OMG, I found a loophole in the veggie pizza thing! :D Okay, everybody says that if you miss getting the potato in the spring (or summer?), you're doomed to wait another year to get it. WRONG!!!! :D Okay, first, you need to get a carrot in the Fall, and put it away in your tool box. Try not to forget about it. Oh, and it's okay if it's just decent, and you can just buy it. Then, when Winter rolls around, wait for a day when it's snowing. That day, keep the carrot on hand, and when you go to bed, you'll be visited by that snowman who needs a nose. Give him the carrot, and if you check with him in the mornings, you'll get a present. If you're lucky, one morning he might give you a perfect potato. Of course, if you didn't grab the other ingrediants as you went along, I can't help you there. But, yeah. If all you're missing is the potato, and you're super angry because of that, well, there's your last glimmering bit of hope. And yeah, I'm sure a lot of you already knew about the snowman. It's just that whenever people ask if they can get the potato out of season, people say, "Nope! You're screwed. Sorry!" :\ They seem to forget that the snowman might give you one.

He's handy unless you don't have a carrot. Then it's just annoying. He comes to your house every night while you sleep sporting a creepy grin. He then continues to ask for something long and orange and if you don't have one he leaves but no that just isn't enough for him so he comes back every night. For a while you don't mind your little evening visitor but then it just gets old, and you want to give him a carrot but you can't. Why? Becasue they aren't in season but Mr. Snowman just doesn't take no for an answer >:\

I knew beforehand, so I gave him a carrot the first time and didn't have to deal with him coming back. It was so cute when he started jumping up and down. :D

Hey, I have a question about something. On Fogu, there's one request event that they say can only happen in Winter. It involves Sue and Samson. I'm never going to be able to get their hearts up to 3 by the end of Winter. So, does it HAVE to be in that season?

I'm not exactly sure, but the fish you need for the event, Pacific Halibut, can only be caught in Winter or Spring. So I'm not sure if that means you can still do it in Spring or not.

As far as the letter thing, you do get one letter when you start over. I've started over like five times, and everytime I only get one letter.

Thanks! I HOPE I can get it in Spring. I mean, the guide says I can get it only in Winter. So that's gotta be hope, right? Cuz it's wrong on a lot of things? (I can't tell you how lucky I am that I went onto Fogu to find out what to make for Chase instead of listening to my guide for his requests....) I've already got the fish, so that's not the problem. I think it's Winter 16th, and I just got Samson up to 1 heart; I got Sue up to 1 heart the day before. I wish I could afford another control, just for this (and possibly getting more hearts with the duck). I'd rather get all the other hearts up by myself, but I really want that little seal for my children's room. As long as it's not creepy, like the bear in AWL. ._. That thing was CREEPY.

You can do the event any time, but you can only get the Pacific Halibut in winter OR spring, just off the lighthouse. But it's huge and you should have a level 3 or 4 to even catch it, I think. It would help if you have a slightly longer stamina bar, too, because when I caught it I had the full bar and it still used over half to reel it in.

I have it, so no worries there. I was just worried I wouldn't be able to trigger the event. :D Yay! Then all is well. It's the day before the New Year's festival in my game. I'm kinda excited for it.

Am I allowed to buy any children's clothes before they're out of their toddler stage? I know they can't wear them now, I'm just wondering if I could buy it for the future. Cuz I wanna buy some stuff from the festival....

Spring 4th, I got Samson and Sue up to 3 hearts. The scene didn't happen. ;~;

Also, can someone explain why Tom's ghost isn't working? I went at 21:00 like I've seen, and hung out until midnight, and it wouldn't work. I tried exiting and re-entering the area, but it still wouldn't work. It was a sunny day, too. The next day was rainy, and Candace had gotten married that day, too. Could that have anything to do with it...?

It may be late, but in the case of you still not experiencing the event, my guess is that the event couldn't trigger because of an event occuring in the church plaza, the same location as the graveyard.
