Awesome. I noticed that my up-B attack I keep on misjudging and driving myself off the edge. Do you think we could do some C-Falcon, Brian's best character, and some Wolf rounds later? Those always tend to be the best.

His best is probably Donkey Kong, but Ganon's probably his second best. He plays Ganon pretty regularly and likes to save DK for the most important fights like in tournaments and stuff. But yeah, I was about to switch to Falcon.

Donkey Kong seems to be a character he usees a lot in different Nintendo games. Did he grow up playing DK related games? Like DK64 and the DK Countries?

Well, we had the Donkey Kong Classics for NES and all 3 of the DKC games for SNES, as well as DK64. But basically, he just says "Donkey Kong is the man."

Think this is gonna be my last round. I'm now enjoying our Wolf vs Link vs Ganon rounds, and now our swordsman rounds seem to be pretty fun too.

It's killing me now that even after I try pretty hard on DK Summit for Mario Kart I keep getting over 2:15 (my best is 2:15.33 or something) and I just gotta know how you get under that 2:10 range. Short cuts? Or do you just make super sharp turns like I've been trying to do.

Super sharp turns. Also, try to minimize the time you spend in the air.

Yeah I think air time maybe my true problem, I avoid the ramps except the small ones not to far from the cannon where you can do a good number of tricks on without getting to high. What vehicle did you use to get that good of a time? So far my best is with the mach bike and I'll probably try to improve it tommorow, but just curious on your choice.

Well, Oscar told me to use Yoshi on the Shooting Star, but since that's a heavyweight bike and I don't have much unlocked on that license, I just went with the Mach Bike. I also tried as Wario in the Honeycoupe and I got 2:12 or so.

Karts tend to be fast, but I always feel like I'm going so slow compared to using the mach bike, probably because I can't pop a wheelie for that speed boost and the only thing you do get is an extra mini turbo boost when drifting. Oh that wasn't really much of a question, but I don't really want to come up with some random one really.

Yeah, bikes are definitely better, simply because you can always be drifting or doing a wheelie, and the fact that half of the bikes can turn crazy sharp. The only advantage to karts is if you can use that sliding drift to get around certain obstacles or get more drift bonuses in certain stages, but even still it comes out to be worse than just turning fast and doing a wheelie.

Which do you find more romantic? Roses or Carnations?
Or maybe you have your own choice? |
