Superbowl XLIV, Colts or Saints? Options

Well the Superbowl is this Sunday. Yay!
I'm pretty excited, I like football quite a bit. Not as much as baseball, but whatever.

I'm rooting for the Colts, I really hope they win! Me and my friends are having a big watch party. I can't wait. :D

I'm rooting for the Colts even though I'm a diehard Jets fan. I want to see Peyton get his second ring, he deserves it big time.

I care to an extent. I mean, I can't be too involved just because it isn't my team, but I do play football and like watching them play and observing moves.

Baseball is cool and all, but it's too slow paced to watch for me. Football is better.

That comma after Colts in the post, I also believe should not exist. I feel a period or semicolon would be better.

The addition of the word 'and' after the comma in the post is the simplest solution.

Simplest? In terms of keystrokes a semicolon or period is just one while "and" is four counting the space.

Well, not everyone knows how to use a semicolon correctly. If you want to keep it as a combined sentence, then I still say adding 'and' is the simplest solution.

A period would still be simpler than the word and. Of course, I'm going based off the words given.

A period is the simplest, unless you want to keep the thoughts combined. In which case, I still vote for adding 'and'.

Yup, and would have worked just fine too. I'm just being argumentative (and thus not serious) because I really, really dislike football. Rather this new discussion on punctuation has amused me. Don't take it personally :P

Even with the loss of Dwight Freeny, it was going to be a shootout anyway. And I think if it's Manning vs Brees, it'll be Manning prevailing.

I'm rooting for the Saints, I respect Peyton Manning as a great QB but I don't want him getting closer to Brady in the ring department.

The Saints are the underdog anyway and most neutral fans love an underdog, not to mention they have a pretty nice Super Bowl song.

Normally I would, but I like Manning to be in the talk of the best of all time. Plus he's better than Brady so I want him to prove rings don't make you the best.

Manning had a much better offense than Brady for the majority of his career, when Brady finally did get great weapons in Moss and Welker he broke the single season TD record. Brady's always had the better defense and that's why he has rings but he also played pretty well in the postseason and Super Bowls, the guy's just clutch. Peyton Manning's playoff performance during his Super Bowl season was abysmal and he was up against Rex Grossman to win it.

Plus Brady's wife is hotter
