You can give them whatever you want. I don't think their affection noticeably drops if you don't give them cake. I don't know the affection boost that cake on Harmony Day gives, though. o_o So you may be missing out on what, 5 or 10 LP? Small potatoes, really, at that point in the game.

Of course it won't drop. My point when talking about Harmony Day is that you only get the boost when you give then a cake. At least, based on my experience in ToT. You can give them anything you like for a normal boost in points, but it you want that little bit extra . . . then it as to be something with the word 'cake' in it.

Ship lots and lots of ranching goods. It's 80,000G to get to level four, but I don't know if that's necessary for silkworms.
I'm not the expert on the ranching mechanics. I'm more of a crop farmer myself.

Yikes, high amount there, I do more crop work too, but animals are nice to have as a secondary. And since I only have 1 cow, a lamb, and 2 ducks that might be a while...

For my ten people to woo for the Purple Bell, I chose the Witch & Wizard (I had stocked up on Fugue Mushrooms), Yolanda [for the treasure] & Perry [for the Mira's Flowers scene] who both like Green Tea (I was growing mass amounts of Tea Leaves at one time), Barbara [for the dairy products] with purchased Vegetable Juice (Her hearts went up very fast for me!), Ozzie [for recycling] & Paolo who adore anything you find on the beach, and… well, I'm working on the rest. I'll probably end up doing Pascal because he also likes beachcombed things or Taylor who likes Fugue Mushrooms or one of the other bachelorettes so I can see the Love Advice scene [though I haven't picked the girl yet. ._.].

Any suggestions as to which bachelorette is easy to gift for? I already read something about Luna liking Sakura Seashells and other talk of-- oh snap! Candace likes Green Tea? Hecks yeah, I still have 15 Tea Leaves left over. Target sighted.

Candace likes regular tea as well. Anissa too I'm pretty sure. Phoebe seemed fine with yellow wonderfuls, easily keeping up with Candace in spite of it not being a favorite thing as well.

You have to have your coop and barn all the way upgraded, too.

Another question, how do I unlock more pet tricks? I have the collie and it's still at LV 1 trick, so do you just have to do that trick alot or does it have something to do with amount of hearts?

Just doing tricks every day seems to help. I think hearts may be involved, but since those go up with the trick level pretty naturally, it's hard to tell.

Next question I have is about marriage. How many hearts do you need on a person (8-10 isn't it?) to get married, and how do you obtain the blue feather?

8-10 is right. Mira'll come by and tell you about the blue feather, then you get to climb to the top of the mountain through the mine, or teleport if you're done with the story and talked to the God about stuff, and hang around until it shows up. The exact time I think is mentioned by Mira.

I found it a bit hard at first, but after a while of playing I just kind of got back into it. I just picked it up about 5 or so days ago and I haven't played since November n now the game is a bit better. Then again how far you are in the game would make a difference too.

I think with the home fully upgraded you have room for 4.

Yes, that's correct. And for some reason, your fourth pet lives upstairs. Cause I my fourth, and I keep forgetting I have it since I never see it.

Getting wishes is fairly easy if you know the right people to befriend.
