So you got the game yesterday?
Also, the map is horribly confusing. The camera probably doesn't help much either. Bleh. |

Yeah, I got the game yesterday. I'll probably start playing it for real on Friday Night.

I'll be getting the game next time I go out, probably. I'm pretty excited (As I freaking loved StH), though feel as though I should at LEAST play a bit more AP first, since I never got around to playing the copy I got for Christmas.

I really wish that they would remake AWL again, for a console, not a handheld...
I really hope I play this game longer than I played STH for... |

I'll probably be picking it up next week. Even if I bought it this week, I doubt I'd have enough time to actually enjoy it.
Kozu: I'd like to see what they'd do with that game. (Not just ugrades like AnWL or OhAWL) I like how they added cutscenes and things in AnWL, but I'd need to see more. This post has been edited by Celia: Apr 28 2010, 10:36 PM |

I've finished my first in-game day, and I'm not entirely sure I feel quite yet. The town is confusing, but it becomes a lot more clear after you've explored a bit. It does feel like Save the Homeland a bit. Of course the first day is not a good overview of the game at all.
Today, I bought an egg and put it in the incubator :] Glad you can still do that. |

A Wonderful Life had a lot of potential, but there was so little you could actually do. Just the fact there were next to no shops and it was such a pain to sell crops really killed the game.

Just started playing this. Definitely feels like Save the Homeland, although the amount of jobs is overwhelming 0.o
There is no shipping bin, just like Save the Homeland, I also did the egg + incubator thing, but it takes 3 days to hatch and a week after that to get an egg laying chicken :( BTW, can anyone finish the last 4 ending guides for this game? |

Like others, I have to sit this one out since I lack a PSP. Looks interesting though since I did want to try out StH.
And I agree with Koz. If they did a remake of AWL it'd rock, but it'd need a lot more, and they'd need to include the Heaven chapter from AnWL and AWL:SE. I didn't get around to finishing it because I found out you just died in the end, which kind of killed my motivation. I made it to chapter 4 on my Celia file though. If they actually would have made a shipping bin for crops, instead of 3rd gen crops only, then it deffinately would have been better. |

I actually enjoy not having a shipping bin. In truth, it's much more realistic of an actual rural town and with certain shops being closed certain days, I am forced to know what day it is and track time. Also, that way you have the opportunity to have interface with the shop keeper for a legit reason besides obligation.
Are there more crops in this game? I remember corn being my best friend, being as it never withered no matter what time of year it was (besides Winter) and sold for a lot while being cheap. :B |

I also enjoy having to sell items to shops. Not only does it make you interact with other people, but it's definitely far more realistic in that the town's economy works by buying and selling from each other.
As I've seen there are quite a few crops in the game. You seem to be able to buy them all right away. |

here's a list of crops
(IMG:http://i41.tinypic.com/ictkjn.jpg) BTW, I heard that crops wilt at the end of each season (meaning, even if corn can be planted on spring and summer, if u plant on spring, it will wilt when summer comes and u have to replant) |

I know I'm not far yet, but I'm still just not getting into this game. To be quite honest, it's just making me want to finish up Animal Parade. Perhaps I should go do that instead :P

I'm starting to enjoy this game a bit more, though I still want to play Animal Parade instead. I've completed nearly a week now, got a chicken, and bought a lot of tools. I quite like all of the part-time jobs.

I was wondering about the lumber too. I suppose we could just keep doing the part-time job? I'm confused.
