky hand when it comes to buisness matters. Compared to his older brother, Mucho is not that fortunate when it comes to selling and has more losses compared to him. And the third brother Lucho, kind of cute and able to catch the atmosphere of a place or peoples emotions really quickly.

Michael
A little bit sloppy but a warm hearted young men. He a adultlike composure about him, but there seems to be a shadow over him. Basically he is really nice, though he hates it when you try to find out more about him.

Sage
An alcemist, who lives in a small hut on the quiet/silent/deserted back side of the mountain. Her goal is to bring her alchemistic skills to perfection. She lives alone, regardles* of other people. All along she lived insular, ignorant of the ways of the world.

*the japanese word means something like....she doesn't pay attention to other persons

Goddess
She is the protection goddess of the mountain. She gives advice for various things, and she appears to help with various things. Though she is a goddess she is rather easy going and loves enjoyable things. With this in mind, will she be able to help the maincharacter like a goddess should...?

Gonbe
He has a poor hearing, and says about inconveniet only "Dunno". He has a child like simplemindness and is a handful of an Grandpa. He sells seed for crops.

*in japanse when there is an "n" before a "b" the "n" is always spoken as "m" so it should be Gombe....
if the japanese go strictly with the hepburn system (the guy who developed the system to write japanese with normal letters) it's written like "Gonbe"....but the pronounciation should be "Gombe"

Pierre
He is an international famous gourmet. He travels to countries all over the world, to valuate the delicious food he eats. He is only seen, at one of the important events for the competition between the rival village, which he leads.

This game is looking like it's going to be really good! I bought Island of Happiness, but never really played it because I found it hard and annoying to start up a farm, and HM DS was glitchy, so I'm thinking I'm really going to like this one! Thanks again for posting all this information!

Thanks I love not having to wait for it come out in English to learn about a new Harvest Moon games. Kiriku reminds me of Bob (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) they both like physical activities and love horses.
