Has anyone else noticed the terrible changes to the cut scenes? My biggest problem was the Luna Selena Bar scene. Luna's supposed to come in to deliver a tablecloth, and Selena tells her only adults can be in the bar, and they get in a fight about Luna's age. Instead Selena starts the fight thinking Luna's come to steal her job (?) and they get in a fight about Selena's "trashy" outfit. Wow, that's really stupid.

I think I remember Selena implying that Luna was much less sexy than she was, and that Luna insulted Selena's outfit. x_o Or maybe I just can't read or remember things right.
Yesterday, though, I got to Candace and Julius's rival event. D: It's as horrible as I thought it would be. Why, Natsume, why?! |

Many cut scenes were changed during the English translation. In Japan, they're allowed to see more, adult things. Meanwhile, here in America, I guess we have laws on what goes into certain rated games. Trying to protect the youth I guess. Which is a big fail, since we have much worse things going on.

Yea thats pretty tragic.
But I did see the Luke/Owen/Calvin scene in the mines, and it was pretty funny, I'm not gonna lie. |

Originally video games didn't have ratings. That was a huge mistake. So, really, the ratings we have are better than none at all. :\ Seriously. I watched a show about video games through the ages (don't judge me), and they talked about that. But yeah, it's kind of a fail with some of the stuff on TV. |

Really, how fast IS each farm animal in comparison to one another? I fear the guide lies to me. Are the cow and sheep really the same speed, or am I just imagining that the sheep's leaps (lolrhyme) are a tad quicker? Plus the whole whistling thing where whichever ridable animal is closer (I think?) really bothers me. Also wondering about the difference between horses & ostriches. Speed-wise.

From what I know, the horse goes faster than the ostrich. I have a cow and a horse, and I can tell the difference between the two. And the whistle thing is really begginning to tick me off!! I want my friggin' horse, not my cow!!
Can someone go to The Tolby and answer my questions? I don't feel like repasting them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ;; EDIT: Thanks, Lady. OMG, GUYS!!! We've been used as an external link on Wikipedia!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I cheered when I saw that. At the bottom. :D |

this site is like a gold mine for harvest moon information and opinion.
Anyways, for harmony day, is it possible to get cakes from people other than your spouse? I didn't get cake from anyone other than Chase, and it was a little sad. D: |

The guide book says anyone with five or more hearts.
Dudes, I can't be the first to realize this, right? Did you know that if you hold A and swing the Wii remote, it charges faster? Swing once for first charge, twice for second, etc.... |

I was just wondering. Because whenever anybody asks if they took out the use of the Wii remote thing, everybody says yes. But I'd say that this kind of counts....

I haven't played AP in a couple of months, and my first file isn't really that far ahead. I had a few characters at 2 hearts and Kathy at 3 or so and I wasn't even in Summer yet and I think 3 bells rang, and had less than 5000 gold. So my question is, should I try to get back into this file, or completely start over and fix some errors I made?

Errors make the man. It's a learning experience and if you screwed up, you fix it by planning better. No resetting for you!
Besides, that's not too terrible. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) you make a good point, the only thing that bothered me is that I didn't get the seed shop upgraded n it'd take a majority of the summer, so I'd have to wait until the next year to finish the main game.

I think the best things to plant in the summer are tea leaves and honeydews. So try planting those, and you'll get a lot of money. Then the seed place will be upgraded.
Haaa! This is the best quote ever (well, besides the question Ose asks me after he does chores...): Spoiler: Candace: It's just...a little-- Julius: Are you calling me short?! I am AVERAGE HEIGHT! Do you hear me, sister?! AVERAGE HEIGHT!!! xDDDD |

LOL! Yeah! I happened to be fishing one day, and while holding A I moved my hand and it made a swoosh sound. Then while watering my crops today, I started doing it, just for fun, and I realized that it makes it charge faster. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
And LOL! That's exactly what he does. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |
