What's your favourite snack to eat when your tummy begins to rumble and there's no meal time in sight?

I'm not much of a snacker. I'm more likely to just go hungry til I can get a meal. But if I'm really hungry I'll eat whatever I can find, which usually ends up being crackers or something.
Didn't play Yellow, so can't compare that, but anyway for the most part it renders Red version obsolete. There are some things that seem like they should have dealt with by now. Key offenders are the overly long battle animations, the tedious sequences like "use surf?" "yes" "you used surf!" *animation of you beginning to surf*, and most of all the lack of diagonal walking, which even by NES standards is weak. The rival and a bunch of other characters like the professor who isn't Oak aren't as cool as the characters from the previous game, seeming like cheap imitations rather than unique characters. But the inclusion of all the little things to do, as well as a more structured multiplayer and overall increased capability for fighting are what count and that's what makes it a better game overall. I just wish I could play as Red again. |

No, I didn't even know you fight him til someone mentioned it in one of the other threads. Anyway I'd have figured by now they'd let you make your own trainer or something.

You're living with your parents right now.. Aren't you? Do you have to pay rent or pay for groceries or something along those lines..?

I'm staying with them right now because of my dad's leg, he really can't do shit except walking, yelling, and computering, though that's enough for him to make money. So I'm staying here rent free, but working on the house/yard, doing oddjobs occasionally for money, and also a job working in an aquaculture lab, and another job doing mapping for a wind turbine company. I still have to pay for my car and all my food.

Well I know your currently in college for environmental work, and work research at a lab, but what careers do the other members of your family have/pursuing?

My dad is an accountant, mostly doing taxes and financial stuff for people all over Cape Cod. My mom works as an assistant to the dean at a state college. My oldest brother drives a tugboat up and down the Mississippi River for some shipping company and makes an insane amount of money. My second oldest brother goes to school at the college my mom works at, and is also part-time employed at the school doing paperwork and also does produce in a grocery store. My twin brother studies archaeology at Gressenheller University.

Yeah, I know, but I also kinda like seeing them too. I've had them off for a while now though because it just gets unbearable, especially when you get access to bigger moves. Also, in online play, it makes you watch the animations, and you can't turn them off. Either way, I can't imagine it's hard to just animate them to be shorter than 5 seconds.

Don't remember, time is a weird subject for me, especially regarding this site. I sometimes have to stop and think what year it is and how old I am, and everything feels like "just yesterday". Anyway you shouldn't worry about it cuz next year you'll be all "man I was so lame last year". I find myself thinking "I was so lame this morning" a lot.

I think everyone thinks back a year or however long and wonders why they were so lame. I do it all the time.
Do you think your parents are proud of you? |

I know my mom is, cuz she brags to people all the time, and then I have strangers coming up to me and wanting to meet me. My dad I think is more proud of me than he is my brothers, but overall I don't think he's very proud of any of us cuz we're not millionaire football/baseball players. When he meets with his clients, his loud voice can be heard from any part of the house talking shit about us. Yet, despite this, he regularly tells me he trusts me to take over the house when he dies.

Yeah, I know my dad knows I have potential and he trusts me to take care of everything {can't even trust my brother to know where his change jar is or even a box of cookies...} but if I'm out shopping with him and we see someone from his work he tells me not to tell anyone I'm being homeschooled and that everything is great. Like, it makes me feel that he's almost embarassed that I'm sick and stuff. I think dads have a thing about constantly wanting their kids to be perfect.
Are you looking forward to anything in the next few months? |

Hmm... not sure. I think for summer to start is good enough for me. The weather here during the spring tends to fluctuate between cold and wintery and hot and summery. It's like spring itself doesn't really exist.
