Thanks Tyler, and Saffy once more! And of course, Saffy, pulling it off is all in the math! (I love geometry <3)

I must say, Kyle makes some lovely costumes! They look very well made (Like a shirt you'd buy at a store to wear everyday~)
And Pfft. Saffy deserves more pictures then!

Then tell the convention goers that you are not, in fact wearing a costume, but that this is what you wear on a regular basis. (In other words, you are being one of the 'normies'.) Or inform them that they have made a 'Where the Wild Things Are' anime/tell them you didn't change out of your pajamas. Or something. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I would still love to see a Max at a convention, though.


A lot of people seem to think Newfoundland and Labrador's beautiful. I have fun saying that we were just taking pictures in the cul-de-sac. (But the scenery is nice. Saffy should totally consider getting a job here)

I was quite pleased with the costumes. He probably spent a good week or so on them. I remember him being really excited about making them :P It's a shame, I took a while to start wearing it which kind of disappointed him. But man, was it ever fun to have people come up and ask for pictures :D

I'd love to go as Max, though I'm not sure how I'd get a costume (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I've seen some for sale online though. I just need someone to go with who would be open to the idea of me going as Max or who would also like to dress up. I'm just not sure of anyone who might want to do that, and I don't want to go alone :(

Newfoundland and the Atlantic provinces are beautiful. I have a fair bit of family out there as I'm half Newfy myself. I almost got a job out there last year too D: I'm going to try again this summer~

If Max is unnaceptable at an anime convention, then so is a Lemming. Then there's all the Western Animation costumes people have, Sci-Fi, and you may as well count out video games as a whole too. Except no one does because it's a nerdy convention so nerdy outfits are acceptable. Go nerds!

Well, Katie & I were in this local antique mall that I love with great vigor, just huntin' for cool things. While browsing, I saw this furry looking thing in a corner wedged behind a lot of stuff. Naturally, being my curious self, I start vaulting over paintings and randomly placed furniture to get to this thing. I'm all, "hmmm, what could this be--OHHHHMY."

So Katie's a vegetarian and a big wildlife supporter. Which is great. But I have license to tease her. So without her noticing, I pull out the one on the right first, then realize there's a second one wedged back in this corner too, so I grab it while I'm back there. While she's off somewhere texting, I sneak up behind her with these things with my serial killer grin until she turns around and flips. It was great. People were looking at us funny. There was great tomfoolery. :D
