I'm pumped to play some classic Harvest Moon SNES. I haven't beaten the game fully before, but I've probably played it on three separate occasions. The classic game that started it all, the nostalgia, and the drive to complete the game perfectly have all gotten me excited about playing. Whether or not I'll finish this time stands to be seen, but damn, Harvest Moon SNES is a great game.

Would anyone else care to play? I'm going to play it on my Wii most likely!

I have a lot of games on my plate too. Maybe it's not the best time to be playing HM SNES - or maybe it's the best time! I have a lot of free time needing to be put to use. GO HM SNES!

Scratch my last post. I'm playing. I haven't properly played this game so don't expect too much out of it.

Ah. This sends me good memories of finishing the game with my two unisex children. <3
I can't wait until I buy this on the Wii Channel, that way, it won't randomly disappear on the laptop's data. I wish I could play right now. ;--;

Why can't you get it on Virtual Console now?

I finally got around to playing Harvest Moon for just over an hour. I finished the first day then spent the second clearing the entire farm, getting a Power Berry, and collecting enough lumber for the first house upgrade. I feel rather accomplished.

Going to take a break for now though, but I'm quite intent on playing more.

I haven't had any Wii Points in ages. D': I forgot to ask for some as a birthday present. I could ask for some later on....

Well, I just finished playing through Spring. I'd say I've done quite a bit.

-Cleared the entire farm, save for daily weeds
-Five Power Berries
-Shipped 94 potatoes
-2 full grown chickens, 2 chicks, and 1 egg in the incubator
-4 patches of grass
-Bought Snow Gem
-House is currently upgrading
-Been working on befriending all the girls
-Danced with Eve at the Flower Festival
-3,740G

I'd say I had a pretty good first season :)

I always remember having 4 (or maybe it was 6?) sections of crops and just barely being able to ship them all before 5:00 PM if I started as soon as I woke up. Also looking for all the power berries was a big deal way back when I knew nothing about the game except from what I discovered first hand.

I can barely manage to ship 32 crops (4 patches) right beside the shipping by day's end. I often miss one.

This issue concerns me, or at least suggests I should plan an offset of shipping days. Likely I will only have 4 patches of crops until I attain the sprinkler.

Holy crackers, I cleared the whole field and it roughly took an hour. But I'm glad I did it.

I always loved how he'd start stretching if left alone, even if he's talking to someone. Makes it look like he's not listening haha.

That's awesome. Maria asked if I believed in god and he was stretching before I accidentally said no. Looked like a totally jerk probably.

Wooh! Just got through Summer. Nothing overly excited happened since my hurricanes though. I spent the majority of the summer planting grass so I could get more cows for Fall and Winter.

It kind of sucks how you can't grow crops in Fall :(

I'm playing five different files on there - one for each girl, obviously... in four of them, I'm ready to propose in the middle of the first summer. The other one is my Ellen file, where we're in the second spring (very early on), she's just had baby 1 (I can't remember what I named it), and I've got three cows and four chickens.

I'm going for the best ending, so I've gotta get my butt in gear with crop-shipping.

I forget whether or not Nina still keeps her amusing Engrish after marriage.
