Do you consider yourself to be a lady killer?

That's not for me to decide. It's up to them.

Lady killer as in Jack the Ripper?

A book I'd suggest, if you like a kind of mystery/creepy book, read Shutter Island. I know it's now a movie but it's actually a really good book. My aunt went to see the movie and she said they did a great job.... Just have to get a chance to actually get to the movies. Xp

No way, only way I could bring myself to kill a woman would be if she were a vampire or a Medusa.

I heard the script for the movie wasn't very good (though the acting was fine). Anyway usually I only read books when I don't have to go buy them cuz I'm super lazy like that. The problem is none of my friends are readers so I don't have access to much.

You mentioned being up for 36 hours recently, and I'm just wondering what you were doing for all that time. School work? Or just couldn't sleep or what?

Lots of work. I can't even begin to explain it all because it's so encompassing, ranging from marine biology to electricity generation to graphic design. But also sometimes I just can't sleep.

Is there anyone you model yourself on? They don't have to be real.

No. My clothes are pretty work oriented, a number of things which were my grandfather's, and my hair just naturally curls and shapes itself the way it does after it dries from being in the shower.

I didn't mean appearance-wise, but never mind...

Have you ever played a Phoenix Wright game?

Did you mean personality-wise then? Cuz I just kinda do whatever.

Nope, never played a Phoenix Wright game. The way people won't shut up about it kind of makes it less appealing for me to get into.

That's pretty cool, did you get it? The thing is, though, you'll either love it or hate it. It's pretty hard but the script is so goddamn good and intriguing that if you get hooked on it you won't be able to stop. The controls and everything are great, but the RISK stat makes things pretty crazy. It goes up if you keep comboing your attacks, and the higher it gets, the lower your accuracy gets and the more damage you take, to the point where some enemies can just take you down in a single good hit. Save often.

'course I did. Can't pass up on something that's great and ten bucks. My only problem is, like you said, once hooked it'll be hard to stop. So it'll probably end up being put off for a while... and with the typically empty Summer months now filled with Mario and Metroid I hope I can get to it SOME TIME before the year is through.

Usually the big demotivator is when you get to a boss and he kills you like a chump and you realize it's been a while since you saved. Your knowledge of Timed Hits will save you though, cuz there's a move you get where if you time the enemy's attack, you recover half of the damage, which if you use properly will always save you. The hardest part is that many of the enemy attack animations are rather tricky, unlike Mario RPG's.

I don't work for any companies. Right now I'm working on some research towards the development of Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion, which I'm doing with a proper scientist (I don't have any degrees or anything, while he has a Ph.D).

Ah, I wasn't sure whether you were doing research {which I remember seeing you talk about before} for a company or some sort of group.

Did you go to university or study anything?

I've taken some classes on a variety of environmental technology subjects, but I don't have any degrees or anything. I do spend a decent amount of my free time researching things though. I have access to a lot of scientific journals, databases, and libraries, so I'm getting better information than if I were to just read Wikipedia or something.

Tests and affiliations are lame.

I think I might need to adjust it, now that I think about it.
