OMG, my principle is so freaking paranoid!!! All week he's been freaking out about water balloon fights breaking out. Know why? Cuz he got hit with one! Geez!! He then put a ban on backpacks. You could only have clear or mesh ones, and if you didn't, he'd take them up (mine never got taken up, though, LOL!). Then, all Hades broke loose fourth period today, and there was a food fight in the cafeteria during D Lunch (I have A), and at the same time, a water/pee/bleach balloon fight. Yeah. He cut fourth period short and sent us to fifth. So, he cut off D Lunch! My friend had come up to get our teacher to sign his yearbook, and he has D Lunch, and he was standing there, looking at his yearbook, when my principle came on, saying, "Go to fifth period." He didn't get to go to lunch!! D; And he locked all the bathroom doors so people wouldn't go fill up water balloons. THAT'S FREAKING ILLEGAL!!! Anyway, this is leading up to my question.... Were there ever any water balloon fights at the end of school at yours? |

Zen: Wow, can he really ban backpacks? That seems too far. And there were PEE balloons!? People PEED in them!? That is nasty! I sure hope nobody got hit right in the face with those! And a food fight? Where were all the adults to stop this? Those type of fights never happened at my school, but I wish they would have. |

There have been 3 food fights in D Lunch this year. And I was in D Lunch the first 2 days. ;~; I've always longed to be in a food fight. Oh, there are TONS of adults. They just get hit by the food. >D I mean, uh. >-> <-< Anyway, yeah. My school's...ghetto. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) It's not the first time it's happened. My sister warned me of them. And yeah, last year I thought Mr. Talks-A-Lot was okay, if not extremely long winded. But this year he's ticked me off toooooooo much. I think we got on the local news for the backpack thing, lol!

Freshmen year we either read The Illiad (though my sophmore English teacher said we'd read it, but we didn't. ): ) or The Oddyssey. We got The Oddyssey (the freshmen this year got The Illiad). We read most of it, but my teacher hates Greek Mythology (and Romeo & Juliet...but wouldn't you, after teaching it for 4 years six times a day for two or three weeks?), so he just let us watch the whole movie. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ; BTW, got a 98 on that final. Oh yeah! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Wow, you guys had the chance of reading it much sooner than us. We read it 11th grade.
We actually go to read the Odyssey and Romeo&Juliet freshmen year. Yeah, this past final in my reading class I got exempt from it. And two other kids.
