So I'm hearing a number of you would like the locker rooms brought back. Instead of making a rash decision, I figured it'd be best to pull the audience.
Do you want the locker rooms brought back? Do you think they were a stupid idea? I did enjoy the locker rooms myself and certainly wouldn't mind them. They might be a needed change to the question topics even. We also had a fair bit of success and a lot of laughs or other amusements while they existed. On the downside they were mature and not particularly appropriate for a Harvest Moon forum. |

Honestly, I'm up for the Locker Rooms.
The mature part, I'm sure you can set some standards. Why not an age limit like someone mentioned? If people get out of line, ban then from the topic, warn them, delete their posts. Grow a pair and be a proper mod. |

The inclusion of passwords should prevent anyone underage from joining. We also do have a large number of active older users who would like to talk about other things. No one is certainly being forced to read those forums and they wouldn't even visible to those who wouldn't want to.

Enh, I wasn't crazy about them. The passwords changed too much for me to enjoy them very much after awhile. But, they were kinda fun to leaf through when I was bored.
I guess I wouldn't mind having them around, but I don't think we need them. I think we should actually focus less these days on social sections and post more in the HM sections, but that's just me. *coughLongLiveRanchStoryRevival!cough* I'm not too opinionated about it. |

I don't really mind whether or not that the'rey there. I never partook. Plus, people told me that half the girls locker was just a bunch of flaming so I never took the time to ask for a password. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Eh, maybe I'll have a look around this time. I might enjoy it.

Going through puberty leaves lots of fun discussion for me to bring in there. Yes, make a password locker room. It'd be fun.

The thing about the Harvest Moon forums is that there are only few times where people actually post there. When Animal Parade came out we had massive activity as a result. After a while it turned back to nothing. I think it's really just a matter of when the games are interesting and there's a mass of people playing. The reality is that many people don't seem to come to the forums for Harvest Moon. They come to socialize.
After reading the previous discussion on the matter, I do somewhat agree with the conclusion. If the topic is too mature for the Mature Issues forum then it probably shouldn't be on this site. Otherwise the topics were silly. I still enjoyed the occasional post though, but I suppose we'd need a better concept altogether. |

I wouldn't mind having them. Sometimes it can be pretty fun. So long as no one goes outtaline in there. >.> I might actualy post if someone makes a good topic. But I think the password shouldn't change so often, and we SHOULD have an age limit.

Honestly, as funny as some of those locker room threads are, and as nice as it is to see some more mature stuff that isn't 90% controversy like the Mature Issues section is, I think I'd probably never partake in it if I were stuck just talking to other women. I mean, I just don't want to talk about chocolate pudding like periods and guys and bra sizes.... And I definitely don't want to get into any catty flame wars... I deal with enough estrogen as it is. -_-;;

The password changed because of abuse, if I recall. But I agree it should not be changed so often.

Can you just manually keep track of who can see what? Or is that too hard/impossible?

It bothered me slightly that there were girls in the guys', and guys in the girls'. I dunno, I'd just kind of prefer that the passwords would be guarded a little more carefully. I mean, obviously Jason and Saffy could go to them both. But, just...meh. I dunno. It doesn't bother me either way, whether they're here or not.

We could add it to the permissions, but it might be a bit of an annoyance.

That's because Saffy is a hermy, and Jason is a perv with titties and toosh on the brain.
EDIT: Titties isn't censored? LAWLZ. |

I don't see the point of the locker rooms, really.
I mean, the mature issues section lets you select whether you would prefer male or female input now. So . . . locker rooms would be pointless. You could argue that you want only male or female input, but no matter what you do people are going to hack their way in or the passwords are going to leak. =/ Edit: Oh, I forgot. The kids who really want to see what the 'adults' are talking about will simply lie about their age to get in. A lot of kids do that. |
