Yes, but I have no money. I'm also in college right now, so I don't really see 'spending' money in my future either. =/

Great, Nintendo is releasing a new handheld. The DSi was just made and now there's a DS2? Oh and let's not forget they just made the DSXL and they might make the DSi 2.0 during the Summer then surprise us with a new handheld a few months later. They should have never made the DSi in my opinion, maybe just made new DS Lite colors or something. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Gaaa!!

If you bought all these revisions, then you're stupid. Or if you're rich, then it's up to you if you're satisfied. They aren't new systems, they're variations on the DS with different feature sets. I don't understand why some people find this so troubling. It's not like Nintendo strategically holds back on features so they can spread them out through multiple revisions. For example with the DSi, it wouldn't have been economically viable to put two cameras on the original DS when it was released 5 years ago.
Now if you purchased a PSP Go, then I understand why you're upset. |

Rumours don't exactly spread if they talk about 2 generation-old technology. No sir, it has to start with Tegra chips, and throw in some motion sensors for good measure.

There, now you have heard(seen) someone say they hate the DSi. It's so stupid and pointless. The DS/DSlite was enough. |

A lot of people feel the same way. GBA was an awesome system, the first two DS(s) let you play them, DSi added a camera, and some shitty DSi ware at the cost of an entire generation of awesome GBA games.
EDIT: Not to mention I can't find a new GBA for under 100 bucks. It woudl be different if they still made GBAs the way Sony still makes PS2s. |

I bought a DS Lite because it looked way better than the DS and plus my touch screen was horribly scratched. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif) So I got the DS Lite and then time passed and it got really worn out, the up button on the D Pad was nearly broken. Soooo I was wondering "should I just go and get a DS Lite or maybe this new DSi?" I decided that I might as well go with a DSi, but I had no money, so I traded in my old scratched up DS and DS Lite AND some Gamecube games I didn't play and got it for free, sort of.
I am mad cuz I should've just gone with a new DS Lite or something since it was cheaper. Hmm, actually now that I think about it, I'm glad I did end up getting the DSi. I'm just mad I don't have an extra DS to use to trade Pokemon in it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I'm gonna need it now for SS... |

The one thing that I disliked about the DS Lite was the poor resistance in the buttons. DSi has good resistance and if I want to play any GBA games I still have my old SP to play them on anyways, so can't say I dislike the DSi. GBA port in it would have been nice, but can't have everything.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Or even rich since they come out years apart, so I would assume you'd have at least $200 by then...(unless of course if you don't have a source of income, which in that case I can understand) Tons of companies do the whole revisions thing and all that. If something is popular, then they keep selling it and add to it. Buying them just means you like it or you want those new features because they improve the overall product. HMR: Yes!! The buttons are wonderful. My DS Lite buttons were in bad shape. =/ |

So anything that isn't designed with your specific needs in mind is stupid and pointless? No, anything that adds unnecessary features to an already sound console is stupid in pointless. For example, what is the point of the DSi camera? Can anyone provide a logical reason why the DS needed a camera feature? Other than as a gimmick to attract buyers. The DSi also removed backwards compatible, which is like a downgrade. =/ I have a DSlite that I am extremely pleased with. I cannot not see what Nintendo actually 'improved' on it. |

So those millions of people who bought a DSi are stupid and pointless? Again, just because it wasn't designed to meet your specific needs, doesn't mean its existence isn't justifiable. Oh, and nobody cares about GBA anymore. I bet you the average consumer appreciates the reduction in size over gba functionality. |

Just so you know, the creator of Pokemon announced that Gen v would be on the DS, not its succesor.

Oh, and nobody cares about GBA anymore. I bet you the average consumer appreciates the reduction in size over gba functionality. Again, no. Is the console itself stupid and pointless? Yes. Are the people who bought it stupid and pointless? No. Are the people who insisted on buying every new DS just because it was 'new' stupid? Yes, in that respect at least. Are the people who bought the newer DS because their ones didn't work or because they didn't have one stupid? No. My whole point was that Nintendo should have just left well enough alone. =/ *** Moving on . . . Kozunai: Hurray~! |
