April 7th I'm getting my hair cut short. Not that I'll show any of you. But it's the thought that counts, right?
Nurse: I think that your wigs look awesome, and it's a really smart alternative to damaging your hair with all that other stuff. :] |

That's a sweet hair style you got going there GC. :3
I haven't had a haircut since the beginning of last year..... Yay for inch long hiar splitting things? I can't even remember what they are called. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) But I can't really imagine myself with short hair. Plus, I like to paly around with it when I'm bored. But to get it short would make it less of a hassle. Or even a trim.... I actually think it looks rather disgusting now~ Meh. I'm never really pleased with how I look either way. |

Yeah. Those. X'D I had a blank moment then. I can't even see them, but my friends always point out that they almost go to my ears or something. :q

Zen- Atleast show us an example of your new 'do. And Charmy, they're called split ends. |

Thank you, Charmy! And you know, it's always good to trim away split ends. When I had long hair, I wouldn't get it cut really (except my bangs), but I'd always go to get a trim. Keeps it a bit healthier looking, yeah? :D
Also, agreeing with Chicken. Zen needs to show us an example of her hairstyle, at least~ |

The senator looks angry. Anyway, you get a gold star for being able to pull off the super short hair look.

Am I the only one growing my hair out? I had shorter hair quite a few years ago but now I like it longer.
I get it trimmed every month or so to make sure I don't get split ends and to shorten my bangs. Charmy, that's really unhealthy for your hair... You'll end up having to cut it all.:/ |

I'm growing my hair out, just to see how long it can get before it drives me crazy and I have to cut it short again. It got "trimmed" to my shoulders in January (shorter than I wanted ;n;), but it's maybe an inch past my collarbone now. If I can endure, in 2 years it should be near waist length. I have to keep shortish layers around my head though, otherwise it looks heavy, flat and depressing.
Anyway, I recommend not brushing your hair when it's wet if you want to avoid split ends. They really do stunt hair growth. Use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb instead. I started doing that when I was 14 and I haven't really gotten any split ends since. Using too many heat products like hairdryers/curlers/straighteners might cause them too. I dunno since I don't use those very often. |

I'm not really sure when I'll bother to cut my hair, it's almost to my shoulders. It's a pretty even split on how many people tell me to cut it and how many tell me to not cut it. I think the tie-breaker would be either dating someone who had a preference or being mistaken for a girl enough times.
I think I should use my signature as a means of signifying how long my hair currently is, which means I'd need to change it. |

I'm letting my hair grow so I can tie it back. Should be there by the fall, I figure.
I'm also letting my beard grow, and will possibly braid it when it's long enough. |

Ooh, ponytail on your chin look. Schweet.
Ugh. I know it's bad not to get it cut. But we lost my hairdresser ages ago, and my parents haven't made an appointment with any new one yet. And not many people can cut my hair well, since it's incredibly light and it just flies out of your hands. O_O; And I can't make an appointment myself, since I don't know where anything is. Point is; I'm not refusing to cut it. I just don't know where~ D': Hmm, I always brush my hair when it's wet. If I don't it dries in a really weird way and sticks like that. Terribly annoying. I guess I'll have to stop that before I damage my hair too badly, though. Or actually get a hairdresser. |

What kind of brush do you use? Try not to use one that the bristles are too sharp. One with the little beads on the ends of them will help. I know because I have to brush mine too or it's too messy and dries all knotty, but I don't seem to get splits ends.
Also, maybe not washing your hair everyday will help too. Maybe buy a showercap to wear every other day, it saves on drying it and also will make your hair healthier. |

Yeah, I brush my hair when it's wet as well. If I don't, it becomes this enormous matted mass that's impossible to manage. I've tried to brush it dry before and all it does is turn into this giant frizzed out mess. (That's if I can get the brush through the knots.) With all that in mind, though, I usually only brush my hair in the shower once or twice a week and I use a brush with fairly widely spaced teeth that have the little balls on the ends. (And yet, despite all this, I still have split ends that are a good 6 inches long from mid-back to waist. FAIL.)

Hasn't Chris posted that picture before? Or am I just mashing them together?
Yeah, I have a spaced one with beads on the end. Lerr, I think I actually need to wash my hair more often. Don't tell me about hygeine, because I do know I'm meant to take a shower more than twice a week. *Hides* |
